COMPONENTS - The organizer in the box is solid, and the components are all fine. There are some superfluous elements, like a map of the city, but some players will enjoy them. 0:00 - Introduction 0:30 - Value 1:11 - Character Goals 2:01 - Batman Theme 3:03 - Mystery 3:37 - Investigation Mechanics 4:27 - Final Thoughts
The silliest thing is that he is also a journalist. They have: Criminal (catwoman) Crooked cop (bullock) Journalist (Vicki vale) …also journalist I would have liked at least a different type of character!!
@@OneStopCoopShop Who knows. Could be IP restrictions, lacking good side characters (though if they could get catwoman, couldn't they get robin/whatever?) Still, it was my favorite line and delivery of the review. I don't think these games are for me, but happy to see a return to form (more or less) for those who enjoy it!
I've only played prologue of that (and both Detective plus season 1) and it's hard pass for me. I love Batman theme and I feel none of it here. Better to get season 3 of Gotham City Chronicles with coop and solo rules :) Also I'm not a fan of this system, I feel there is no real deduction work, just guessing and hoping to get the right card instead of some red herring. Worst detective type board game I've played. Don't like writing in those and comic strips in this one also seemed unnecessary. Same as roles, maybe they get better in later episodes but in prologue it was just silly.

It's Ty Prytor the nosy hack of the Gotham Gazette.
(I may or may not have made that up as a terrible pun for the groanz)
My body and mind are melting

I didn’t bounce off it as hard as you, but can’t argue with your points ;)
Though that doesn’t mean I’m going to go spend $100s on GCC!
