in 1:38 i have a question, when you took the elevator, why weren't there any imps after exiting the elevator, because when i played there was a load ton of them in there. but when i saw you're vid there were none. anyway great speedrun, congrats
Oh, that's a good question, I should probably put this in the description as well. Those imps only teleport in if you shoot in that section earlier in the map. When getting the SSG and the red key, I make sure I don't shoot, so that those imps never teleport in.
thanks for the explanation, @thomastd5. i have another question: at the end of the secret level, i keep getting softlocked, and i'm unsure why. You mentioned in the description to avoid hitting any walls when dropping off the maze. Could you specify which wall you're referring to?
right after the fleshy maze, you have to drop down a pit at the end of a hallway. If you press along either of the walls on your left or right (either on purpose or by accident) or run too fast, you won’t trigger the Cyberdemon’s platform to come down.

Give it a try! At the end of the day it's just a different route; it doesn't require that much extra attention
