I literally bought the last white dial one from the EU website. That one is sold out now. It's should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday. This one reminds me most of a Samurai.

Oh, I think this watch is taking itself seriously. Not a micro brand any more. Phoibos are a well respected serious mainstream player now. Outstanding.
This does have a Zelos like appearence but I have to say that is a good looking piece. I may have to pick one of these up, in perticular with the meteorite dial.
Really liking mine. Wish the clasp had push buttons instead of friction lock. Bracelet has a few sharp edges. For $300 think it's a very fair price for what you get.

I think that Phoibos is an interesting brand, because they have a quite good quality for the price. Furthermore I really appreciate their original design: you can love them or hate them, but at least they are quite original. For instance I like the Great Wall and also the Sea Nymph for women is really cool. Unfortunately this last one is sold out on the European web site (al least in the color I chose).

Every Phoibos watch I see go on reviews are diver watches. Maybe the same with Zelos, I am not sure. The price seems good with a discount. I used to have one of the older ones with a Miyota 9015 I think or something near that. Was 300 dollars US I think. It hurt my wrist after a while and I sold it. They tend to be too heavy for me but I think this would be good with someone with a larger wrist size than me.
Think this watch is below the price point it could have achieved! Phoibos are really good at bringing watches out that pack in the specs and quality for a solid price

I do like the design except for a couple of small things. The hour markers look a little long for my taste and the hands look the same as the hour markers.(would be nice to see a contrast) But I really don't like the seconds hand. Over all I still like the watch though. More color ways would be nice.
Good review. Phoebus will need to get rid of the NH35 movement If they really want to differentiate themselves. There are better options for $299 than this one.

Seems abit unfit for purpose considering that bezel grip and lack of a divers extension. That second hand is straight out of HP, and thats not a compliment. It's also unfit as an office diver due to the thickness so my conclusion is its a confused watch. Love the meteorite dial.
I don’t mind the design and not the second hand Oleg, the crystal looks domed and probably is sapphire. Yes the Miyota movement with the meteorite dial would be my choose too.
I was thinking about buying gray version,but the problem is that gray is almost black on the photos.I would want a "silver-gray" tone.Which one is Yours?
I have the grey version. This grey meteorite (at least on my piece) is indeed fairly dark, like washed black. Looks even blacker under artificial lighting. I was also expecting a lighter shade of grey but it looks fine, especially in daylight.
There does seem to be a decent integration on the case to the bracelet and I like that. Spot on with the small date plot. It's not good. Even if it was bigger, round date plots don't look good. But for the price a good watch! Can someone talk about Seiko NH 35 versus Miyota 9115? What makes one better than the other. Yes I want a Miyota 9115 because I know it is 28,800 bpm versus Seiko 21,600 bpm and I know the Miyota is a lot thinner so it can make for a watch that wears better on the wrist. But really, what is the biggest deal; regulation, accuracy, or it just makes my love life better? Also my deceased Frenchy, Brie, just talked to me from the grave and still wants to bite Bond!
i generally do like the design but i think it is only about 80-90% there for me. i dont know what it is or what it lacks, but as a whole it seems like it is not quite what it could be. and i do actually feel similarly about other phoibos watches.
Great review. I like the case and bracelet, do not like some of there design choices . The worst for me is the Writing on the dial, looks like Harley Quinn tagged it. They should of went with a cleaner font. I also do not like the crown knurling or the second hand. I have a few Phibious models, all very nice. Will be passing on this, there are some upcoming releases that I am watching out for.
The round date window with a white date wheel kills the look for me. I can see what they are going for, but it's not my thing. The lume looks awesome though, almost enough to convince me to open my wallet...
I agree with you. As soon as he turned the face where I could see that window, all my excitement died. It just doesn't work. I bought a phobos and saw a better price, -$20 usd? Don't buy anything late at nite. I bought the quartz one.. Its nice but I'm into automatics. Cheers!

I would rather choose Seiko Samurai or Save Oceans because of the design and brand. Unknown and non Swiss should cost reasonably less money 💰. Anyway, great job👍
Don’t buy Phoibos, my watch has been two and half months and still haven’t received my watch. I understand their are delays in shipping, but this is a bit to long and I’m still waiting. So if you want to order a watch that you won’t be able to wear until 3+ months from now go ahead.
You can always claim refund from PayPal and if the watch gets to you eventually... It will be free... So not reallly an issue. Logistics have nothing to do with the company is what I'm trying to say. Cheers!

That design is refreshing. Seconds hand is somewhat reminiscent of the Milgauss. Would I pay extra to be able to say my dial is meteorite? HELL YEAH!!

I bought the Proteus Meteorite Dial with the patina plating. I am in love with it!

Be aware of the bracelet and clasp - they are very charp... I sanded mine...

Yeah they mainly do divers. Although the last release was a choro. Yeah this one is a hefty watch.
