Being happy for Reagan finding happiness in her relationship with Ron while simultaneously disliking him is EXACTLY how I secretly felt watching the show - I felt like I was in denial right up until she gave him and the simple life up in the finale, at which point I felt sad for her but personally relieved lmao. And my brother always commented on how they were basically the same person, which kinda made me dislike the relationship more 😂 They just don't balance or complement each other in a way that's compelling to me, but I did like what he brought to the show as a character and more importantly what he did for Reagan's character arc. After watching her messed parental relationships make her miserable, I was happy she found a source of stable affection albeit from an unstable guy. They'll be better off going their separate ways, but it was still important for both of them. She helped him escape his awful job like he wanted, and he helped her learn to see herself as lovable like she needed. It was a good ending. Shame we'll never know what happened next 😔
That intro is sad even if it’s a joke. Because clearly your incredibly smart despite not being a doctor and I hope it was more joke than serious and that they value you and your intelligence just as you are
They definitely support me, but the problem with being a smart kid from a small Southern household is that my folks hoped my talents would translate to a more lucrative, linear career. I'm a writer at my core, and this channel has given me a place to express myself -- that's worth more than any paycheck to me. Thank you as always for your wonderfully kind comments :)
