Just bought one EXACTLY like this for $450 in need of battery/carb clean/clutch bleed/seats that sat for a while... hoping to make a dirt cheap beater cruiser. I love that theyre only 530lbs...thats less than a Hayabusa!
Before getting my Harley Davidson Fatboy I had a Suzuki intruder 1400 it was a 2006 in “candy red” beautiful looking bike especially when the sun beat on her!
I own this exact bike, the clutch slave cylinder gets hot if the bike is stationary, so I have to switch it off if I get to a road work stop and go, otherwise it urinates all of its clutch fluid out. I have since replaced the clutch fluid with power steering fluid, which is a bit thicker, and the clutch works vetter now, because the lever takes sooner. The other problem at 68000 km was the fuel pump relay blew. I bi-passed it, so that the pump recieves power continuously the moment you turn on the ignition. You also have to watch that you don't curl the filter element, when sliding the cover back on ad dust will then enter the carburettors. Buy this bike, they are absolutely bullet proof.
I rode one of these and idk seemed like a pig and sounded like a truck with no muffler, I’d probably look for a vtx or a road star for the same price but that’s me
