Western Wanderer Route 2: The Cabinet & Shoshone Mountains (Idaho Centennial Trail)

- In this section we hike from Naples to Mullan on the Idaho Centennial Trail. The section through the Cabinet Mountains was quiet and scenic leading to our arrival in Clark Fork in the 4th of July. We took a few days off to have Prima evaluated by a vet and found some signs of spine arthritis. She is did amazing on the following section along the state line to Mullan with the aid of boots which makes me suspect that her feet were also likely part of the problem.
As a note, these videos are a ways behind where we are actually at due to the remote nature of this route. Most of the towns we are traveling through are small (poor WiFi/cell service) and far apart. I’ll do my best to keep things continuous, but there might be weeks where I miss an upload due to technical difficulties, just fyi.
Also note: Prima and Skittles are wise to many of my techniques at this point. If they lag behind in shots it’s likely because they know I’m filming then and think it’s dumb. Sometimes Prima does get sore feet, and we then take time off, but usually it’s just then being too smart.

I got confused when I saw the fireworks near a forest area on fire.
No kidding! I asked one of the locals about it, they didn’t seem very concerned. There were a lot of hot shot crews in the area at least
