I have the same rust problem with the canister and the guys at the shop said they don’t want to yank it out because something might break. I would pay you to do mine as well. You’d be a life saver 🙂.
My 2014 Ford Escape car alarm is triggered randomly because the hood switch was intermittent. The alarm system thought the hood was being opened, thus the alarm.
that can produce the gas cap farting?? i already change the evap purge valve...but not original or oem one...the part last 2 years....now start farting but not always and not problems like before remplace the part...so...i have that doubt if is the canister or the shity purge valve Thanks
I just did this no need to touch exhaust or sway bar but plastic skid plate needs to be removed. The 2 lower shock bolts and 4 k member bolts then lower about 3". Then loosen driver side canister nuts and remove pass side nut.
