My door only stays open and will not close. Sensors are all good. The breakout wheels look a little worn. Will replacing both of them resolve this issue? It will only open automatically but will not close automatically

If you are turning the door off at night by using the red switch then when you turn it on in the morning the door will open and stay open until the sensors reset(could take up to a minute). This could take up to a minute or longer if there are people walking around in the sensor zone. When you turn off power it erases the sensor memory. Best to use the middle switch and the CLS (close) position and leave the door power on. Red switch is an emergency power off switch. If this isn't your issue then you have a sensor that is sticking or a binding problem. (which this model is prone to)

This door is located at the Ace hardware in Sylvania Ohio. This was the first install of this model in the US (I installed it, I felt sooo bad for the owner when I saw what a piece of junk this door was). It was such a piece of junk that Stanley replaced it a few years later for free with an updated version of the same door(still junk) This video is of the replacement door. If you want a great Stanley sliding door only buy a model "2000". They are the best Stanley has (and they are a great door). They are very reliable as long as they are not abused buy carts and fork lifts. I installed auto doors for 40 years and this model in the video was one of the worst I have ever seen of all the brands.

Thanks for the comment. These doors are hard to find. Too bad many stores don't use this unique type of door.

This model is a very cheaply made door (not inexpensive). I use to refer to it as a Yugo Slide. Stanley does make better models but not this one.

I agree this door is flimsy and cannot handle any abuse of any kind

This install is at the Ace hardware in Sylvania Ohio. It was the first install of this model in the US. The door was so bad Stanley gave them a new version of the same door a couple of years later. This video is of the second door. They didn't do the store any favors this door model is still junk.@@Astaroth19986

This door is located at the Ace hardware in Sylvania Ohio. This store was the first install of this model in the US. (I installed it and felt so sorry for the owner). The door was such a piece of junk Stanley replaced it after a few years for free with an updated version of the same door. (still a piece of junk). If you are going to buy a sliding door from Stanley buy a model "2000" only. They are a great door, very reliable and last forever if not abused by shopping carts and forklifts.@@Astaroth19986
