    The fact that’s it’s setting those lap times alone while it’s still going through it’s shakedown is impressive as hell. If it wasn’t for the power cuts you would’ve had the mustang easily

    • @JackieDing86
      @JackieDing86  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It would've been close, but the car had potential to fight for an overall class win. But, of course, reliability was part of the competition and ours didn't last!

    With fwd understeer, sometimes all you need is a weight shift to get more traction forward. So a light tap on the brakes while keeping the accelerator steady can save you a lot of slip. But that is typical on a long fast sweeper right at the limit. It seems so wrong, but it is a great trick to keep you right on the edge

    Love the fact, the owner wants to prove a point. You don’t need an Si, just deep pockets and aero in a FWD will work.
    Good Job.

    Finally got home from school (^ - ^;) I've been looking forward to this video, and it was worth the grueling 7 hours of school.
    I feel like this car's just a tad bit shy; it's inexperienced and it needs to build confidence, but when it does have its guts, (and Mr. Full Sen-Ding at the wheel) it's gonna be fast as hell.

    Jackie I'm enjoying the show! Love seeing you and the the S2k going out and punching way above your weight class. I grew up on 510's so I understand low hp/ great handling dynamics. What got me watching your channel was our battle with a Type R last year; I was wondering how you might actually fare at the wheel of one... You're a quick learner and were obviously getting faster with every lap. It's too bad that CTR wasn't up to the task and failed you. Hopefully this experience doesn't taint your opinion of the FK8. I have one and absolutely love it. GL!

      I take most of the responsibility for this one, if we had known more about the Si/Sport engine differences we would've ordered the right fuel line before swapping over.
      Will be fixed before next outing though, with more seat time and new tires we are definitely looking at 22's, I can't wait!

    • @JackieDing86

    While still getting used to going from RWD to FWD, trying to compete and shake the car down for everything else to make it better? A constantly random shutdown of power when you need it most has got to be one of the most infuriating things ever.
