For a guy who doesn’t own a guitar anymore, I had tears in my eyes when you said you sold your gear. Though I never needed the money, I did see people who would do my instruments more justice than me. These days, I borrow my son’s guitars. I admire you greatly Paul. You do make dreams a reality for so many musicians. It was nice to see a glimpse of where that comes from.
Give it a try again. Maybe there is a six string waiting for you in a corner somewhere. If there is one thing I would love to do is a jam with my dad. Even if it's just 2 chords and 5 minutes. Priceless moments of the future.
One of the greatest singers in rock music talking to the creator of one of the best guitar brands that has ever or will ever exist. Cheers to both of these gentlemen!
This whole series has been about the people at it core. Sure you talk about gear and music but it's really about the people. I really respect Paul because he walked the walk when it came down to it. He did more than just say people matter.
I'm such a Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti geek. Picked up the guitar in my mid-40's and my first play-through was "Higher" by Creed 1 year later. Did it on my TH-cam Channel, was a huge day that I could get through a Tremonti song. Alter Bridge is still my number favorite band hands down. My goal is to buy a real Tremonti Sig guitar but spending $4K-$5K (the charcoal burst) with two kids in college, $7K a year in car insurance, etc. is not in the cards. Never even played a PRS guitar. I'm down to owning just one MIM Strat (HSS) guitar now, a tiny pedalboard, and a pair of headphones. My goal is to play "Open Your Eyes" well without the solo someday. Great interview on both sides.
I'm still waiting for PRS to put that Tremonti prototype (the Explorer-esque one) into production, the tone on that thing is just nasty, in the best way possible. Without even seeing it, you can tell when Mark has that monster in his hands. It stands apart from all his other guitars.
@@thetruestein2530 I went to a talk with Paul at at a local guitar store about 2 years ago and asked him when they were going to release it, at the time he said there were no plans to as it was only meant as a one of custom for Mark 😥
RE: Myles on loving singing/feedback with the crowd- On a ABIII Tour stop in Dallas, Myles forgot the start of the second verse of one of the songs. After a few bars of instrumental he said "I've got $100 for anyone that can remind me the first line of this verse" Of course 20 people at once shouted it out, and sure enough a tech brought Myles a Benjamin and he gave it to one of the people in the crowd. It was a small venue, and the atmosphere was pure magic after that, that humanizing moment brought everyone further into the moment.
Two amazing guys. Love how humble they both are and what an impact they've both had in the industry. I could have listened to them talk for days lol Great stuff
So Myles... You went to Mead... Jason's Grandfather was married to my Mother in N W Mt. Until he was taken from us in a head on collision.... Ted was an amazing person who helped me out alot in my career. We miss him.
For you paul you only talk to people that are in bands talk to there are not any bands and see what they have to say about your guitar you are just like Stradivarius with violin where you build your guitars you will go down in infamy
The greatest guitar maker on the planet. I scoop up PRS guitars as much as I can, when I can. Latest, an '09 SC245 with what is not marked a 10 top, but is way into the 10 top qualifications. Nothin' like that PRS smell! WIDE FAT FOREVER!
One of the best and last performances of Johnny Winter was on David Letterman several yeas ago. With the Firebird and a Super Reverb cranked to the gills. "Dust My Broom" Absolutely KILLED. Look it up here on the Tube!
Nothing would be cooler than having Myles Kennedys name on a signature PRS. Come one guys make the power duo happen. :)
Hey, this comment just came true 2 weeks ago :D
@@chandragiffary163 I know right.
Something about this was bittersweet. They both still geek out like kids, but man our heroes are getting old.
Truly one of the most gifted musicians of our life time. Certainly the best vocalist I've heard in my life.
Myles is such a great guy - I can't think of a player and singer who is so talented and so humble
Great video, I absolutely idolize Myles, HUGE inspiration for me
Give him a signature model Paul, I'll be first in line to pre-order it
Great interview. Couldn’t agree more with Paul, Myles has his feet on the ground. Such a nice person!
I cannot wait until AB VII.. Alter bridge is my favorite band and the reason why i want a PRS guitar so badly.. Can't wait until i get my first PRS!!
Is it confirmed already?
Awesome. Great interview, Paul. Good guy, that Myles Kennedy. Thanks for all you do for us, Paul. You Rock.

