On this RV Life Vlog we take you with to Galveston Island Texas and show you fun things to do in Galveston Texas and they are Fun & Free! We just love Full Time RV and found the best things to do in Galveston while RV Camping in Texas at Jamaica Beach RV Resort. We hit up Galveston Texas Beach, Fort Travis Port Bolivar TX, take the Galveston ferry ride, the Bolivar Ferry and visit a Buc ees Gas Station Texas all during our RV Travels.

On the fairy over to the island it looks like a trailer that said something about diving and scuba diver did you see much for Scuba driving when you were out that way
We didn't see a lot in Galveston, but in South Padre Island yes- We met a couple that she was a diver and out go out when she could.
Its a lovely tour at Galveston Island, seem like lots of fun stuff to do. RV life seem so good when you chase the sun! Like 66 👍💖🌞

Looks like y’all found some fun things to do in Galveston. Buccees do not allow semis so you don’t ever have to worry about that. Yep, can’t believe they checked you car before going on the ferry. We haven’t been to Galveston in so long. Definitely need to go back. Joel- you did some great observing. 😂😂. I’m surprised they let you get out of your car on the ferry. So many of them they make you stay in your car. Bill and I played miniature golf in Conroe. He beat me, but it was fun. Loved the tortoises. 😂 Love a good walking tour. So many really cool homes, churches and architecture there. Lefty seemed nice. 😂😂😂
Buck-ees are the best 👍 We are thinking the out of States plates got us searched or Maya looked sketchy 😂 But those tortoises were cool & can't believe we didn't get Deb's hole on one on film- but Joel does make the best friends and lefty is nice 😂

Glad you enjoyed my hometown! The island has a lot to offer and is very rich in history that dates waaaaaaay back. The state run Galveston-Bolivar Ferry system has always been a great tourist spot, along with the Strand Historic district and a few other areas. Glad you enjoyed your time on our cozy little island😉.

All great ideas. We have never been to a Buckee's but I guess it's "a thing" for sure. Farmers Markets are always on our list of things as we travel around, love them!! Thanks for sharing.

Love the campground you're staying in. Maya looked so snug and comfortable on Joel's chair. 😀 We've never been to a buc-ee's. I noticed lost of teal buildings when you left the farmers market. lol we're scheduled to take our first ferry ride with our trailer this summer to put-in-bay. That's great that your ride was free. Too bad the weather didn't fully cooperate. Those turtles were awesome!

Free is the best. Galveston is now on our to do list. That mini golf looks fun and challenging. Don't think that hole should be a par 2 with that spin though.

We have never been to Galveston. We're seriously thinking of wintering in Texas next year. It looks less crowded than Florida. So glad Joel's making friends lol Lynn and Danny
Texas is nice to winter in- but it’s a roller coaster with the weather- 80s & 70s and then 2-3 days 40s & windy- but we are trying to figure out what we want to do next winter to as everywhere we call for Florida is booked already- Joel is such good friends with old lefty now 😂- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
@@ChasingOurSunshine we have discovered that Florida is so busy and crowded in the winter. The park we are currently in has people so packed in. The struggle is real!

We didn't get to make it to Galveston this time! We love to play miniature golf, however, we have never done the spin around the golf club thing, LOL 🤣So how many times did Maya have to get a bath, LOL 🤣~ Shion and Matthew
Galveston is really nice and put it on your list for next time your back in Texas. The mini-golf was alot of fun and didn't put it in the video but had to play a hole with eyes closed and with club behind your back. Maya got a lot of baths while we were there 😂 Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

When we went on the ferry they didn't search our vehicle. Must have thought you were shady!

That looks like a great place to spend the winter 🥶. Do you find it hard to find a campgrounds to stay in 🍺🍷
This was a great area to stay and enjoyed it! We booked Jamaica Beach RV Resort 9 months out and stayed there a month. But heard you need to be booking things now a year in advance.
