Im a new subscriber. Watched a few of your videos so far. I love you ha e me cracking up but at the same time, delivering true useful information. I have a Chinese 2 ton. I am interested nkw in the XH26D after watching it in 2 of your videos. Thanks!! Keep it up!
That turned out well. A little grass seed and no one will ever know it was there. On the excavator, when you're breaking roots and such, take advantage of where the maximum power is, which is your bucket curl. Your boom and dipper circuits have less leverage, and the rotation motor even less. If you get the teeth of the bucket under a root and then curl the bucket, your pivot point becomes bottom of the bucket, and combined with the curl circuit having the most leverage, you can break roots and dislodge large rocks a lot easier than trying to drag the bucket through them.
I think you're correct about that. IIRC it was the brochure for my 26G that had two different breakout forces listed, one for the manual coupler and one of the quick coupler. I went with the manual coupler, primarily because adding the quick coupler would have pushed the delivery date out even further. I've only swapped between the 18" digging and 30" grading bucket a couple times, and a QC would be nice, for sure.
From the beginning, you told us it was a Chinese budget excavator. That's the video that caught my eye and was happy someone was being straightforward about one of them. Most reviews were a joke and made fun of the fact it was Chinese. I appreciated it very much. Thank you.
You got me, thought when digging the hole you were just going to burn it there then fill in the hole with the rock. That mini-ex sure is nice to have around! It's nice to have toys!

I did have to rent a Excavator though to get the stump on a lowboy though. I am surprised yours picked it up. Once again Loved the video
@@JCWren I sell them at my local bobcat dealer. The problem with selling individually is shipping. The cost to ship one tool is roughly $30 US. With that cost, along with packaging and materials, time/fabrication and so on, it would put the tool cost at close to $100. I don’t think anyone would pay that for one of my tools. So that’s why I just drop them off at my local dealer. They can ship them, but I’m not sure what their costs end up at.
Hey guys, great content. When you build a ripper, if you could figure out some way to put a wire detector in it, you would take over the world. I scalped my underground cable when digging up a sewer line yesterday. When I saw that mini-X actually pick up that stump, I was impressed. Good purchase on the Kymron.
I would like a 2ton. But have a 1ton. The otheres or out of my price range. You need a ripper tooth. A cheap way too build on is box blade ripper. What i did for my backhoe. And its 20 inches or so You need a grappler for you front bucket. Helps alot

Gotta add: Always work over the blade if possible. And make sure it's all the way down (the blade). You can accidentally tilt yourself right over. I owned a Nissan mini for years. Nice video though.
First time seeing your channel. Very impressive. Yours is twice the size of mine. TH-cam channel, of course... EDIT to add: I meant to suggest that you will have more downward digging force if you put the blade in the back and lower it to the ground. I have a similar mini-ex and learned that from a Case training video...it does help with these great little machines.
I did not. I think it would have been in the 2k range. Idk. I planned on making the drive for the content too. I wanted to see the facility and meet the owner.
It would be nice if you could review the mechanical features of the machine you are using. What is the Horsepower? Is it a diesel? Is it 1 or 2 from the bottom of the line? What did it cost you? How long have you owned it? Have you had to repair it yet?

Well I was not expecting you to pick up that stump with that small excavator, impressive job. How do you like that box blade for that finish job you did?
I was expecting that either. Its been a good little machine so far. That was actually a land plane/ grading scraper. I use it on the gravel drive but it works great in the dirt too.

Laminate 3 or 4 5/16ths plates. Cut welding slots in them and weld them together. *maybe* cut some saw teeth on the front for roots. Do it. I’m making one this winter when I get to it.
Funny😂. That was impressive how that little machine picked up that large stump. Oh, by the way, if you based your purchasing on whether or not it’s made in China you’d own nothing.
What’s up man!? New subscriber here. Was curious on your impression for this size machine doing normal stump work on trees that are let’s say 12-24 inches on average. If someone didn’t want to buy an expensive stump grinder would this size machine be a suitable replacement, or would you want bigger?
Thanks for the sub! Honestly this 3 ton machine has been pretty solid for me. Ive dug up many stumps already. Plenty of power. It can handle a 24”. Might take a little longer but it could do it.

I did look at the Groundhogs. They are basically doing the same thing with the chinese excavators. Making upgrades, having parts available. They do beef them up a little vs straight from China. I personally liked working with Ron. He was very professional. When i called, i talked to him directly and he was willing to work with me. With Groundhog, i never actually got to talk to Nick.
