How are they going to get Desert Rat to an airport to fly. I have stopped to see the plane last year but it was Sunday & Mike was at church .How are they going to restore the wings as there is no room to work on them . Is a small building for a whole B-17. Enjoyed the report on Desert Rat

@@CAFMediaTV My local unit doesn't. Was answered at a fly-in I went to and asked my local unit and they said they didn't yet.
We know at least the Gulf Coast Wing in Houston has some virtual programs for cadets. Maybe contact them.

My guess is that they are going to transport the fuselage and the wings seprately on trucks to an airport and then finish the restoration there.
