That's correct Steve. The Alpha Series is from 2012 and they come with the transom built in. Prior to 2012 they were the Genisis series and they are separate. I'd highly recommend to get the newer type Alpha series Porta Bote. So much easier setting up and no reported leaks that I'm aware of Kev

Hi Colin. Great question. No, not for this. For us the boat is all about fishing so given its only a small boat the bimini would just get in the way. So we use plenty of sunscreen and cover up as best we can to protect ourselves 👍
Great lifestyle video, looking forward to a run down on it.
Yes, I'll be covering plenty more about it in upcoming episodes :)
What length is your porta-bote? Still enjoying it?
Great video guys..
Thank you :)
I notice some Porta Botes the transom folds in some it comes out. Which is better? Cheers Steve.

Have you thought shade or a Bimini top?

Looks great. Wonder how they go in crocodile infected waterway
Have a guess..
Check out videos from Free Range Living and go back to when they sailed the Top End.
Better than an inflatable boat. Crocks can't chew on a Porta boat like they can on a Rib.
