Thank you! Chef Yener. In my humble opinion, you are the last of your kind: a real Pastry chef designer and creator. While everybody is using silicone molds and special cutters to give form, you design, create and mold what you want to achieve. Your cakes are not only beautiful, when I look at them I really want to eat and try to do myself. Bless you!
I agree, as an amature home baker I don't have the money to invest in the moulds and equipment, though i belive and appreciate the creation of the moulds, I am keen to learn the basic steps first...the moulds; i will use if one day I have a big order to do and just don't have the time to do it all by hand.
Thank you so much for your free tutorials every now and then in that even if some of us can’t afford classes you give us a glimpse of yourself. I love how you make complicated very easy. You’re God send
I find myself thinking during the week........”What will Yerner do this week?” And often just can’t wait for Sunday! Thank you for sharing your talent, you are very kind. 👑🤩
Love this technique ! I honestly don't know which one I love the best ! Thank you so much for your instruction. My cake decorating has definitely reached the next level !
Thank you for your fantastic tutorials. Unfortunately with the Rand - ANYTHING exchange rate, it makes taking on line tutorials very expensive. Your free tutorials are absolutely amazing, informative, so clearly explained and brilliantly put together. I absolutely LOVE this new technique you have been demonstrating - sliced fondant and am having a ball watching them and trying them out at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Just go to eBay and type cellophane sheets. It comes rectangular sheets or in 40 or 60 cm wide rolls. If you like to know exact thickness, I use 27micron for cones and 35 Micron for sliced fondant method. 30 micron is good for everything.
you prolly dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been watching with my brother these days =)
Do you suggest using oil with all brands (store bought or homemade) of fondant, or just your preferred brand? Also I love your videos!!! Very detailed and super easy to follow. I have learned so much from your videos and website!!!!! Thank you
Thank you so much for another amazing tutorial, Chef Cerdar! Can you please share the source of cellophane sheets you are using? I couldn't find it on your website... Thanks a million!
What a great technique! Will have to give this a try! My question though, what was the cake covered in? Was it buttercream, or was it a styrofoam dummy cake for tutorial purposes? Thank you!
🌹🌹 I want to thank you for your beautiful video Yener. Thanks for sharing it with us. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹 I have noticed that you're speaking english in a way I can hear and fully understand it good. Thanks also for this favor. 😀 You're amazing. 🌹🌹 Greetings from Germany God bless you 🌹🌹
Anitra Davis...I have wondered the same thing. When you search it on amazon that is what pops up. Hopefully he will answer so we know the truth. Lol 😀😃 happy baking!!!
Donna Hoyt In one of his previous tutorials I thought he said it was cellophane because he used it also to create miniature piping bags, but I know he mentioned acetate as well. I just didn't catch exactly what kind.
Okay, guys stop wondering. It is cellophane sheets. Yes, the one the florists use. I always buy 70x50 cm sheets from Hostens in Australia but I don't think they send oversee addresses. Just go to eBay and type cellophane sheets. It also comes in roll 40 or 60 cm wide. If you like to know exact thickness, I use 27micron for cones and 35 Micron for sliced fondant method. 30 micron is good for everything.
Are you planning to make what polymer clay artists call a "skinner blend" to cover a cake? I think that would be uber-cool! Especially as a background for the flowers!
Hi Serdar, I notice your dummy is very white and smooth on the outside. Do you cover it with pastillage first? or do you prep them some other way please?
Hi Agrillot6, I do too but if you look at Serdar's it is very smooth on the outside and whiter than the top. As he has advised he covers his with a PVC pipe. If you look closely you can see the rim of it on the top of the cake.
Hi chef I am a new student in your chanal and I love to practice doing flowers but I don’t have any tools to work with and I don’t have clear idea about different kinds of fondant also chef can you please tell me from where can I buy these things as I live in Sydney. Thank you very much.
Why aren't you posting as many cake tutorials on your website? It seems you are posting more on TH-cam than you do there? Please post more tutorials on your website. I am a paying subscriber. Thank you.

What a great technique! Will have to give this a try! My question though, what was the cake covered in? Was it buttercream, or was it a styrofoam dummy cake for tutorial purposes? Thank you!

I really enjoy your tutorials. Exactly what type of cellophane sheets do you use? Is it the same that is used for gift packaging?
Anitra Davis...I have wondered the same thing. When you search it on amazon that is what pops up. Hopefully he will answer so we know the truth. Lol 😀😃 happy baking!!!
Donna Hoyt In one of his previous tutorials I thought he said it was cellophane because he used it also to create miniature piping bags, but I know he mentioned acetate as well. I just didn't catch exactly what kind.
He does say cellophane but he could be using acetate sheets. In one video he also mentioned the preferred thickness as well.

Hi Serdar, I notice your dummy is very white and smooth on the outside. Do you cover it with pastillage first? or do you prep them some other way please?
It is a PVC pipe from the hardware store.
Yeners Cake Tips - Yeners Way you mean the rolling pin? I sand my dummies with a very fine sand paper.
Hi Agrillot6, I do too but if you look at Serdar's it is very smooth on the outside and whiter than the top. As he has advised he covers his with a PVC pipe. If you look closely you can see the rim of it on the top of the cake.
Alison Scurr WOW I didn't know they had them that big! I guess you learn something new every day.
