Thanks very much, I just bought myself a Falcon 030 and this has been really helpful in getting the SD card setup (and getting a Gotek installed) Looking forward to your next vid, so I can start filling it with stuff.
Very useful video! I just bought a IDE-to-2xCF adaptor (DELOCK 91662) which comes in a 2,5" form-factor. I already moved my data from 60MB IDE-drive to the external SCSI-harddisk. I have to fiddle around a bit with the clockpatch, because I still have SCSI-issues. I hope removing the old patch and putting in the patch-PCB from exxos UK will do the trick. Next I'll get HDDRIVER. The plan is to use one CF for the main "Harddrive", the other for moving data from/to PC. Let's see how it all comes out. 😉
Great video, special thanks for showing both driver setups. Note there is also another modern alternative from the Polish guy that make HD packages. More videos please, even 4 a year would be fine. Thanks again
Paul, you’re welcome. Yes, Petar Putnik’s drivers are well regarded (as well as his work on hard drive adapted games and TOS modernisation). I don’t have a copy of his drivers but maybe I could ask for copy for a video?
I have a 16GB Sandisk flash card and an adapter. I know it exceeds the maximum, so if it works I will make as many partitions as I can. I am curious if anyone knows if it will still work when I put it into my Falcon. Or if I should get an 8GB card. Maybe I just need to plug it in and see what happens! The existing hard drive can only be read, I can not write to it anymore for some reason. So I want to upgrade to maximum potential storage if I can!
