I am happy for you, Brenda, to have the Heybike to get around. It sounds like it has just the right features for the way you will use it. Perfect! Skip seems to be able to keep up with the bike, fast runner, isn’t he?
Yay, you're finally getting to use your bike...how fun! Earl and Baron look so beautiful together! Holy cow, Skippy runs SO fast! And hello, beautiful Ken...I miss brushing that big boy. 🙂
I’m glad you got a E-Bike Mrs. Brenda!! Give that knee time to heal up!! It’s always enjoyable watching Jim work his teams…… us city folk ( wanna be team drivers ) live the life through you guys!
PG here. Love you both and all the animals. We traveled to Northern and Central Ohio 3 or 4 times since September to Amish country. I was stunned just like in this video when I saw women and children using motorized bikes. To get anywhere, they have to go up huge hills and miles to get anywhere! Yet the Lord has called me to get horses for transportation. We took a 3,000-mile bicycle trip through America, camping and carrying gear on the back using saddlebags, in 2003... We are watching your show and traveling to the Amish, actually Mennonites, to learn the right way of doing things using horses. We are done with the industrial revolution and modern machinery. God always has a remnant. As some come out of the old-fashioned ways of doing things, others are going back to it! I have also been walking up and down hills every day to get my strength and health back that the machines stole.
I'd been thinking Brenda needed an Icelandic Pony to run around on, but she got an easy keeper instead. One of those bikes would be perfect for me, but apartment life on the second floor and the thought of battery fire keep me from purchasing. At least you can park yours in the kiln room for winter.
I don't know if it is possible for one to remove the batteries from the bike, to take it inside and charge it under supervision or an outside shed charger for that kind of safety.
\Hey Jim and Brenda , congrats on your new E Bike it looks like quite handy run about . Duke and Earl look really sharp going down the road hauling a load of firewood home.
I also have an electric bike! And it was one of the best purchases I ever made. Hills are no longer a problem and the battery will give up to 45 miles on flat highway conditions.
Brenda the first thought i had when you were on your new bike was... WHERE'S YOUR HELMET...Love watching you and Jim working on your farm and of course your beautiful horses ! 😊
Glad you got a bike. It must be helpful for your leg that was bothering you. So Skip is running at around 10 miles per hour. Love the horses and the beautiful scenery.
Good mourning! Gr8 new fangled bike Brenda. Youre are getting pushed into the 21st century. Hahaha 😅 Still love the horses most tho.! 😅 you get gr8 videoing done this way too.! Skippy gets a good work out too. Hi Ken, hes so shy. Awe ya ended so quickly😢. Hope you have good days to come. God bless yall
Brenda, that Heybike is perfect for you! You won't have to run along side of Jim while he's driving the team. It looks like it's a lot of fun and easy to drive. I can see how that could work for me, as a senior citizen. It sure would save on gas money. :) 😃
The e;ectric bike is perfect for you Brenda. So happy you are enjoying it. I love it too. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I needed one. If my circumstances change ....and I remember this brand and buy it through your link. Sure hope HeyBike sells alot of them. They look like really gooid quality.
🧐 Noticed the melding old/ new Working Horses With Jim in this and other shows, Brenda has great editing talent, horses 🐎 always look 👀 good, weather much like Great Lakes area South of Chicago very mild for this season, snow, cold, rain, just around the corner 👍👋
Just be careful where you charge the thing, there have been many e-bike fires. Glad to see you out and about, we missed you. Skippy is going to be sleeping very well in future. Our Labrador was like that. We'd kick her out of the truck at the entrance to the farm, and she would try to keep up all the way down the farm road. I'd only be able to get ahead of her around 28 mph, and I'd get just ahead of her and pace her so she would try to keep up. She would sleep from the time we got home from taking care of the horses until the next morning. It wore her out, but she loved it. A tired dog is a happy dog.
What a very lovely opening with the horses, nice and clear too.Nice bike Brenda,it can really move.A lot of people use these bikes over hear in the uk.Sending love and best wishes dear friends ❤
awwwwwwwwwwww love your E bike I have a E fat trike, love it love it ,the battery last longer when we self assist, love the sound of yours, what a great video two strong brothers working together,
I smiled all the way thru your video,,I am so happy you got the bike...This is going to be a new filming experience for you and us. lov from south alabama...Making filming fun again in a different way. How is ladies pregnancy going?
HI JIM & BRENDA....❤.HAPPY THANKSGIVING, THIS WEEK & ALL YEAR LONG!!❤ Brenda, your new toy-"work horse" is perfect for the video work you do filming Jim & the horses doing their chores. Makes life a whole bunch easier! Good to see Ken & Lady again enjoying life, as they should!! Is Lady's 3rd baby due in & around May like Bree & June? Looking forward to a new horse & cow baby (Pansy)in the spring. The Suffolks' look good....didn't see Bill though.....hope he's ok & being his ornery self....which is ok because he is a fantistic work horse!! Thanks for sharing your adventures as I enjoy them all....God bless....😊❤😮❤😊
Brenda, this bike is so cool!! You'll get lots of use out of it. And it must be quiet since I didn't hear any motor! Perfect! It's a pretty blue, too!! 😊 so glad you got such a nice bike!! 💕
We live coastal North Carolina. Weekend after Thanksgiving we wre going to get few days of true fall like weather. My daughter lives 120 miles inland and she will be getting some winter weather. I want to brag about the 2025 calendar we received last week. The pictures are awesome 😊
Thanks for the great video Brenda love watching Jim driving the horses always makes my day better when I get to share some of my day watching your videos❤love that bike it’s amazing you will get plenty of fun riding that lol goes along pretty good to I say enjoy the rest of your thanksgiving weekend hope to see more great videos ❤
Go Brenda! The bike will add a whole new dimension. I think Skip was minding it while you said g'day to Ken and Lady. Duke and Earl enjoyed the roadwork, maybe they'll make a nice team. Duke seems to have settled a bit. Wondering if it will be Ken coaching them in the woods this winter? Greetings from Australia.
Next time you go to a run, like you did a while back, you need to take Skip along. I'm sure he would love it. Be careful on your new bike, 28 mph could cause some pretty serious road rash. So could 10 for that matter. Another interesting video, thank you.
E-bikes appear to be the latest rage. As I get older, I'm leaning toward a Dutch bike, a step through or women's bike here in the States. Europeans in general and the Dutch have it right. Much easier to climb aboard than our traditional road or mtb's. Glad to see Brenda using one and having a load of fun. 28 mph is fast enough and you always have the option of pedal power!
Gorgeous horses, cool video, fun, new bike, and we got to see Kenny and Lady too! I would chime in on the helmet comment also. I see quite a few other people have said the same thing.
So I see a few comments are encouraging Brenda to use a helmet. That was my idea too. However it will ALSO prove to be helpful in your filming, Brenda. You can purchase a bike helmet that has an atttachent for your camera on top. It would take some “getting used to” - but may prove to be very handy. Especially riding in the rougher wooded areas. It would be worth looking into - and save your “noggin” in a mishap. You have horses, traffic, and Skippy moving around you. Lots to deal with. It was a lovely fun video to watch. And that team - is - beautiful - as many others already stated.
very useful bike,,and pretty,,any other colors? "hey Kenny,,got anything to say? " hahahaha and Skippy seems to be doing good, but not to cross in front of mama...
"PPE". Helmet a must which we use on our E-Bikes also. Please protect yourself Brenda I know how fun it is be safe. Maybe a LOGO if yours on bike and helmet? Have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🍽️
Just an observation. Tell Jim when he's loading with the excavator to have the blade at the front. This will help to stop the rear rising up when he lifts a load. Take care. And God bless.
Now Brenda can go out and pick up rocks by herself with the new e-bike. If it holds 440 lbs., she should be able to get around 350 lbs. of rocks in it. Skippy got a new toy also,.....the e-bike goes faster than the horses, so he gets more of a workout running with the e-bike.
Thanks HeyBike for sponsoring this video!! Use code JIMANDBRENDA for special savings at www.heybike.com/?ref=WORKINGHORSESWITHJIM
The leader of the pack must wear a helmet 😂❤❤❤ That is a beautiful bike.
Helmets are a must. These things go much faster than one would expect. That and Skippy running around. Not something I would want to see.
That dog sure can run. Lol have fun with your new toy
That bkie is a great idea. A helmut is a must!
Lol, just like a kid with a new toy. Lol enjoy yourself Miss Brenda, so nice to see you and Jim out and about.
Skippy sure was having fun. That dog was born to run.
Skip can sure move fast and the horses look and work well together. Thanks for the video.
I like the way these horses are riding, you’d think they were dancing.
Nice bike and beautiful looking team of horses
Have come to really enjoy the teamwork of the draft horses. Skippy seemed to enjoy the e-bike.
I am happy for you, Brenda, to have the Heybike to get around. It sounds like it has just the right features for the way you will use it. Perfect! Skip seems to be able to keep up with the bike, fast runner, isn’t he?
Nice electric bike, Brenda will put it to good use on their farm👍☺️
Yay, you're finally getting to use your bike...how fun! Earl and Baron look so beautiful together! Holy cow, Skippy runs SO fast! And hello, beautiful Ken...I miss brushing that big boy. 🙂
Way to go Brenda, you deserve that bike, save yourself some steps for a change.
I'm sure you'll love it.
I’m glad you got a E-Bike Mrs. Brenda!! Give that knee time to heal up!! It’s always enjoyable watching Jim work his teams…… us city folk ( wanna be team drivers ) live the life through you guys!
Finally, I suggested an E bike a couple of years ago, well deserved. Happy for you
Great to see all the great shots of the horses working. Closeups are best. My favourite aspect of this channel.
I am soooo happy for you Brenda! That’s the perfect solution for you to get ahead or behind and be comfortable at the same time. Bravo!
Jim is a tricksters. Earl and Baron in title .Brenda says Duke and Earl in video . WHWJ great fun , never know what's happening next .😊😊😊

