used to drive q40, it had so much power that i felt overwhelm.
Infiniti does have a different feal sitting in them. The cockpit is low and the center council is a high divider. The rear seats are made for two with high bolstering so it feels like a four door coupe.

Mausome nope got flagged down by a guy on my way home from work figured he was having car trouble or something like maybe a flat. Pulled over to help him turns out he was in a car accident and just left the hospital that was like 300 yards away and asked me to give him a ride into town and it was on my way and I'm a big dude and said sure fuck it and he just told me a bunch of stuff I could've gone without knowing (he was drugged up from the hospital) and when I dropped him off he was like thanks man if you ever need to buy anything man hit me up I'll hook you up and I was like no thank you lol

For the life of me, I can't figure out why it took until the early-to-mid-2000s for this to start becoming a popular feature. Even though it gets cold enough for heated seats to be useful where I live, I'd still much prefer cooled seats over heated. I don't think I'd ever buy another car without such a feature.

Extremely pleased with my 2007 Infninit M35x. 224,000 miles and still running strong. So far, only had two issues: (1) The AWD output shaft had some play and got that fixed and (2) Had an Oxygen sensor go bad and replaced that. Otherwise, a very delightful car. Just wish it had a sixth gear and better fuel economy!

For the record, as I was taught in my automotive classes, cooled seats are actually just little fans blowing into a specially made duct that circulates that air throughout the seat. No actual air conditioning happening here.
I own one and yeah its literally just a small fan below the seat that flows air into a filter then into a funnel that goes into the seat

What are these guys on talking about mercury😭. Infiniti is to Nissan as Lexus is to Toyota conceptually speaking.
I think the whole point of Infiniti is to be "near luxury" and offer 90% of the competing BMW driving experience with 75% of the refinement (in terms of material quality and NVH and whatnot) for 75% of the price (in the real world, feature for feature). We've owned 2 Infinities , and a Lexus, and have driven BMW's. The Lexus was more luxurious and refined but was a snooze to drive, the G37 was unrefined but DAMN fun, the beemer was too competent to be remotely fun in the city, and the Q50 is more refined but drives like it doesn't know what it wants to be. The lease prices are killer, though, and they tend to be mega reliable.
Which Lexus did you own? If you turn off the nannies the IS becomes super fun to drive.
I've had 4 Infinitis. They get respect without being flashy and are even more reliable than Toyotas. Drive the piss out of mine and they outlast all the Camrys and other things some of my friends have. Quality is so damn good, feels like the day I bought them! Just wish the noice isolation was better in the G37s though, they're really noisy. The highway ride is great but it's so loud that road trips are a bit of a pain unless you turn the music up.
Comparing infiniti to Mercury? Damn that's ridiculous! And infinti is comparable to Acura and Lexus. Look at the consumer reports and then answer back. Not only that, this car is over 10 years old. Go review a 2006 Acura lol

My dad's old 325ci had a setting for the wipers where they'd go as soon as it felt the windshield was getting wet. So it could go really sparsely or really quickly, it was great for light showers.

Wait,.. An 07 doesn't have an Aux Port but an 06 does? My 06 has an Aux port and Video underneath the back center console. I play console games in the back set with the DVD player switched to Aux, via the Remote Control that comes with the Car. I'm baffled as to why unless they were forced to find ways of lowering the price. I know that every few 06's sold here in Canada which makes it a pretty rare find.

Air conditioned seats, past that duct he mentioned there are two small fans in the base and seat back foam inserts. The air channel is made in to the foam and then a mesh type material is layed on top of that before the trim is layed on (leather, cloth etc) at least that's about how Mercedes does it since I have assembled them personally.

man you should have driven a g35s those things are fast and fun! the auto trans is definitely the weak point, but what car thats 10 years old doesnt have an auto that isnt up to par with cars nowadays?

The bluetooth in the early M35/45 only had bluetooth calling, no streaming audio. You can get an interface from Grom Audio that has bluetooth streaming. I had a 2006, maybe the 2007 had the capability.

There are RCA inputs to the DVD player in the centre console, and if you hit the DISC source button twice, it will select those aux inputs. You can plug a y-cable (headphone jack on one end, RCA red/white stereo plugs on the other) into that and use your phone or whatever audio player you like.

I have an 05 G35 coupe and are they luxury absolutely not interior is nice but it's kind of like of a sweaty stinky dude who has a brand new suit on. Looks nice on the outside but nothing special underneath.

PS: 7:15 Most cars have a position on the wiper stalk that's a momentary switch...nudge it, it immediately returns to the off position and it wipes - once. I'm very surprised that this car wouldn't have it - even an late 80s Escort had that - unless it just isn't working on that car? :-)
