Fun fact: birds don't have vocal cords. They make sounds by forcing air through a syrinx or by squeezing air sacs. Basically, we speak like accordions and birds speak like balloons. *EDIT:* Since so many people have angrily replied about there being no difference, here's a short explanation: Mammalian vocal cords are dedicated organs that evolved specifically for controlled and variable vocalisation. Mammalian vocal cords have no evolutionary purpose other than producing sound. Other taxonomic Classes of vertebrates do not have dedicated vocal organs. The non-mammal vertebrates that produce sound do so by utilising their already available hardware: lungs and air-sacs with sphincters. This includes the croaking of frogs, the hissing/barking of snakes, and the amazingly varied sounds of birds. The reason why I specifically chose to talk about birds is because they have evolved (arguably) higher proficiency for vocalisation than mammals, despite mammals having superior biological hardware.

Sweet doves. Doves are very much associated with Bengali people. Their cooing in the lazy afternoons in small suburbs were mentioned in so many bengali literature and makes us feel nostalgic❤.
Where I’m from we have mourning doves, which sound much more ominous and melancholy. Especially when it’s quiet, and they’re off cooing in the distance.
After having owned a pair of ringneck doves who ended up breeding and having three healthy baby ringneck doves which i hand raised, i grew very used to hearing this sound every day. Omg I misread it hahaha I thought that message said, well I read it... Let's just said I thought "someone exploded that dove into tiny pieces feathers, protect these sweet babies" But no. It's your heart (expressionally)
Where can young doves be purchased? in order to hand raise them to be hand tame. If you want them to fly free in the house mostly, will they drop their waste in a particular area, can you train them to do that, or do they make a droppings mess everywhere? Thank you for answering these.
CA Catr If you plan on getting doves, please try adopting! There are so many pigeons and doves that were bred to be domestic and can't survive in the wild that now need homes. Check around shelters near you, and online! They don't actually need to be young to be hand tamed. It'll take a little longer if they're older and not tamed yet, but it'll still happen with care and work. I'd say most pigeons and doves that would be adopted would be used to humans already though. And finally- yes, they can be trained to poop in one spot. Accidents still happen though. They also make bird diapers for them that most pigeons and doves get used to pretty quickly. And finally- please do lots and lots of research before getting any! Birds are long term commitments that require a lot of love, time, hard work, and when it comes to vet visits, money. I may be wrong, but I believe captive doves and pigeons have a lifespan around 20 years.

So cute. I can tell these sweet creatures lived a good life.
Cute little Doves❤🕊
birds are 25 percent feather, 75 percent squish
10 percent PECK
I thought the title said “Doves cooking” and I was like oh I wanna see that
doves cooking sounds either like the best animation I'm waiting for or the worst catch and cook video that will make me D: forever
dude same XD
😶
I THOUGHT OF THAT THE WRONG WAY
I thought it said cooming
Before I knew what was making those sounds, I called doves day owls
i remember sleeping at my grandmas house and waking up to their sound. i used to think it was a rooster. i miss it so much
My heart just exploded into a trillion fluffy pieces 😭 protect these sweet babies
Warrior'ƨ Ɯιиɢƨ mine did too
Mheanwhile
Me: traps birb in my fluffy blanket and treat him like a baby
no i dont f e e l like protecting them
How are you alive?
Omg I misread it hahaha I thought that message said, well I read it... Let's just said I thought "someone exploded that dove into tiny pieces feathers, protect these sweet babies" But no. It's your heart (expressionally)
Love how they are loving the petting so much.

xhellboundx best update to a comment ever 🙌🏻💖
My doves heard the cooing from my phone while I was watching this video, and both of them started cooing as well XD
Edit: Oh my gosh- How has this comment gotten so many likes??? thank you so much! 💙
Sounds like heaven
Awww 💗💗💗
This I believe because my birds start chattering whenever they hear a vauge bird sound
Cooingception
Do you know what it means when they coo? Like theyre happy or if it's just a noise they do?