Jim that is one beautiful team.
My husband and I just got E bikes. We are in our 60s and they are great.
It was such a beautiful video we enjoyed every minute of it,great bike Brenda.
I'd been thinking Brenda needed an Icelandic Pony to run around on, but she got an easy keeper instead. One of those bikes would be perfect for me, but apartment life on the second floor and the thought of battery fire keep me from purchasing. At least you can park yours in the kiln room for winter.
An icelandic horse would be pretty great. I was thinking an older quarter horse or something, but wheels are great too!
I don't know if it is possible for one to remove the batteries from the bike, to take it inside and charge it under supervision or an outside shed charger for that kind of safety.
@@HensOnly The protocols for the batteries are impossible for cold climate apartment dwellers.
A fjord horse probably keeps easier.
I know people using their fjords for field work that can only graze them 5 hours or they will get fat! 😊
@gregholl5011 The bike is the easiest keeper.
I think Brenda likes her bike. So fun to see her enjoying it!
I'm glad to see you finally got a bike that you can keep up with hence my favorite color too
Nice bike, Brenda!!
If you are like me, you will love the mobility and quiet of these bikes.
\Hey Jim and Brenda , congrats on your new E Bike it looks like quite handy run about . Duke and Earl look really sharp going down the road hauling a load of firewood home.
That Skippy is quite the go getter 😊
I also have an electric bike! And it was one of the best purchases I ever made. Hills are no longer a problem and the battery will give up to 45 miles on flat highway conditions.
Brenda the first thought i had when you were on your new bike was... WHERE'S YOUR HELMET...Love watching you and Jim working on your farm and of course your beautiful horses ! 😊
Nice bike Brenda, now you and Jim can race 😅. That Skippy is quite the athlete. Great video. Happy Thanksgiving to you all. ❤
Duke and earl are such good looking horses Brenda I love them ❤
I see Brenda has some fun!😊
Yeah, Brenda! 👍🤟
Glad you got a bike. It must be helpful for your leg that was bothering you. So Skip is running at around 10 miles per hour. Love the horses and the beautiful scenery.

