This man exaggerates his achievements. I was all for his vision until I found out he's blowing his achievment out of proportion. He did not invent fiber optics. Please read on the pioneers of fiber optics. He help improve the manufacturing, that's very very different from inventing. BTW the speed of light is 186,000 miles/sec
