  • My Chinese micro mini excavator is used for all kinds of things besides just digging and trenching. What else can you do with a micro excavator?
I bought this micro track hoe or micro trackhoe as they are called. It’s a Kymron sold out of Oklahoma and is made in china. It has a 14 horsepower Briggs and Stratton engine which gives it possibly more power than a 2200lb mini excavator needs. I use it for all kinds of projects, from digging, trenching, picking up logs, moving rocks, etc etc. I have a 8” bucket, a 16” bucket, a 30” grading bucket and a rake or grapple. It comes with a 36” hydraulic dozer blade and a hydraulic thumb. It also has a hydraulic oil cooler with electric fan.

My wife shook her head and said "Oh God, there's another one like you...". S'all right by me! Thanks for the video!

Great around the farm, light duty, I can’t wait to use it to help with the deer. I’m a plumber over 20 years, water leaks, short service line replacement on fair soil conditions. You’ll make your money back quickly. Yard maintenance and clean up is great. Very handy at my age, I’m blessed to have one again, not what I had but I appreciate this one more because I had to sell my E26 😞 God will restore me but until then I’m thankful for my unit. I took mine apart and changed the controls, I didn’t want to unlearn 20 years of experience. Pretty simple to do. It took about an hour in the Oklahoma heat, glad that’s over with. Good luck y’all…

Next time with the big log squeeze it up against the blade with your bucket. And lift the blade. You can tote much heavier and bigger objects at a lower center point of gravity in relation to your machine. Also I wouldn’t advise “walking” the machine. I know it’s fun, but don’t make a tired mistake one day. Your toes are not worth it. And any machine big or small is jerky. It depends on how you run a machine and how well you know it to make them run smooth, not just the minis. Last tip, you can use a track as a winch if you ever needed. Linemen pull cables by lifting one track off of the ground and attaching rope to the cable. Once one rotation around the tracks is complete, you can then just hold the track rotation continuously pulling the line in effortlessly. If that makes sense.

You need to put your blade down when your lifting anything.

Try lifting the front or back of your UTV using just the curl function of the bucket.

    The engine is 13.5 HP.

    Use full throttle maybe.

I lift my 1,700 zero turn mower all the time with my backhoe. Works great. Just a word of caution. Still use your jack stands once you get it raised. If you're under that thing and your relief valve blows or you lose a hydraulic hose, you're a goner without those jack stands.

That was great! Even got the wife laughing. And yea I think your pressure is set to low it should have picked up that side by side easily, especially with you not on it. It can be adjusted easily by turning the pressure relief valve but you should use a gauge when doing that. My H12 looks nearly identical to your machine and it would have pulled itself over before giving up lol. It stopped pulling because it reached the limit of its relief setting.

Walk closer, put the stick in and get closer it'll do it. Use the blade if you gotta

Absolutely great. Subbed. Thank you. It’s called practice that’s how you get good at stuff. Doing it over and over. Whether it’s digging “unnecessarily” or picking up things you don’t need to. Love the General. I’d love one of those.

I can just hear the neighbor. "He's always digging holes at all hours of the day and night. I haven't seen his wife for a while.

That would be the perfect machine to build a garden railroad.

  • @user-zo9ld9jo2q

This is what it looks like when you're not used to actually working.

  • @LandFather

They are also very good at picking up and stacking large stones. I just put a video out where that’s pretty much all I do, nice vid

  • @jonathanbartsch9728

Great vid. Been excavating for 20+. You’d be surprised how much more you can pick up if ur arm isn’t extended out so far. Bring closer for more leverage. Happy excavating! 👍

Use the blade on the front as a stabilizer. Keep it on the ground whenever you're moving the boom. That should reduce a lot of the rocking.

  • @bill5552

I think that the mini could have picked up the side by side if the bucket hydraulics were used instead of the boom.

That would probably lift that thing up if you reset the overpressure valve on your pump or on your valve body. I did that to a floor jack to lift a few hundred more lbs.

    Great video!
