    On all the foxbody jobs you have done in the engine bay once you smooth the strut towers how do you run your portion valve brake lines which don't have holes in the strut towers just asking I will wait on your responds.

      Those are called duckbill pliers or sheet metal seam pliers.

    I was wondering your thoughts on running ur injector harness threw the cowl area to hide it. I realize the weather woukd get to it but could i dummy plate the opening cowl the top or is the cowl functional for something. Need ideas for my dailey driven 91 gt. Can check it out on my page.

      Travis Beard never seen the harness run through the cowl before. Might actually work well.

    How's that pinch seam doing, Did it ever open back up?

    • @maxbomb101
      @maxbomb101 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah i reckon any seam should be welded

    • @danthomas9077
      @danthomas9077 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Seam sealer injected into the pinch weld before crimping will bond the two together and seal from moisture intrusion from the back/inside of pinch weld, bondo is porous and will absorb moisture, people will apply it to a crack/seam like this and paint over it thinking they've sealed it, moisture can get in from behind and cause the bondo/paint to crack/pop off later, welding bonds the edges together but again it doesn't seal the inside/backside from moisture and welding causes corrosion/rust if not painted, you can't paint the backside/inside of a pinch weld very easy, a fully bonded pinch weld is also just as strong or stronger than welding, seam sealer would be the way to go.

    Anyone care to explain why this was shaved for?

      MoctezumasRevenge1 when you open the hood the engine bay looks much cleaner which in turn puts more focus on the engine instead of hoses and wires plus it makes the car look nicer at a car show/ meet
