Over the last Christmas holiday, we went to the 3D Trick Art Gallery, Rotorua which was fun! Whenever I visit Rotorua, we go to the Museum to see the Rose Garden and the view of the lake from the back of the museum. Nice video, like it.

I like how you put this compilation in a Top 5. Good tip on how to save money and how you do your adventures. The Zorb and the Hobbit place was my 2 favorite. When we visit, those are the 2 things we want to do. Just love movie sets.

Geezzz someone is bragging about walking on an active volcano 😂 I’m jealous! I can’t wait to visit NZ and Rotorua is definitely going to be on my itinerary. The mud spa is something I have always wanted to do and I’ve been thinking about that zorb ball ever since I watched it in your videos! P.s. I love the intro and the setup of this video! Super informative and interesting. Hobbiton is definitely a must do. I wouldn’t dare miss it hehe 😄

I remember going to Rotorua as a teenager and of course all i remember is how much it stunk! Then when I went back when I lived in NZ I was like, it doesn't even smell 😂😂😂 Great guide Megan 🧡 Never considered the Zorbs until watching that clip 🤣

@@TravelKiwi Awesome! I am staying in Rotorua for 2 nights, arriving on a Sunday around lunch time and have all of Monday. Is it possible to be able to fit in the luge, red tree forest, a geothermal park and a ride down to Taupo via Huka Falls in this much time given I do some on Sunday afternoon and some on Monday? Thank you!

Thats quite alot to do in a short space of time! i would say do the tree walk in the evening to free up space in the day! you could do the luge in the AM and the Geothermal walk in the afternoon as this will take 3-4hours :) then you could do huka falls on a different day! hope this helps and enjoy your time! :)
The rules are slightly different for tree walk now. You CAN'T use your ticket for the second time.

I have an unpopular opinion. Most of these "attractions" would count as a "snooze fest" for me. When I go back to Rotorua with a teenager, it will be luges, ziplines and bungy jumping. Different courses for different horses is the old saying...

With all do respect I disagree!! When you stated you don't have to watch lord of the rings to experience the Real thing, Nostalgia is Everything! Watch at least the first film (weather they like the movie or not) watching it to get that experience on screen will make the experience more worth wild actually being in Hobbiton, Without watching the film at least won't be the same
