I played emerald coast for the first time yesterday. Shot three legendary Roos. One was 530 and way over diamond. Flubbed the shot with him laying down by a centimeter. But the world made up for it. I took a break and arguably wanted salties the most. Went and hunted the mangroves for an hour or two and got attacked by a level 9 legendary Salty. Diamond on the first one :)
You know what would be cool? If the crocs have mating calls? I hope they have an animation where they vibrate the water with their backs, i think, and it splashes water around like irl. Either way, EW has done a wonderful job with them!
That is really cool man. I got an albino crocodile without even grinding for it. I was just walking around and found him. He was almost a super rare, but it was a gold.
Thanks for the run through Ron. EW has definitely nailed the scenery on the biomes looks just like home. The only exception is the vehicles at the outposts LMAO, so wrong but such a small hiccup for such a brilliant job. The countdown to the 20th is taking so long (are we there yet), looking forward to seeing you all down here in OZ.
I heard somewhere (i forgot) where EW were planning on fixing trophy lodges i believe making them more customizable i forgot where i heard it but it was during new england they said they were planning it and seeing the half body crocodile mount seems like they are planning on making the plaques or even the theme more diverse it may happen this year or some other time i love the new map though.
I know this video is 3 months old but I just followed along the coastline as shown in the video, level 9 croc 1015.38 and level 4 banteng 140 which had estimate 139-150 (both diamond right next to eachother)
just for anyone wondering max waight is 1100kg and max score they can be is 1100 if herd managing shoot level 5s and up super easy to get diamonds in maybe 500 kills i have about 20 diamonds and one lucistic
If your not good at brain shots I recommend going for the lungs it’s easy to target and guaranteed a kill also these guys make sounds when your near them so if you hear a grruuhhmmthat means your in the radius of a saltie and be careful they sometimes can charge from the water. These guys also have really bad senses you can get 20 meters away before it flees
Game is fun but I wish the animals didn't get spooked so super easily.. Its not realistic when everything runs away from you the moment you decide to walk at normal speed.
Number one go to on any guides cotw or way of the hunter keep up the great work and a quick question is there a date for the cotw the angler for xbox yet thankyou in advance
I'm gonna raid EW's studios with Rambo's M60 if they don't put you in the untamed species series showcasing the crocs, you did great my friend keep it up💪🍻
I can't wait for this map, from what I've seen so far the Dev's have done a really good job of mapping Australia! ,I'm an Australian and I've travelled around the country A lot and i was able to pick places in real life that look just like the map terrain!👍👍😀 The mangroves could be a bit thicker coverage but then again theres places in real life like the map so it's good..of course there's one thing they cant do on the map and that's the smell which is a good thing😄🤣🤣

How does the Malmer compare to the .300? I've been making loadouts, and I can't decide on which one to use for BIG animals. Haha, the banteng mobbing the croc had me rolling. 😂 Ah, Australia, where everything wants to kill you - looks like they nailed that. Between getting chomped by crocs and punched by roos, it's going to be fun as hell. I have the unfortunate disadvantage of congenital deafness in my left ear, which is pretty funny in any game where you can be attacked - always from the left, and behind. LOL
This might be an unpopular opinion, but it would be kinda cool if the next Great One was a Lynx or a Fox. I'd be personally hyped if the next Great One was a Lion.
still no good... better but no good... we don't want a horse like gallop frenzy... they should rest still in the mud all day and be deadly AS YOU APPROACH WATER WITHOUT NOTICING THEM, apart from shooting, which should scare loads of them... no chasing frenzy
Thanks These past years for helping me. I got my saltwater crocodile today thank you.
Glad I could help and congrats !
Ron, your early access footage is always my first go to on new DLC. I appreciate your time! Well Done.
I appreciate that! thanks. another guide soon tonight. next is banteng. got lots of guides all this week and next week each day.

