Here are the prices and specs for those who are curious:
$750 for the wheels (20 x 9 ET +35)
$500 for the tires (245/45/20)
Wheels are used and curbed, tires are new but are DOT 2019

A little sand paper and a hyper silver spray kit from advanced auto or orileys will make a big difference..good luck with the wheels..I have them on my e46 bmw..
Thanks for the advice, James! I'm still deciding if I should sand the lip down as I don't know if that would make it difficult in the future for a shop to weld and lathe them evenly. At the minimum, I will definitely fill in the obvious discoloration of the curb rash with the hyper silver spray you're talking about as a temporary fix

Did you have to buy new TMPS sensors for the new wheels?
Nope this gen CRV uses the ABS to monitor tire pressure (or something like that). There are no sensors in the wheels and no light on the dash. Just need to reset the calibration for the tire pressure using the infotainment system
Can CRV 2017-2019 use 16" wheels for winter tires?
Not sure, it probably depends on the wheel but I would say 17" is probably as low as you should go to clear the brakes
What set of wheels and tires would look great for a mixed crv with an off road aesthetic or lifted-like in nature? Thanks
I'm not too sure what would fit that aesthetic but I've seen some SUVs with a smaller diameter wheel in the TE37 style that looks pretty cool. The fun part of buying wheels is picking a style you like so go out there and try to google some pictures for inspiration
Ktuner with custom tune ftw
Looked into one of those but it goes out of my budget right now and I don't think it is financially worth it to put a Ktuner onto the CRV. Just got a civic project so I will be putting more money towards that :)
@@AnthonyMo my dad had his custom tuned with ktuner for $650 dynod @ 230hp 320Nm much nicer to drive, his is also 6mt. Good luck with the civic too
@@jeryjohn Thanks! I would totally get it tuned if it had a manual transmission but they only offer it with the CVT in Canada
