Hey man, I discovered your South Korea vids while I was visiting there, you were one of the brave few who made a vlog about Jecheon! This is my first time catching one of your vids when it's new! I'm glad to be along for the ride, maybe I'll pick up some tips if I make it to that part of the world in the future!
Ah I loved those smaller Korean cities and towns! Miss those road trips a lot. Thanks for sticking with me even though it's been a long time since a video:) I have lots more footage of travels to go through. The difficult part is finding the time to edit. Where are you watching from? Cheers!
@@DanDoesKorea I'm a fellow Canadian, from New Brunswick -- I took advantage of our 6 month visitor visa in South Korea to travel all over, I even managed to walk the whole Olle trail on Jeju. Right now I'm in Taiwan before I head back to Canada. I definitely find your vids handy, they've got a nice chill vibe!
You finished the Olle trail?! Very cool! It's on my bucket list. Did you do the passport thing and get the gold medal at the end? I'm currently in Ontario anxiously awaiting my next adventure abroad. How is Taiwan in the summer?
@@DanDoesKorea Olle in the summer was actually kinda brutal, so I streamlined it a bit. I stayed along the coast so there'd be a breeze, so I missed the inland stamps. Next time! Taiwan is cool, it feels like a mix of Japan and China, and definitely an interesting change from Korea. The main similarity is that the AQI is still kinda bad, but I guess that's just how it is around here! Breath in that sweet Canadian air for me!
@@DanDoesKorea Yeah, been going camping in Woods Bay (closer to MacTier) since I was a kid! Unfortunately, it might rain all weekend so I might have to cancel my trip 😔
