- Mr Freeze is Batman's Saddest Villain
Growing up, Mr Freeze would get in trouble for freezing living creatures. When asked why he was doing this, he says that he wants them to stay safe forever. His Doctor tries to explain to his parents that he’s under such stress to live up to their expectations that he feels helpless and this act gives him a sense of control. Going against the doctor's advice, Victor's father decides to keep him so busy that he wouldn't have time to freeze anything.
But when his dad catches him freezing his pet rat, he beats him and sends him off to boarding school, where he is constantly mistreated. When his parents never came to pick him up for the holidays, he knew then that he was destined to live a life outside of humanity. Until he met Nora. For the first time in his life, he was happy. A year later, they got married. However, Freeze tried to control everything in their relationship. If Norah spent time with friends, he'd become jealous. She would invite him to join them but he was such a workaholic he didn’t want to go out.
Less than a year later, Norah becomes terminally ill. Unable to accept the hand he was dealt, he sneaks Nora into his lab and puts her into an experimental cryogenic chamber. When his boss finds out, he orders it shut down. Freeze begs him to keep his wife alive, but he refuses. Victor then steals an officer's gun and accidentally shoots the coolant tanks, freezing the entire lab.

Mr Freeze from Batman: The Animated Series is the best Mr Freeze
Arkham mr freeze is also pretty sick
Both great imo!
Yes. It would move me to tears, if I had tears to shed.
That's because it's much closer to the real origin
I've always been a fan of Mr. Freeze. He's just really cool (no pun intended of course) so seeing more of his backstory before he became what he was is pretty neat
Nice, I'm glad you liked it! He's often brought up as the saddest character so this one has been on my list for a while now.
Hes a chill dude
villains aren't born they're created along the way.
Absolutely!
Y’all remember when they tried to reboot Freeze’s backstory in the new 52? Where Nora was just some lady who was frozen and Fries, grew obsessed with her for no apparent reason, call her (a woman who been frozen long enough to be his grandma) his “wife”. Batman tried to stop Victor, he accidentally shot the coolant himself and turn into Mr. Freeze. What a horrible time it was
Mr freeze: broken villain
Broken man
Broken child...
💯
Damn…this comic triple downs on Mr. Freeze’s tragic reasons for being a villain
His whole life was a topsy turvy mess 😢
😢 💯
This version of his backstory is bs. He was so much more of a well rounded, and wounded villian before they made him into a sociopath before he became freeze.
Yea it's an interesting version of his backstory
I didn't even know he had bad parents ;w; poor fella never catching a break
of course him being controlling is wrong, but that doesn't really lessen the fact that the only love of his life got sick and he's desperately trying to save her :'(
Right!
New DC comics just ruin thr best characters dude, freis didnt deserve this trash storyline
??
I'm not sure what you mean.
@@RealQuickComics I feel like they added a little too much to his backstory
Wow...😮
❤️❤️
I don’t like this version of Mr. Freeze
This is a great version lol
Is there another version?
I had no clue 😢
❤️❤️
