I love how Nikki reviews with honesty, but she is always polite and never overly mean about it. She always seems understanding of the work that goes into making beauty products, and that others have different taste than her. I always appreciate her reviews because of this.

Recycled packaging doesnt necessarily have to mean cheap packaging... especially at that price range. That is a let down.

I don’t think people realize that Ari is usually in very simple, minimal makeup. Especially on the eyes, which explains why the shadows aren’t too dramatic, you NEVER see Ari in super metallic, glittery shadow lol Also explains the packaging, everything is her aesthetic and true to her.
I totally agree when it comes to the product itself but after years of buying and using other products by ari like her perfume, the packaging is VERY underwhelming in my opinion

Yes, and it’s a relatively new thing for her that’s really working. She used to wear her eyeliner much thicker and longer and be contoured to the gods.

this brand is so up my alley. i love a soft glam, and my every day make up look is usually very subtle. occasionally i’ll do a full face/full glam, but all of these products are definitely something i’d use daily.

I love Ariana but I’m still always skeptical when any celebrity comes out with makeup so I wasn’t sure how this would go, but this actually looks pretty great. I gotta try that eyeliner and that highlight.

I actually like the packaging. It’s aesthetically pleasing and clean. I also don’t want something heavy with packaging.
I’m not an ari fan at all. And honestly with her questionable morals ab plastic surgery and cultural fishing ... anyways I genuinely love the packaging. It actually is awesome to me Ari chose sustainability over glam. Like there’s already so much garbage and so many other makeup brands filling our landfills to the brim I think this concept is really cool. The only thing is people are complaining about the price but idk I haven’t looked into it.

Whenever Nikkie does the lower eye shadow- I at first think it’s too heavy - but then it turns out gorgeous by the end. Kinda fascinating to watch

I feel this way with many of her choices! sometimes when she does her blush I'm also like "it's more than what I'd do" and then suddenly everything comes together and I'm like "oh nope that's just.. perfect!!" I gotta start trusting her more because she always makes it work

My natural look is taupe eyeshadow with a dark brown eyeshadow both smoked out and a taupe lip. Its pretty much natural look is everyday neutral colours but make it grungy

quick tips: curl ur lashes for a doll eyed look and put some lip tint on ur lips, cheeks and nose😘 EXTRA POINTS: gloss and brow gel.

i actually love the lipstick packaging i think the little window is great if you have more then one shade so it’s easy to see what one you’ve picked up (unlike brands like mac where there’s no way of knowing what you’ve picked up)

8:54 to be fully honest, it's the type of packaging that just makes the pallete blend into its surroundings, so i'd say it looks like something I would loose really quickly, also the semi mattness of the packaging makes it look like cheap aluminum
I love how sweet you’re even with being honest. That’s much needed in our generation. The packaging looks cheap I immediately noticed that. I think she’s aiming for younger girls but she has no idea how loved she really is by woman too! Maybe she does? Despite it being recycled it could have been less young girl like. Maybe she will come out with more? I’m proud of her I think the palette colors look nice!

I’m with you on the packaging. It reminds me of the pharmacy eyeshadows my mom would use in the 90s that came with the tiny plastic applicator. Not what I expect from Ariana. Simple is always nice but simple doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish. It also doesn’t give me space. Could have really taken advantage of that concept and done something really cool.
The prodoct are recycled that is why they may feel/look lightweight ..

i see what you're saying, but I also think that was what she was going for. she LOVES the sixties especially, so i think she was going for older packaging vibes. actually, her photoshoot for the makeup line was based on a sixties vogue model. I think she tried to merge that, with space. I really like it personally

The only thing I have to say is that liquid eyeshadow is usually supposed to be applied directly to the eye, rather than your hand, to a brush, to your eye. I believe that explains the pigment problem.
@@shawk2832 I mean, half the comments are agreeing. Liquid eyeshadows are made for convenience and meant to be applied with fingers.

honestly, I feel like most of the products are beginner-friendly but like idk personally I wish there was more color especially cause it's a space-themed collection I just wouldn't have expected all the neutrals in this collection due to the theme. I did really like the lip and eyeliner might have to buy but the shadows and glitters were underwhelming and maybe need another mini to give that POP of color. I think it's a cute collection some of the packaging needs work just cause something is eco-friendly or recycled does not mean it has to be bland and underwhelming many brands that have the same claims have nice and creative packaging(that isn't over the top but also not just...chrom all over) that aside it does seem the actual makeup is something anyone new to make-up or that really like neutrals shades or tones would really like.
I really think a lot of celebrities are coming out with makeup and skin care lines as a cash grab cuz they know it works and I don’t think Ariana is an exception to that. That’s probably why the packaging is cheap. Everyone saw Rihanna get rich off of fenty beauty and wanted to hop on the band wagon in my opinion
Completely agree! Definitely a cash grab! Makeup is a multi-billion dollar industry they all just want a piece of it. Singers, actresses, all of Hollywood is coming out with makeup and skin care. I'll stick with the brands I trust!

