Dude, when I saw the Trailer for Transformers TLK and they played the lyrics “We’re floating in space.” over the very much deactivated and seemingly dead body of Optimus Prime, even though I was around 13-14 years old, I about shit my pants. That gave me the fuckin’ chills, man.😨
Optimus Prime is not just a character to me. He is a symbiotic being, strong will power. Optimus has lost so many and yet he still goes on. Fighting for a race that isn't his own. He puts other before himself, he knows others need protection when they cannot put themselves forward. Optimus has said he will sacrifice himself so many times, he understands war. Optimus Prime is a inspiration to me. I know he is made up from an imagination but they give him the traits and qualities as if you could meet him, stand next to him.

Also the flaming lips' one is in a major key, this is in a minor key...makes quite a difference to the vibe and feeling of a song.

This trailer was sooooo hype back in the day. Then the movie was a mess :( I used to love watching the trailer over and over. It went so god damn hard.

I've heard a LOT of soundtracks, but this is something new, something special. It's different and special on it's own way. There's an "emotional feeling" when I hear this.
I believe there are one of three possibilites. (1) He's been reformatted and is under Unicron's control. (2) He's been exposed to and is under the influence of Dark Energon. (3) It's Nemesis Prime, as Optimus Prime would never intentionally hurt anyone or anything. At least, not without having a reasonable or just cause.
Flynn's Video Arcade My thought is that he's either been reformatted by unicron (as you said) or the Quintessons (creators) found him and have used dark energon to control him then sent him back to Earth to destroy the only force on the planet left to protect it. The Autobots. Usually when they try to show the character of Nemesis Prime they usually make the colouring darker.
Prival Duck Most definitely agree. The fact that at the end of the trailer he says "forgive me", which in my eyes says he's under an outside influence. But to discount Nemesis Prime would be neglectful in my opinion honestly. Even though he has always been colored much darker... these are the Michael Bay films. And being as such, he does have a tendency to throwout any previous associations with characters. Which is understandable to a point... they are his movies. Although, I do believe the most likely scenario is either Unicron or Dark Energon.

Aye, look at how a lot of humans in the series even betrayed the Autobots that gave their lives for them, and make a deal with an enemy they know has no regard for the Earth or anything on it whatsoever. I think the callousness, ruthlessness and atrociousness of said humans is what makes a lot of people despise the Bayverse Transformers films overall.

Really wish there could've been one more film. Just one last movie to conclude everything this series has built up, and cap it off with an epic conclusion. Yeah, I really wanted the final movie. I pray one day it can release, a "bay cut" if it must. Even if the other two movies were bad the final one in the trilogy(yes it WAS going to be a trilogy) could've possibly been good. The backlash from this movie could've helped improve the next one

Coming back to this song aflter all these years is something else. It makes me tear up as I remember myself being obsessed with these movies (I still am), watching every video covering what might happen. I remember my heart racing when I saw the scene with Optimus beating Bumblebee and then aiming for his head. I was legitimately crying in the theater when Bee got his voice back, while I was sitting on the edge of my seat. The film may have lacked the darker tone the trailer was setting up but Imo It was still great, my favorite right after the Bumblebee movie.
Here I leave my mark. The nostalgia and the memories will always be with me.We might not get another movie or ever see Optimus Prime again but beyond the big screen he is still fighting his war and winning. Things I like about TF5 TLK -Banger Musics Steve Jablonsky never make a bad TF theme, TLK theme gave me chills. -Great Trailer TLK Might be the most mess up, but atleast the trailer is a masterpiece. -THe Knights of The Iacon design They did such a great job designing them, and I got nothing to say aside from them being an inspiration for me to draw and designing robots/mechs.

I was in fifth grade when the movie trailer was released...my friends and I were OBSESSED with the franchise. And we were making theories on who could be the last knight (Xander you were right about cayde) I remember we would bring transformer figures to school and remake battle scenes. I miss it. Now I’m in ninth grade. My other friend and I are still close but our other friend’s signals have gone...dark without a trace. Song, I do realize...I realize the importance of the past and how it affects me. We can’t change it, but we can remember it.

Michael Bay lost a lot of support the moment he killed one of the fan favorites: Jazz. Then he killed off Ironhide, Ratchet, and all of the original Autobots from the first three. Wouldn't phase or surprise me that Bumblebee is next to be replaced by HotRod or whoever. Let's just hope there are more Transfomer scenes than before. We watch the movies for them, not the crappy human storyline.

I believe there are one of three possibilites. (1) He's been reformatted and is under Unicron's control. (2) He's been exposed to and is under the influence of Dark Energon. (3) It's Nemesis Prime, as Optimus Prime would never intentionally hurt anyone or anything. At least, not without having a reasonable or just cause.

Most definitely agree. The fact that at the end of the trailer he says "forgive me", which in my eyes says he's under an outside influence. But to discount Nemesis Prime would be neglectful in my opinion honestly. Even though he has always been colored much darker... these are the Michael Bay films. And being as such, he does have a tendency to throwout any previous associations with characters. Which is understandable to a point... they are his movies. Although, I do believe the most likely scenario is either Unicron or Dark Energon.

I remember being super excited for Transformers: The Last Knight. The trailer made it seem epic and kinda eerie
Coming back to this song aflter all these years is something else. It makes me tear up as I remember myself being obsessed with these movies (I still am), watching every video covering what might happen. I remember my heart racing when I saw the scene with Optimus beating Bumblebee and then aiming for his head. I was legitimately crying in the theater when Bee got his voice back, while I was sitting on the edge of my seat. The film may have lacked the darker tone the trailer was setting up but Imo It was still great, my favorite right after the Bumblebee movie.
Here I leave my mark. The nostalgia and the memories will always be with me.We might not get another movie or ever see Optimus Prime again but beyond the big screen he is still fighting his war and winning. I was in fifth grade when the movie trailer was released...my friends and I were OBSESSED with the franchise. And we were making theories on who could be the last knight (Xander you were right about cayde) I remember we would bring transformer figures to school and remake battle scenes. I miss it. Now I’m in ninth grade. My other friend and I are still close but our other friend’s signals have gone...dark without a trace. Song, I do realize...I realize the importance of the past and how it affects me. We can’t change it, but we can remember it.

Michael Bay lost a lot of support the moment he killed one of the fan favorites: Jazz. Then he killed off Ironhide, Ratchet, and all of the original Autobots from the first three. Wouldn't phase or surprise me that Bumblebee is next to be replaced by HotRod or whoever.
