No disrespect to those guys but no one, and i mean NO ONE struck fear into new south wales' hearts like GI did. No body can compare to him. An absolutly incredible freak of nature athlete that made me go into a cold sweat everytime he got the ball against nsw

Man to see Boyd and Inglis on that wing. A pairing at Origin level is key. Just watching them mature through the years together and their game got better and better together.

Growing in North America I thought I’d seen some pretty amazing athletes like Dion Sanders and Bo Jackson but GI is as good if not better than those guys. An absolute specimen of a human and watching these great videos is a brilliant reminder. Thanks for making it

@@rocknral ya I think you’re right. He would have been an amazing receiver in the same way as Megatron. The second he caught the ball he would have been unstoppable. Plus he would have been an incredible blocker. Certainly would have done better than Hunt or Holmes….
I miss him driving drunk half way across NSW that was a big effort,then getting away with it.Unlucky for him it didn't happen in Queensland or you f...wits would've built a Monument.
As a Queensland supporter, I will always miss this team specially Inglis. I'm a islanders when comes to sports like rugby it's always something very special about the kuri brothers. They all on top of their games but, when times comes for them to 🚶 they will walk out the game whenever they want. It call the walkabout. But, they still the best game players on the field.
I definitely class him as the BEST CENTER of all time , GI in his prime was just an animal , speed power agility height the fend he honestly had it all 👍👍👍
And to think he actually should have been playing for NSW. thank God for QLD he was on our side. One of the greatest athletes we've ever seen in the game. Started out as probably 93 or 94 kg, long, lanky with spindly legs but incredibly fast. Ended up at about 110 kg and maybe the strongest player in the game, but lost a little speed. That fend on Gasnier. Game 1 of that series Gasnier gave him a bath an tore QLD apart. Game 2, Fatty Vautin addressing the team before the game said here's what we're going to do. GI spoke up and said "give me the ball". That's exactly what they did and he made Gasnier and NSW look second rate.
Forget how fast he was. Also poor old wolfman got wrecked. Also also, Gasnier would have been a great of that decade if Inglis didnt destroy him at the end of his career.
How fortunate was Boyd playing outside Inglis! Every wingers dream.