I dream with the day Myles will have his signature guitar! 👀
Absolute beautiful guitar player and vocalist. Paul you make some tasty guitars.
Great interview! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 I didn’t know that Kevin Bacon and Larry Sanders were such good friends!!! 😂
Myles Kennedy is a ferocious talent. Certainly my all-time favourite vocalist. Great guitar player obviously, but that voice is extraordinary.
Myles should have a PRS Signature by now :)
.....the Tele! 😉
@@rosieotis Then let’s get him a Silver Sky Myles tele style then :)
@@TheShaneGuy John Mayer moment
Am I the only one hyped that this man has Johnny winters beard particles in his home! Too cool!

Myles Kennedy has probably the best band, there has ever been.
And the best albums. And the best songs and the best guitars.
This whole series has been about the people at it core. Sure you talk about gear and music but it's really about the people. I really respect Paul because he walked the walk when it came down to it. He did more than just say people matter.
I was there in Baltimore to see you guys play together!!! Epic ness.

The real question we all wanted to hear was “When is Myles signature model coming?”
lets start with his album comes out tomorrow, so... the signature gotta be sooner than we think

Oh No will have to buy another PRS!
In an interview with Andertons Mark said that if it gets enough traction they might release it for public sales. Maybe after his 100 w amp gets out?
This has been one of my favorite episodes in this series!

Also yes, MK sig, I'm in.

Thank you so much for this show. Refreshing!!

😎👍💗🇺🇸🎸 LONG LIVE PRS!!!
Relic free since 1985!
I'm SO stoked to watch this
Amazing interview-thx for sharing🙏
Myles was born on Jimi Hendrix's last living birthday. Just saying... 🎸🎶
Myles is a monster musician, and he's very funny. I love his work and all of his projects.
I was lucky enough to see "The Mayfield Four" play in Regina, Saskatchewan open for "The Watchmen" & "Big Wreck" both from Canada. AWESOME show!
Same hall that my high school graduation was in 4 or 5 years prior to that show!
give this man a signature already!
thank you Paul for having a great friend to share with us, oh and yes he is a wonderful talent
So Myles...
You went to Mead...

Ted was an amazing person who helped me out alot in my career.
We miss him.
I remember seeing my favourite band for years now, playing my favourite guitar brand.
Once in my life, I wanna own a core model as well.
Two of the coolest guys!!!
Enjoyed, Thanks
Thank god Marky Mark pulled him out of the audience to sing with Steel Dragon! 🤣😂

Going to go listen to some Myles. And Paul, I can’t wait to attend the next PRS Experience just to say hello again.

Gotta love Myles, beast player, awesome singer
This was a really good episode.
Saw Johnny Winter once. Made me want to quit playing. He was amazing. Great interview.
22:17 I Had to Sell My Satin S2 standard a year or so ago .(I miss it... it had that specal mojo). Paul Just hit me in the feels..
Somebody make a Myles Kennedy signature guitar, please !!! MK deserves a guitar with his signature, it has passed the time since recognition. ❤️🇧🇷

My question is when is PRS coming out with their own Tele ;) !!!!!
Greetings Mr Paul!
Really hope they make a signature sc245, based on his iconic tobacco burst! Or maybe even a t-style prs :D
A t-style PRS would be absolutely mind blowing! Although, we both know that it’d be the Silver Sky vs Strat drama all over again haha!
Johnny & Edgar Winter at the Act 3 A GoGo, Houston, Texas.
Myles is such a talented musician.
This might be my favorite one so far! Looking forward to Clint.
There's a tailor shop in northtown that could fix that epic jacket Myles
Myles has to get a signature model
Much respect to two very talented individuals. Don't you dare do MK signature model Paul. I'm trying real hard to not buy any guitars right now!
So when is Slash coming to PRS?
Myles seems like such a genuinely decent fucking dude. Anyone that doesn’t leave a like on this has seriously clouded judgment.
I bought a 2 knob mutron phaser new. Wish I still had it.
SUBTÍTULOS EN ESPAÑOL POR FAVOR
what 19 views and only 7 likes - WHAT!!!!!!!
Why dont you make PRS guitar necks with Radius 12 or 14 inch fretboards
They call me Thor.. the god of Thundaaaaaah
What is the amp name? Soul, sole, Sol?
Sewell. It was a brand before Paul hired the man to design an make PRS amps.

Deep Purple? C'mon Man! Judas Priest Paul, Judas Priest! And then Paul, yea, right. Lol
