I love how he's just Star Platinum in 1 with no horns or wings, then became more devil ish. I still love the Tekken Hybrid version, it made me think it was a completely different character than a fully Devil Kazuya and Jin.
I love his track in Tekken 2. It just touches me an emotional level. The Tekken series probably has the best soundtracks across all fighting games imho.
He evolved more and more over time. Crazy. I wonder how? Id guess from t1-2 it was naturally. But i also think in the later games he couldve evolved due to science possibly? He absorbed Akuma in t7.... from the teleports to the Dive kick animation, and even some of his dialouge is Akuma like, Strictly business.... could be a reach but really check out the finer details in T8 as far as Kaz goes.... I was shocked to see Devil Kazuya absorb Azazel into himself in Tekken 8. As sick as that was though, can you imagine if Akuma returned in Tekken 8 only to get beaten & have his power absorbed by Devil Kazuya.....👀

It’s disappointing that T7 D. Kazuya didn’t make an appearance in T8. They could have had Kazuya use this form against Jin in the beginning and against azazel. And for azazel form just rename it fusion devil or something like that. Missed opportunity.
i think this game is a better tekken 7 than tekken 7 was cuz it fr is just a direct sequel to 6 its like 7 was just filler to kill off heihachi cuz they’re embarrassed asf of that story in 8 lmao
@@igg7865 I disagree, Tekken 7 really develops Kazuya’s personality behind the scenes. I feel like most things that really develop his character are blink and you miss it moments. And Tekken 7 has a lot of those. It also doesn’t help that Kazuya isn’t the main character in a lot of those moments. You are shown the moment he’s thrown off the cliff, the only moment Kazuya and Heihachi worked together in Tekken 5 intro which shows that in the past Kazuya was a bit of a coward who would play dirty. And we get the final fight with Heihachi where towards the end Kazuya’s right eye gets teary before he sees images off Heihachi before he threw him off the cliff and them in the next shot he’s costumed by rage and kills him. Going into Tekken 8 you can tell that kazuya develop a sort of respect for Heihachi for the way he fought against him. Kazuya begins using the mantra “a fight is only about who’s left standing” and afterwards fights akuma with renew resolve and this transfers over to Tekken 8. There’s also Shaheens story in Tekken 7 where Lazuya loses in his human form and simply transforms and flies away. Kazuya is not as evil as people think he was made to be evil and it’s he’s hatred for Heihachi that shaped him to be evil. This character development is in Tekken 7, so calling it filler it’s not fair in my opinion. By the way Harada has a psychology degree so it makes sense that the main characters of Tekken are an abusive narcissist, a traumatized man with CPTSD and brooding you man with sefl unnaliving tendencies. With Tekken stories you have to pay close attention to the actions off the characters, because the story itself is simple but the gestures and manner tell a different story. I have spotted some of these things in Tekken 8 and will share in another comment if you want because this one is too long already.