Great looking bike, Brenda! How much fun!
Suffolk Punch horses sure are pretty! They are a nice team! Love your new Heybike Brenda! Skippy is such a fast runner!
I’ll bet Skippy sleeps really well. He certainly gets enough exercise.
The fear that one of the pair was showing toward the excavator a few weeks ago seems to have calmed down a lot. good thing.
Really Nice bike you’ve got, Brenda...It’s Sure to be Fun and come in Handy for A Lot of things!!!
Happy For You!!!
😇
Cool bike! I love my EBike and bet you’ll find yours to be super useful - and fun! 🚲
Brenda looks like she is having a ball on her new bike !
Don't forget the safety devices , and road driving safty . ,but think is a good thing for a older person too.
So glad you finally got yourself some economical transportation. Especially since you have had mobility troubles lately. Good luck
At 15:30 those horses are great. Great backing

I absolutely LOVE my e-bike!! I too have a hey bike!! Can't say enough about it!!! XOXO
Brenda, I took a tumble on my e-bike recently, but thankfully, I was wearing a helmet. Please, be safe!
Oh my,that bike sounds like The 👌
Thanks to the manufacturer 😊
Nice Bike Brenda
It's about time you got some endorsement deals for all your good work, and I hope it will help with the leg troubles. 🎉
Brenda, are you still having troubles with your leg? I'm happy for you.
So I see a few comments are encouraging Brenda to use a helmet. That was my idea too. However it will ALSO prove to be helpful in your filming, Brenda. How great for Brenda. Get her sore leg a rest and Skippy a great workout. ❤👍
Great bike! It should be a lot of fun and very useful. It is very appropriate being a “Hay” bike. Would like to see you using a helmet.
Randy Grubbs
very useful bike,,and pretty,,any other colors?

Enjoy your bike!

I like the fact you can haul stuff with it. But a worksman trike would suit you to. And not even half to get off to film
The Bike is going to be a great tool
Have concerns about the dog running up and down the road. We have lost a few really nice dogs being hit by cars over the years.
I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Jim test out the bike.
Can Jim ride? 🤣😂
@@marknelson2905 I'd bet money....
Cool E-bike! I have one too.
Congrats with your bike, Brenda. but be careful! In the traffic they can be dangerous. 15 miles is fast enough!
That bike is perfect for you. Be stinking careful on that dang thing.
Downer.
Awesome 🎉
could a portable power supply be carried on the rear fender for additional power and more range
We bought Bakou bikes and love them.
Nice bike Brenda, you deserve that and more like a snow mobile or side by side with tracks for snow plowing.
Love your videos have a Happy Thanksgiving
Hi Jim & Brenda, I really enjoyed joy your video's. Keep em coming. Oh and reber Brenda, safety first. Please wear a helmet. 😊
This was a great video
You should have a bike helmet. Mine saved my life.

very nice horse .
