Scrub the magazine rack real good it could be white mold on the bottom. I think I would leave the dollar tree plant holder like you found it. The colors look natural wood to me. Look forward to seeing the rooms fully decorated. Have fun.

Yes, candelabra is a Menorah with a missing arm which would hold two additional candles, for a total of seven. The number seven means perfection.

Love the magazine rack and how you would use it between the chairs, one side for you and one for your husband. I also love the color scheme and natural vibe you are going for, it will be such a calming space I think.

Loved your finds Kieran! I remember most of those things from when I was growing up in the 70's. We had the paper plate holders, my grandma had a real split leaf philodendron plant and my doctor's office had that magazine rack!!! Everything old is new again~ Enjoy your collecting and decorating your new spaces!! 🌹 Joan

So jealous that you found some amber glass - I always keep an eye out for that while thrifting (great for making DIY cleaning supplies). Also that plant looks a lot like the fiddly fig, or fiddle leaf fig, that I have. Great finds! Can't wait to see the new spaces all come together.

The brown jars look like medicine jars from our farm veterinarian. They contained something for the cattle. Either the stuff for shipping fever or the antibiotics that were injected. I have not lived on the farm in a while but I do remember those bottles sitting in our refrigerator. Be careful the caps still could have residue. Then they could be decorative reproductions. If I could see the bottoms, I could tell more about them. The candle holder is a Menorah missing a branch.

Darlin great finds I would invest in a good beautiful big pot for the plant, you have a brand new space you deserve it. You can clean the leaves to make them shine with a paper towel and a little bit of coconut oil, back in the day they cleaned the dust off with a little mayo.... As for the book case WHAT A STEAL! It would also look nice with a throw on each side. Great job!

  • @shelleylondry8959

The bottle are actually called Amber, not brown. They are made that was to protect the contents from the sunlight! Great finds this haul! The candle holder is actually a Jewish candle holder and it’s missing a complete set of holders and it appears to be Brass! A very nice find too! The Vintage wooden rack will look good cleaned up and some wax added to it to shine it up, it’s not an Antique! A true Antique is 100 years old (I collect Antiques) none the less, such an Awesome find and worth much more than $7! 😃

The brown jars look like medicine jars from the pharmacy. I could be wrong but I'd wash them extra good before using them. But I Love them I just love small unique jars etc.
Get some "Murphy's oil soap" to wash the wood book shelf it's the best. You should be able to find it in the laundry isle.
