1000% correct about the NIL agent and team around a player, I think it’s such a distraction these days for these kids. You think Madsen has an NIL team?….or is he just surrounding himself with his football team? I think the team would respect someone way more who is just there to prove himself and not the guy who is there only for the $$

Appreciate it. You should do more! I appreciate you all have your own different personalities and you braid those together into BSU updated news with jokes. And!!!….I don’t have to watch 25 min of commercials like….you know. The other one. I still like the other one but soooo many commercials and sponsor stuff.

I think the entire framework around the QB battle discussion is flawed. This idea that Nelson lost the job vs Madsen won it. Why should Nelson have been favored? If you are looking at 2 QBs and one is coming off a season where they were injured most of the year and played almost no snaps and is brand new to the school vs one who is a 3rd year player with a ton of experience from the previous season and is also familiar with the incoming OC’s offense you should not be surprised that the second QB won the job. I completely disagree with the statement that the number 1 recruit should be able to be a starter day 1 in the G5. Maybe for the majority of the G5 that would be true but Boise State is a P4 school in a G5 conference, there’s a different level of competition and expectations. Nothing Nelson has done has indicated he has failed. He just wasn’t ready for week 1 at the brand new school with an experienced QB already there. That doesn’t mean that he won’t be ready at some point this season, as Ball Game said he just ran out of time. He will continue to develop and I expect week 4-6 that he will get his chance to take over the program and prove his potential. Excited for your extra access content! Looking forward to the season!

I don’t think I am way off base in the general statement that you would expect the ESPN overall #1 recruit to start by year 2 if in fact said player was truly the top player of that class… I’m not saying he failed, nor that he won’t end up being a great player or starter here. But there’s nothing in his 2 years in college so far that says he was the #1 overall player in that class. Not yet at least.
Fair but got to remember that A. Those recruiting rankings are based on NFL potential not necessarily and indicator of their ability to play right off the bat in college and he was also overcoming an injury most of his time at USC that slowed him down.
I just don't see Madsen giving up qb 1. I hear a lot of banter around college football talk about how Nelson will take over the reins at some point during the season. I don't think that will happen unless Madsen gets injured. I like how people keep underestimating Madsen. He's fueled by that. It wouldn't surprise me if he put himself in the Heisman conversation.

I didn’t understand going for it fourth and one on your own 34. Not only that but don’t even have the best running back in the nation on the field. They (G-Southern) had the momentum and you just gave them more. That could have been the game-breaker and all of a sudden the Broncos are back to the Avalos years of bad decisions. Also, I don’t understand the 2-point conversion try. The Broncos have one of the best kickers in the nation. If playing a slightly better team, the Broncos lose. Thank goodness, for much better players to overcome bad decisions.
