0:53 At least is the Nintendo Switch version, you can rewind time, your save file would be screwed on the GameCube version (Well except if you already finished the game on that save file)

from memory, i thought all ports (including gamecube) does the same, it’s either that or im confusing it with the ports (wii & switch)

⁠@@baconplayspikminYou can only rewind time on the Wii and Switch versions, the GameCube version doesn’t have it, so you’re screwed if you make a mistake and save on GameCube

⁠@@baconplayspikminI was meaning about rewind days, not saving, because you can get softlocked or other worse thing and actually get screwed on the original GameCube version, in the Wii and Switch versions, you can rewind time

I've played 1 and 2 switch a lot, and it seems only pikmin 1 has a rewind function. Pressing - on a save file doesn't appear to do anything in 2. Yet I've heard time travel was in both of 1 and 2's wii and switch ports. Can someone confirm things here?

i dont think there's any bad endings in other pikmin games other than pikmin 1 and pikmin 4's olimar's shipwreck tale and game over is only in 3 if u didnt collect any fruits
