Interesting approach with the teflon spray. I had previously heard silicon spray recommended. Great video. Quick questions; Should you let the products dry between applications? Also, should you run the windows up and down with the products wet or let them dry? I’m thinking running the windows with the products wet would help get the products on the glass too.
It works good if you run them up and down while they're wet, the products will be on the very edge of the glass that you can't see so it's not an issue. Thank you for watching and asking Jack, have a great day. mad Mike the hammer SPC
i would love to see somebody actually figure out something to fix the problematic power windows on the 98-02 gm f-bodies (camaro/firebird) ...ive had several of them & they literally EAT power window motors... just on the last 2 (over 11yr span) ive changed 8 of them... the forums are full of ideals & ive tried all if them... if mine moved as fast as ur "slow" one, id be a happy guy ...i hate these weak power window motors that overheat & burn up so much id swap out for manuals if they were available (but theyre not, w/ exception of rare option for scca racing) because the manual windows in my 71 chevy have NEVER failed me, in the dark, in the dead of winter, in the rain... but enough of my "piss-poor-gm-quality" rant ...always enjoy ur videos man, thanx

Works like a charm! Sombrero tip to Julio Cesar Chavez. Now that I've done this, I know I'd like to lube the window motor as well. We have a vid for that Mike?

Didn't work in my 2000 Durango (must be the window motors). Worked amazingly on my 1999 F150!

Thank You Sir!!! 1 question, Is this safe for tinted windows?
Hello Wade, if your windows were tinted professionally, this will not affect them. Thanks for watching, have a great day my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC
Nice tip, thanks. Does it matter which one you spray on first?
Not at all Terra, either one can be used first. Thank you for watching and asking, have a great day. mad Mike the hammer SPC
@Sweet Project Car, do you recommend cleaning the window tracks first with good old “99” first?
Products purchased and ready to go. 😎
It doesn't hurt Allan! Thanks for watching and for asking a great question, have a fantastic day my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC
Great video.
Quick questions;
Should you let the products dry between applications?
No problem buddy, thanks for watching and sharing, we truly appreciate it, hope you have a great week my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC
If you could only put Ford window motors in. Had my 06 f250 4x4 super duty since new, never had to put a new window motor in, got 4, used every day.
Everybody and their Brother must follow your advice-
Amazon SOLD OUT of the repellant.
LOL, thank Hubbabubba! We use this one too amzn.to/3xCwMf9 Thanks as always for watching, it's great to hear from you my friend, hope you have a fantastic day. mad Mike the hammer SPC
Will it streak the window if you use it on the sill of the window (the horizontal bottom of window) as well? Big difference with just the sides.
Just apply as we did in the video, you can however remove your door panels and spray the inside tracks if you like, that is something we do as well. Thanks for watching, have a great day my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC
I had trouble with the links. Couldn't understand if you said what it was.. Did you use the water repellant first or the dry lube?
Kiwi then dry lube
They sold out of the repellant, but we use this one too amzn.to/3xCwMf9 This is available amzn.to/3wwxkSv Use the repellant first then the lube.
Thanks for watching and sharing Deborah, hope you have a great week my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC

I would have died if it were some super lube like Chevy Chase used on his sled in "National lampoons Xmas". And that window shot up so fast that it shattered. And you your hear the owner in the background "That's some gooooood $h!t" 🤣🤣
LOL, maybe this is what he used on his sled :) LOL that's hilarious. Thanks for watching and commenting Jesse, have a great day my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC

I drive a 2007 civic coupe and I swear my windows are even slower than yours in the "before treatment" part so I have to give this a try as it's been bugging me for years now with how insanely slow they are to open/close.

WHAT R THE names of the product u didn't show them
I thought you were going to clean, lube, and seal the mechanisms and it's joints in the door. But this is great too. When I think dry-lube, I think of only the graphite-powder used in keyholes. But this usage also makes sense.
Thank you for watching and sharing, we appreciate it my friend. Have a great day. mad Mike the hammer SPC

Same thing with my 2016 Chevrolet express Duramax diesel 1 ton..!!! Widows are horribly slowwwwwww even worse than yours before your treatment ..!!! But I have tint on them ..!!! I’ll try it hopefully it works anyhow even though they’re tinted
Mine are tinted too. Please reply back with your results. If you want to be the tint guinea pig, that is.
It doesn't affect tinted windows, it might be a good idea for you to take off your door panels and spray all of the working mechanisms and tracks with this amzn.to/3xEcLF5 Thanks for watching and sharing, have a great week my friend. mad Mike the hammer SPC
@@SweetProjectCars thanks ..!!! That’s what I was told also ..!!! Because apparently the tint can also make it go slower
So I'm confused just wd-40 and pb blaster? Or what'd u use?
Or was it the water repellent and then the dry lube after?
Here's the entire tools list:
Correct Water Repellent amzn.to/3xCKcYO
***If the above isn't available, we recommend this one amzn.to/3xCwMf9
Correct Dry Lube amzn.to/3wwxkSv

I have a 98 Jimmy, where the front passenger window goes down, but won't come back up. I removed the door panel & the 'spring' has a build up of something very similar to 'lacquer'...it tough & gummy but hard too....any suggestions what to clean it out with? I LOVE YOUR VIDS....I'VE LEARNED SO MUCH OVER THE YEARS....:-}
That's dried up lithium grease, you're going to need this amzn.to/3wIDQHd with one of these amzn.to/3FzDoiL you've got to spray it down, let it soak and hit it with the air nozzle, repeat, repeat, repeat as many times as it takes to get it clean. Then use this amzn.to/4dy7vrC Thank you for watching and asking, glad you enjoy our channel, thanks for being a great subscriber. mad Mike & team