Nice my first banteng was a medium and miraculously was a diamond was my first kill with the 7mm too

I think only gators do that but idk
they are very realistic and when you experience this you will see how good they are only few days now.
Salt water crocodiles don't do that.
That would be pretty mf cool!
@@nuke2099salties don’t do it too?

congrats on the albino salt water crocodile.

I just hope they will add giraf and elephant, we need a map like that
that would be interesting.

thats great to hear. not long now. another guide later today.
you have vehicles in Australia? lol I thought you all walked barefoot everywhere.
@@navigator8222 Mostly! 😁
Absolutely stoked for the crocs. I love hunting large predators in this game.
they are super fun to hunt.
Great stuff, Ron! This is really geeking me up for the new map! Thanks, mate!
it really is a great map. new video later today.

im sure we will get many things tweaked for the trophy lodges in the future. emerald coast is brilliant.
Why does no one use Keen eye perk? It unlocks so many need zones at every lookout tower. It's overpowered af.
not sure. maybe you on to something.
I just got a Make Piebald Fallow watching this Lmao no joke thanks ahhaha
congrats on the piebald.
@@dgeesiogaming thanks bro

just gotta learn the lay of the land and approach from the right locations. it gets easier the more you play.
Guess I'm going back to COTW 😅 That mount options looks amazing. I fancy the one with vertical pounce as well. Thanks Ron, all the best 🤗👍🏻
Have fun! this is going to be a smash hit and only two days till its out !
Great gude. Im looking forward to Salties, Banteng, Roo and Sambar. those will be what Ill be looking at first
i will have a kangroo guide out later today.
What reshade do you use? Game looks beautiful.
just standard ultra graphics
Getum Ron
haha i will try.
Thanks Ron! They look really fun. I bet a 10g slug would be great at close range.
yeah shotguns will be great for them up close.
Thanks that was a good one.
Glad you enjoyed it

300 is way more powerful but overall malmer is better because you don’t need a 4-8 because it covers 4-9
ive tried the malmer on salt water crocs and the 300 . 300 deffo kills them a little bit quicker.
wow looks nice !!
it really is nice lauris.
Looks great to me.
it is great fun.
nice shot

id like a great one lion.
good one ron
thanks michael.
I’m Aussie and it’s actually illegal to shoot crocs🦘🇦🇺
is it ?
I got a way to increase kills in crocodiles
looks just like home
thats great to hear.
That croc had a wake when it was in the water . That thing can move.
Is hellbrown rare?
maybe uncommon.
They should update the distressed animal calls for gators and crocs so you could lure them in
haha you wont need that trust me...especially with salt water crocs . it would be cool to have the option though.
@@dgeesiogaming are gators getting a rework with behavioral tendencies as well?
❤
Should've done this guide today instead of yesterday. Believe it or not it's World Crocodile Day
ooo didnt know that was a thing. haha thanks.
I've killed 4 9s no trolls😂
oooft congrats
are there any new callers. ? or callers been updated?? thanks
there are magpie goose callers. i have a magpie goose guide going out sunday.
they aren't aggressive, they just run by. lame
they are pretty aggressive but i guess thats what you class as aggressive or expect
first day i got a diamond dark brown croc :)
congrats powpow.
In gonna do a Steve Irwin and jump on the crocs back and ride them
haha watch out as they are very aggressive. have fun !
Can we get in early access too? or is it only for youtubers?
its only content creators for the moment.
oh, I see. Thanks ✌
a croc attack and just 10% health down :P will get the map, but still looooooads of things to do much much better than this
you gotta remember sometimes you get attacked by a lot at same time. ive had 3 or 4 of them attack me at once.
@@dgeesiogaming I assure you, in Kakadu you only need to be attacked once 🤣
The gator is only 1007.4 lbs your right 1/2
yeah alligators are about half the size of salt water crocodiles.
Can you do a banteng guide?
i have done a banteng guide and many others.
2102 lbs. that a big croc
I want to see what the mission are like.
i dont want to dive into missions for spoilers reasons. when released then maybe so.
That 7 is 1726 lbs.

this does happen when you going through the mangroves.
