    I've been professionally smoking for my restaurant and catering for 16 years now. Been in more compilations than I can count, and I'M TOTALLY IMPRESSED AND BLOWN AWAY WITH THAT SMOKER! GREAT JOB!

    It's refreshing to see someone who really understands and puts to good use the TALR measurement method.
    TALR....that looks about right...

    Jeff may not reply much, but he apparently reads the comments. Last time several of us said we would like to see a smoker build and look what we got.
    Thanks Jeff!
    Another great video, keep them coming, I'll be watching.
    Have a great day and take care of that arm.

    Damn Jeff that is one damn good idea. Never thought about using an actual wood stove or firebox in a smoker. Every video I see everybody builds the firebox from scratch. Hell you could sit out there with a chair and just watch the fire, with a beer! Nice job can't wait to see the final product in action!

    My dad had a smoke house like your old one and many Virginia smoked hams have been smoked in it also. Ham sausage bacon deer all kinds of deliciousness had came out of it for years. At last it's no more than a memory, his wife lost his house and everything that was there. Now just memories. We appreciate ya and Hannah!

    Nice video Jeff. FYI - you can use those old saw blades....when you need to cut metal, just turn them around and run them backwards and they do a good job of cutting metal roofing, sheet metal, etc...

    A smokehouse is something all homes should have and my family has always had them from my dad, brothers and uncles. Heck we smoke everything, Venison, Catfish even Carp. If we eat it we smoke it. Enjoyed the video Jeff..🇺🇸👍👍👍👍

      Some Guy Smoked Carp has a totally different flavor and texture when it’s smoked, actually you wouldn’t know you were eating Carp. Smoking is the only way I would ever eat Carp, give it a try I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the outcome..!

      The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived;
      Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. Love love

    I thought you was building a heated Outhouse, when I saw the thumbnail, but that is an ingenious way to build a smokehouse... My grandparents used and old black lard kettle to build their smoke fire in. You can hang a whole ham in there after it comes out of the salt cure box... Thanks for sharing
