- Discover how to disable the ASV (Air Suction Valve) on your motorcycle with this step-by-step instructional video. Join us as we guide you through the process, providing clear and concise instructions for a successful modification.
First, locate the ASV, typically found beneath the tank of your motorcycle. Remove the bolt holding it in place, along with the connected hoses-three pipes originating from the exhaust, intake, and air box.
To disable the ASV, block all three pipes using a suitable method like epoxy putty. Ensure a secure seal to prevent unwanted airflow.
Once the ASV is disabled, we'll crank up the motorbike and observe its performance without the valve. Experience the potential changes firsthand.

Is it increase additional air supply for the combustion
No
very nice
What is the Job of Air suction valve? What does it do ? And why do we need to disable it?
Just some device to pass emissions, not necessary to remove unless you want it performance gains are not noticeable but iam preparing my bike for further modifications soon so removal was necessary.

Bro is it safe to remove asv im modifing my motorcycle so i want to remove it
Yes it's for pollution control nothing else
Do you feel improved throttle response & performance?
No more like placebo effect
@@scram911 sorry bro i didn't get you 😁
no noticeable performance difference
Dont disable Bypass it Let breath Fresh Air NOT From Exhaust Bypass Exhaust hose out side with Jugaad Mini Mufler and Volve Open place Fix Foam filter Let Engine breath Filered 10-20 % Air from this EGR Volve this system Spoiling Engine Performance i sm Running for 8 year Bajaj V15 like this Trick Engine Breath Fresh Oxygen
thanks for suggestion but i like to keep it that way.
Tum ne to iski NASBANDI KERDI 😂😂😂 IDLING SMOOTH NAHI RAHTI Throttle close pe Engine Breathing kaise hoga vaccum se Idle me Smooth Breath Firing rahte throttle Hi Rakhte hai to AIR FUEL Mixture Dhang se Nahi hote Engine Agressive hojata Change to BY PASS Technique as i Menssioned clean old Volve before Fixing
air suction valve's job is to allow fresh air from the airbox into the exhaust system during deceleration this helps burn any leftover unburned fuel in the exhaust gases for reducing emissions It does not directly impact the air-fuel mixture or the engine's vacuum at idle or under normal throttle.
engine breathes through the air filter and intake manifold, not the ASV The ASV only handles air for emissions in the exhaust system,
air fuel mixture is controlled by the carburetor which adjusts based on the airflow and throttle position, ASV does not interfere with this process.
Disabling the ASV will not harm the engine or impact idling, as long as all blocked lines are sealed properly to prevent vacuum leaks & carburetor is tuned correctly for the intake and exhaust setup.
