That treasure troll, though...Sends me back to my childhood days of neon shirts, stirrup pants, and terrible permed hairstyles. I had a huge collection of them but they vanished into the mists of time (along with all the socks the dryer eats) when I put them in storage in my parent's basement after I moved out during college. The new ones just don't have the same charm as the OG ones for me though so I'm thrilled you found that vintage one still in the box. Sidenote-I used to have the storybook that explains how Treasure Trolls get their gems and a year ago, I found it at a thrift store I had to get it because it brought me right back to my childhood.
I love the mice...I am always on the lookout for mice things, too. I taught in a classroom for years with no mice problems, and then I changed grade levels and rooms and the teacher who got my room was scared to death of mice....and that year they started coming in around bricks somewhere. Right in that room! Her birthdate is close to mine and for years now I have given her mice gifts!!! SOO much fun...and I look for cards with mice, too. (you would be surprised how many you can find!) You made a great haul this trip!
Great finds!! I love finding vintage items at thrift stores and garage sales. I collect vintage fisher price little people sets. I recently saw a vintage fisher price little people school bus original box at a yard sale filled with Christmas ornaments. I own the school bus but I didn't have the box for it. So I asked the woman if I could please buy just the box not the ornaments. She ended up just giving me the box and making my day. So I totally get the excitement you feel when you find a vintage item still in the box. 😊
I ve recently replaced all my mugs with new ones they are different sizes but are white with a pink pattern on be it flowers, love hearts even one that says love in pink I have them on a tree mug , great haul love the troll ! 😀
I have been sewing since I was 11 (60 years). I have several of those craft patterns, and never had the patience to do any of them! I' was always a perfectionist and knew that they would be too tedious...Good luck!
Great finds. The Pyrex lidded containers were such a great deal. I have some Pyrex bowls with lids and the lids are cracking and to just replace the lids would cost $10. So awesome find. Thanks for sharing. ❤️Blessings.

Any smurfs I was crazy about. To this day, I have a smurf drinking glass, that I keep in my bedroom with smurfs figures in it lol. I was also crazy about California raisins. Now I love tea cups. I found a book tea cup and saucer on ebay but I was outbid on it. I really hope you open your eBay store.
You might be able to wipe off the 1996 from the heart of the mice ornament. Ebay is pretty easy to do. I think you would do well at it. You are a smart woman, heck smarter then me I feel 🤭 😳 so you would figure it out pretty quick. 🤗 haha the troll
I have my original "troll" from the 1960s. Back then they were called wishnicks :) For coffee cups I like plain solid white, and have a set of 6 very large round ceramic ones from the dollar store :) They go great with my white every day dishes. I love how it all looks in my cupboard :) tfs 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
