I am happy for you, Brenda, to have the Heybike to get around. It sounds like it has just the right features for the way you will use it. Perfect! Skip seems to be able to keep up with the bike, fast runner, isn’t he?
I'd been thinking Brenda needed an Icelandic Pony to run around on, but she got an easy keeper instead. One of those bikes would be perfect for me, but apartment life on the second floor and the thought of battery fire keep me from purchasing. At least you can park yours in the kiln room for winter.
I don't know if it is possible for one to remove the batteries from the bike, to take it inside and charge it under supervision or an outside shed charger for that kind of safety.
I also have an electric bike! And it was one of the best purchases I ever made. Hills are no longer a problem and the battery will give up to 45 miles on flat highway conditions.
We live coastal North Carolina. Weekend after Thanksgiving we wre going to get few days of true fall like weather. My daughter lives 120 miles inland and she will be getting some winter weather. I want to brag about the 2025 calendar we received last week. The pictures are awesome 😊
Good mourning! Gr8 new fangled bike Brenda. Youre are getting pushed into the 21st century. Hahaha 😅 Still love the horses most tho.! 😅 you get gr8 videoing done this way too.! Skippy gets a good work out too. Hi Ken, hes so shy. Awe ya ended so quickly😢. Hope you have good days to come. God bless yall
Glad you got a bike. It must be helpful for your leg that was bothering you. So Skip is running at around 10 miles per hour. Love the horses and the beautiful scenery.
PG here. Love you both and all the animals. We traveled to Northern and Central Ohio 3 or 4 times since September to Amish country. I was stunned just like in this video when I saw women and children using motorized bikes. To get anywhere, they have to go up huge hills and miles to get anywhere! Yet the Lord has called me to get horses for transportation. We took a 3,000-mile bicycle trip through America, camping and carrying gear on the back using saddlebags, in 2003... We are watching your show and traveling to the Amish, actually Mennonites, to learn the right way of doing things using horses. We are done with the industrial revolution and modern machinery. God always has a remnant. As some come out of the old-fashioned ways of doing things, others are going back to it! I have also been walking up and down hills every day to get my strength and health back that the machines stole.
\Hey Jim and Brenda , congrats on your new E Bike it looks like quite handy run about . Duke and Earl look really sharp going down the road hauling a load of firewood home.
Just be careful where you charge the thing, there have been many e-bike fires. Glad to see you out and about, we missed you. Skippy is going to be sleeping very well in future. Our Labrador was like that. We'd kick her out of the truck at the entrance to the farm, and she would try to keep up all the way down the farm road. I'd only be able to get ahead of her around 28 mph, and I'd get just ahead of her and pace her so she would try to keep up. She would sleep from the time we got home from taking care of the horses until the next morning. It wore her out, but she loved it. A tired dog is a happy dog.
Helmet people go away 🤢 leave brenda alone. We are always on bikes for centuries, with a kid in the front, a kid on the back and two big grocery shopping bags to the steering wheel, no problem. And for years already on the electric bike as well! Greetings from the Netherlands.
What a very lovely opening with the horses, nice and clear too.Nice bike Brenda,it can really move.A lot of people use these bikes over hear in the uk.Sending love and best wishes dear friends ❤
Next time you go to a run, like you did a while back, you need to take Skip along. I'm sure he would love it. Be careful on your new bike, 28 mph could cause some pretty serious road rash. So could 10 for that matter. Another interesting video, thank you.
I smiled all the way thru your video,,I am so happy you got the bike...This is going to be a new filming experience for you and us. lov from south alabama...Making filming fun again in a different way. How is ladies pregnancy going?

I like the way these horses are riding, you’d think they were dancing.
Lol, just like a kid with a new toy. Lol enjoy yourself Miss Brenda, so nice to see you and Jim out and about.
Skippy sure was having fun. That dog was born to run.
Nice electric bike, Brenda will put it to good use on their farm👍☺️

An icelandic horse would be pretty great. I was thinking an older quarter horse or something, but wheels are great too!
I don't know if it is possible for one to remove the batteries from the bike, to take it inside and charge it under supervision or an outside shed charger for that kind of safety.
@@HensOnly The protocols for the batteries are impossible for cold climate apartment dwellers.
A fjord horse probably keeps easier.
I know people using their fjords for field work that can only graze them 5 hours or they will get fat! 😊
@gregholl5011 The bike is the easiest keeper.
The leader of the pack must wear a helmet 😂❤❤❤ That is a beautiful bike.
Helmets are a must. These things go much faster than one would expect. That and Skippy running around. Not something I would want to see.
Great to see all the great shots of the horses working. Closeups are best. My favourite aspect of this channel.
Nice bike and beautiful looking team of horses
I also have an electric bike! And it was one of the best purchases I ever made. Hills are no longer a problem and the battery will give up to 45 miles on flat highway conditions.
Congratulations on your new bike , I am sure that you will get plenty of use for it , enjoy you deserve it!! 😎👍🪵
So glad you finally got yourself some economical transportation. Especially since you have had mobility troubles lately. Good luck

I'm disappointed we didn't get to see Jim test out the bike.
Can Jim ride? 🤣😂

Skip can sure move fast and the horses look and work well together. Thanks for the video.

That bike is perfect for you. Be stinking careful on that dang thing.
I see Brenda has some fun!😊
That bkie is a great idea. A helmut is a must!

Great bike! It should be a lot of fun and very useful. It is very appropriate being a “Hay” bike. Would like to see you using a helmet.
Randy Grubbs
I’ll bet Skippy sleeps really well. He certainly gets enough exercise.
Have concerns about the dog running up and down the road. We have lost a few really nice dogs being hit by cars over the years.
It's about time you got some endorsement deals for all your good work, and I hope it will help with the leg troubles. 🎉
Yeah, Brenda! 👍🤟
Nice bike, Brenda!!
28 mph? Time to think about wearing a helmet, Brenda.
Nice bike Brenda, you deserve that and more like a snow mobile or side by side with tracks for snow plowing.
The fear that one of the pair was showing toward the excavator a few weeks ago seems to have calmed down a lot. good thing.
That bike looks like a great tool.
Nice Bike Brenda
Oh my,that bike sounds like The 👌
Thanks to the manufacturer 😊
Cool bike! I love my EBike and bet you’ll find yours to be super useful - and fun! 🚲

very nice horse .
Brenda, I took a tumble on my e-bike recently, but thankfully, I was wearing a helmet. Please, be safe!
Nice bike you should be wear your safety helmet

could a portable power supply be carried on the rear fender for additional power and more range
Brenda, are you still having troubles with your leg? I'm happy for you.
You need a basket for Toto😂
Bonjour ❤❤à vous deux et aux chevaux. Très belle bicyclette.
You go Brenda!! Have ridden and they are fun. Happy thanksgiving and many blessings to you and yours. I think Jim prefers apple pie😉
Please be careful with Skippy out on the road. I grew up in the country and there can still be idiot drivers out there.
You should get a helmet. But enjoy.
👍🏽👍🏽
Wonderful people and horses; a helmet is highly recommended with that new bike.
Brenda is the property beside Abby hers
Get yourself a ebike rated helmet Bern co. Has nice ones i bought 1 this summer and it's much safer wearing one
QUESTION: Which horse (EARL or Baron) is on the Off and Nigh side? One of the horses has a lighter color tail.
The lighter tail is Baron.
We just bought e bikes the humming noise scared my horses.
You need something on the bike to hold the camera, and a helmet.
park that bike away from everything....noy sure bout those batteries
Maybe you should ware a helmet with that bike.
You need a helmet especially if the dog is going with you
You should wear a helmet please