Can we just appreciate the fact that Nikki is so honest and respectful at the same time and that Ari did exactly the products that scream "Ariana Grande", like, I am so glad that those celebrities that Collab and design their own, new, makeup line always go to Nikki for her honesty and experience. I think this make up look is so pretty, I wish u could appreciate a light glitter bc some people go to work and school and can’t be doing make up for an hour every morning of full glam. Like In reality it’s not very often that every day people do “full glam.”
I think sometimes because of how the beauty industry is, we forgot that not everyone wants heavy luxe packaging, sometimes simple is better, and not everyone wants a liquid eyeshadow which is going to be blended with a brush, some people like to just use their finger and have a subtle shimmer rather than full on glam. We forget to appreciate the minimalist side to makeup.

I believe the purplish blue is technically more of a periwinkle, which is the color of Nikkie’s top and the blue-ish highlighter. (I know this from my Crayola crayon 120-color box 😆) Lavender is more of a pinkish purple hue.

This entire makeup line is absolutely my style! I’m into more of a simple look rather than GLAM✨ and I love my eyeliner so I’m excited to use this!!! I love Ari so much, been waiting for this!
The madison beer pallete is on sale for $5. All 3 of arianas eyeshadow palletes are in that 1 morphe pallete except madisons collab is actually pigmented and you don't have to spent 10 minutes on a naked eye. Lol
As someone with short, straight, asian lashes - I feel you on the mascara portion. I highly recommend Isehan's Kiss Me Heroine mascara if you want something that will actually hold a curl up until the end of time.
Ok I have the sameee lashes and THIS is the ONLY mascara that has ever worked for me

I love the packaging of the lipstick and overall this seems like an amazing launch! It is sad that not that many consumers are excited for it, but even my reaction at first was like "another celebrity makeup line" yet I thought the theme was great and so fitting to ariana. I have to say I would actually buy these products after watching this review

This makeup is perfect for people barely getting into makeup, like a child getting this for christmas. It’s also perfect for people who just want something quick and easy and are much older for all that glam stuff. Her packaging expresses that very well and it also expressed the theme well too and it’s environmentally friendly which is a plus to anybody, idc how many colors you want on a packaging girl save the earth!!!!

So, something that I love about liquid shadows as a consumer, is that I like to be able to throw them on and go. These liquid shadows really make that possible. I am a medical worker, so I leave at 5:30am and am getting home at 20:30pm. They stay on ALL DAY and they are a little pop of colour that make me feel like I tried in the morning :D
As a medical worker, I say PREACH GIRL. It's a must have for 24h shifts.
I really like everything about this chapter. It’s practical for people like me working in an office building where I can wear a more neutral business professional look. I know a lot of people were expecting more glitter and shine but not everyone can wear that stuff to work everyday and how often do people go out on weekends and do a more dramatic look in your 30s? This is just my opinion and what works for me in my life
I don't think working 30-year-olds are the target audience for Ariana Grande though
Literally those shades are the most common out there. You can find them in any other palette out there lol, way cheaper and better quality

To be honest, I like the packaging. It's not over the top, I'm not buying makeup to have nice packaging, Im buying it for the actual product. I also appreciate that she made the line affordable.

this is going to be an unpopular opinion but i like the packaging of the glosses,, i hate when they have a wand and the content gets mixed with whatever lippie u have on🤧 for me it’s perfect

I never put the wand on the lipstick I’m wearing! It’s one of those things that drives me crazy when I see people do it lol. I swipe it into my finger and tap it on top of my lips

This packaging ( nos·tal·gia) reminds me so much of the Mary-Kate and Ashley makeup line that they used to sell in Walmart in the 2000's. I loved that makeup line sooo much!!!

I'm sure that was on the ideas table of her team.. but 1) it has been done 2) it gives more of a cute teen-vibe and not like this, which also has a level of cuteness and pop art, but it's more elegant, more like "I'm a serious company and here to stay" vibe.

I actually love her line. The liquid shadows are so pretty. The matte lipstick has beautiful packaging and the formula is so creamy. I also love the lip stainer! I guess different people have different opinions
