Over the last 2-3 days I've built my own custom Gundam (purpose built, as opposed to just getting parts/weapons I like) and have been synthesizing abilities onto each part. I've been trying make sure I raise abilities that synergize with the build, though some I wasn't too sure about. When doing my head, I did notice that Reaction Speed was an exclusive ability, and I did put it on, but I didn't actually understand it until now. Thank you!
Do note atm Reaction Speed is a double edged sword (most likely an oversight), I don't think you mentioned it in the video, apologies if you did. If you like using concentrated beam weapons/EXs like the Twin Buster Rifle's held beam and also like melee, do not go above the maxed head + level of Reaction Speed Performance you're comfortable with. The reason being while you will swing faster, your beam will also have a faster animation but with no change to tick damage speed so you'll actually do LESS damage with them with the higher Reaction Speed.
You mentioned that higher rarity parts have higher base specs, which of course makes sense. But i have a question about that. Do parts that you increase the rarity on yourself also get those higher base specs? Or is it better to find one that's naturally higher rarity and just synth the abilities you want onto them?
i lucked out it seems i put these on my melee/machine gun build i think tomorrow i'mma nose to the grind stone capping out abilities and levels now that i have all this information I really lucked out i only need to replace one ability, and change my awaken type it seems and potentially play with c-funnels otherwise my build is golden for what i designed it to do all around normally i have to make massive changes to my builds in games it only took me 30 years to git gud xD
Hello! Really loving your videos on explaining the technical aspects of the game. I wanted to ask this (and I have been lurking on the subreddit for hours, but I seemed to have not found anything yet) how do you really upgrade your abilities to max level? Synthesizing multiple parts to your main part does not upgrade the abilities at all (unlike in gb3 where you can put all parts and upgrade all applicable abilities). What I have found is that you want to find only one part that has the specific ability (with higher level) and that will replace the ability/upgrade. I tried to merge specific abilities with lower levels, but they don't seem to increase the stats. I would like to know if you have any ideas for this!
Gauge capacity, cost and recharge are all very important to making sure your primary weapons are always up between Skill uses. Nothing feels worse than getting off a few shots with your gun/guns then having to wait 20s
I usually have Passive HP Regen, Hp from attacks and Item drop quality. Anything else is a bonus. These keep me going so I can basically ignore my machine's HP and just cut loose. It isn't meta but I am doing way better than my friend who is using none of these. In our first large boss fight against a Master grade RX78. He went down 3 times meanwhile I was using a custom Master Gundam just going "Burr" at the things head. My usual rule is "When in doubt HP Regen is never a bad thing"
Thanks for the info. Is there anything that affects the damage of skills? I feel like the OP skills especially are often weaker / worse than just using my weapons. Tried using the jesta cannon backpack and both guns felt extremely underwhelming.
Yes! Skills are fed directly from your AVERAGE level/power of your handheld weapons. So if you have two weapons of unequal level they will never be as strong as one good weapon for skill scaling
@@theothermc I was thinking it is when you press and hold with a melee, since in Gundam SD Capsule they translated 乱舞 to wild dance as well. As well as Gundam Breaker 2 乱舞 was when you held Triangle with Super Lacerta or Naginata
They really need to work on a better description of what each abilities do. For example awakening abilities description is pretty much "improved awakening", wow no shit sherlock. EX gauge when parts lost, is that enemy's parts lost or your own? Doesn't make sense to me if it only applies to your parts.

You're the best, bud. I was gonna test these today but you already got me covered! Thanks a ton.
I was trying to find what stat did attack speed. This is so helpful!
Which one do the attack speed ?
Breakers work as usual
Love the guides🤩 keep them coming

godtier man, thanks
I so hate when source of my suffering is because the devs made blunder,
like angry at God "why?!"
its crazy that the gun bug is still in the game, I've been so on the fence on buying this game
@TheOtherMC do traits of the same type slapped on a part stack?

I need help on understanding the “flinch” related

Cool guides. If i want to focus on ranged which are the best abilities under specs should i look out for on parts?

Thankss! @@theothermc
Can you test something and make a video of this topic because I think it's bugged . the cooldowns for op skills are not reducing the cooldowns at all
Would you be able to create a guide one what the most useful part abilities are? There are so many and it seems like some might be a bit of a trap.
Working on sorting that in my brain. Honestly they’re all kinda useful bar a few

Hp for hit and machine guns are the perfect marriage. Take you from the danger zone to full health in a flash
It works really well with melee weapons too since they have high attack speed.
so close range effects the melee labeled weapon (such as claws and martial arts), I thought the only buff for it was melee good to know.
melee is for fists I think
@@defmore5099 yeah they are, but if I understand correctly they will still get the close range bonus
are all the booster effects like HADES, NT-D and trans am simply a speed boost for 3? They used to have different effects in the previous game
they also boost damage

How do you air dodge?
Unlock air dodge via ability modules then just dodge in the air!

What is Wild Dance?
Frickin been trying to find that out for DAYS. I feel like I’m close to narrowing it down

Basically the gundam do some breakdancing moves like raygun from Australia in the olympics and it does 999999 cringe damage to all enemies.
