I LOVE the porch for filming! Hearing the birds was so nice and homey feeling. I am a huge fan of all your "old school teacher clothes" so the vest is my FAVORITE! I'm almost 33 and always said if I was a teacher I'd totally dress like teachers did when I was a kid. So fun!

Love the basket!!! I have a few large sized baskets. I like to use them to store scraps of yarn or projects I'm working on. Definitely love to use them in my craft room. I'm not sure what I would put on the shelves though but I definitely would have gotten them too. Baskets & shelves are two of my favorite things to pick up at thrift stores because, well, you just never know when you can use them. You may not think of a use for them today but tomorrow could be a whole different story. Thanks for sharing your haul. I'm gonna have to check & see if our thrift store is open yet.
Love the filming location! I absolutely love the heathered gray top with the open back! For the stains, I always use Fels Naptha bar soap...wet the stain, rub the soap on the stain until it gets covered with a thick layer of soap, then let it sit for a few hours. Then just toss it in the wash using the hottest water allowed for your fabric. I’ve used this to get chicken fat out of polyester...works like a dream!

Love the porch venue! Maybe a Boston Fern, to add a pop of color? They always looks so beautiful on porches. After you've tried the other suggestions for getting that yellow stain out of the RL top, try soaking it in hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes? Don't let it set too long, because it can weaken the fabric! If it doesn't work within a few minutes, just rinse it clean and try a different approach : )
Great location , you looked like you were really enjoying the nice weather. What a great shopping trip you had. I saw some things I'd have gotten. That would be different, thrift shopping LONG DISTANCE. LOL The basket was amazing. I'd put a throw in it and set the basket next to where you sit on the sofa. All the clothes were great. The shelves were really nice. I'd put them in the living room and put some small nic nacs on them. So you did really well on this shop/haul. Wish my town had more thrift stores. Goodwill is great but there is only one. Take care
I think the vest was a fabric panel you cut out and sewed together. My aunts were elementary school teachers and I was the only granddaughter, my grandmother made us those vests for just about every holiday. I love watching your thrift store finds. Have a great summer.
If you put baking soda then spray with vinegar let it set for 20 mins then pour persil on it let that set for 10 mins, wash with persil & the stain will come out. I really liked you being outside
The basket is a nice basket. I would not paint it. It would make a nice basket for dog toys for shoes or slippers for magazines or any type of extra storage.
Hi! If the stains don't come off. (try baking soda or hydrogen peroxide) you can do some embroidery on the spot or use an iron on cute patch! Blessings!
Please don’t use that gorgeous basket on the porch it’ll totally get ruined from the weather that just screams to be inside with something cool piled inside of it maybe inside next to a reading chair or something? It’s just too pretty to waste though it’s got the best shape. Lucky find!
I'm with you on that opinion. That is a gorgeous basket and it would be criminal to put it on the porch. It would be such a waste. I can see so many "seasonal" uses for that basket, simply changing it up thru the year. But, her basket and she will how she wants she will.
If you don’t know or use Method stain remover that is AMAZING !! I have gotten old stains out of clothing most important is Do not dry them if the stain didn’t come just reapply the stain remover again it should get the stain out

I have found a fantastic product for getting tough stains out...it is called de-solv-it for laundry. It has a citrus base so you may want to wash the item out in the sink before putting it with other clothes because it leaves a slight citrus smell. It is amazing at getting old stains out. I have found it at wal-mart and I'm pretty sure amazon has it. Have a great day!!
Hello you can use some awesome to get old stains out spray on and let set before you wash and you can get it from dollar tree or 99 cent store or Dollar General it in a clear bottle .
Great haul...tfs. Definitely a weird feeling to be out and about but as long as we have masks on and stay 6 ft apart we should be ok. You seem a bit down in this video I hope everything is ok.
For stain remover, if you go in the laundry aisle there is this green deodorant looking stick I forget the brand name but it literally looks like a green stick of deodorant, you rub it on the stain let it sit and then wash it. It’s the best stain remover I found it even takes out old oil stains. It’s a few dollars totally worth it if you can find it!
Also since it’s a yellow stain on a mostly white shirt maybe try Clorox Penn the bleach will take the stain out in the pen will make it so that you can control the bleach and not hit the Navy parts of the shirt. Good luck it’s super cute.

Make sure you have a stud finder to locate the wall studs before you hang up the white shelves, and use strong nails to hang them with. The shelves would be pretty in your dining room for holiday/seasonal decor . I would use that pretty basket to hold artificial flowers and cinnamon pine cones for Fall and Winter on your porch or inside your home. tfs 💗💗💗

Yes! Porch blankets for cool temps, could hold porch pillows too. Maybe pen and paper, book....

Try soaking the stained tops separately in Oxyclean for a couple of days. It seems to work well for me!

Actually tuff stains get out with platinum dawn dish soap. Just spot treat it and throw it in the wash.
Basket I’d use for dirty linen in my bedroom or when tidying up , use as basket to re locate things to other rooms

For the stain try soaking in warm with borax for a day or two, then wash as regular.
You really don't have to hang those shelves up if you don't want. I love your halloween vase
