Africans worldwide, we have everything we need to solve all our problems, including defeating racism from all groups. All we have to do is unite and focus on Africa First. @iphil25 exactly, they finally come home, when the oppressors have finally squeezed the life out of them. I won't be surprised if the man comes down with some forms of ailments that will see him to his grave...the moment the oppressors find out that the man wants to return home, they activate his exit process from this world.
@iphil25 What are you saying? What about if he didn't come at all? At least he has remembered his root. You have to regard and appreciate him for it. Do not be negative, do you know how many years he is going to live? Be proud of him okay?

Yes, true Ghanaian and a true Akan. Akans we love our motherland Ghana. There is another brilliant Ga man called Dr. Ollenu NSA engineer. JPL. Try and get him too they all love Ghana.
@kononbidhi, Guys, stop being tribslistics. Check your DNA and you will realise you are linked with many other tribes you are under-rateing. In fact tribalism is what causes downfall of Africa, unless we stop that, our mighty Africa will never be great. Why all this tribalism when we are all from same root. Unless we stopped that, other races will continue to dominate us...
I didn't know a Ghanaian man played such a big part of fibre optics technology and I even study computer science. Although it should be noted that he didn't create fibre optics (as the title states) since it was first developed around 1840s. Also very suprising to find out that there is a silicon valley in Ghana. That's really something to check out when I visit again, especially since I have quite some experience in IOT and AI.
Vanessa, thanks for interviewing this amazing man. We should be proud of our heroes. I hope the telemedicine idea comes to fruition for Ghana.
