Hiromi always has so much passion and makes it look effortless. More terrifying than adorable, especially when you realize how hard it is to do what she does. 💯😂
I got to see Hiromi years ago and she had an open back dress on, and her back muscles were INSANE. It quickly became very clear how she got such a huge sound as you saw those muscles project pure surgical force through her arms and hands.
I wouldn't say this really sounds "cute" (it's not remotely the sound that comes to mind when someone says that...) but... good lord the skill required to play this that well. Anyone that's never played piano seriously would never understand the insane dexterity AND focus required to pull this off. The fact that the fast sections aren't just clean repeats is insane. It's not just being able to move your fingers that fast, it's also remembering what order to do which note increments in. This is a certified A+ job.

Still not as good as, "fill so clean you can eat off it," from the Nyangostar video haha
Yes, music transcriptions here do tend to have a large number of notes.
+@@GeorgeCollier you're speaking my language. Divinity is in the details.

She looks to be having as much fun on that piano as animators think pianists do.
I mean why not? The rhythm is just soo gooddd

I never thought I’d see a piano evolve a person-shaped organ. It’s the only explanation for this kind of perfection: the piano is playing itself!
Congratulations, piano!
i love hiromi! from her crazy talent to her crazy hair and the crazy faces she makes
There is a piano goddess, and her name is Hiromi. Seeing her play always fills me with joy.
Incidentally, she has a song titled Joy.
