What is Firebase?

This video is all about Firebase. What is it? Why is it useful? Should you use it? In this video I give a high-level overview about how easy it is to use Firebase for hosting an app and for its database.

1. If I make a mobile app using react app native could it be used with firebase?

No, the "local server" i'm referring to is just my laptop. at that point in the video I am simply developing an angular app on my local machine.
