The Quarter Guy I've seen your collaboration cheapest fighting game bosses list and I agree that Parace l'sia is the cheapest boss ever and it only took me 15 tries the first time I beat her
With the absolute lowest amount of HP Blissey could have, that number rises to 1,789,723. Also, wow, most liked comment in the four years this video's been up. Huh.
I think I just figured out why I like QG's videos so much. He's constantly introducing me to games I would've otherwise never bothered to learn about. If it weren't for these videos I probably would have never played Arcana Heart and hell, I probably would never have heard about Custom Robo so thanks QG.
> Pyribbit from Kirby Triple Deluxe Oh, this boss got SO MUCH WORSE in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. Imagine having to fight the damn thing on a strict time-limit.
+CodyMayo It's even worse because one of the challenges requires you to use the Hammer class to beat him. Which IS SO SLOW! I usually like to change up the class I'm using depending on the boss. So Strict Time limit + really fast boss + slow movement speed = MAXIMUM FRUSTRATION! At least we finally got to fight Taranza. THAT was awesome.
I've got several bosses, but they can be summed up as such: ALMOST EVERY BOSS FROM POKEMON SUPER MYSTERY DUNGEON! You're either outnumbered, have to deal with annoying tactics like Double Team/Protect spam, or are just to low leveled because of the atrocious difficulty curve of the game. Grinding for levels takes forever, and you're constantly railroaded to the next story dungeon way too often. Plus, when not exploring story dungeons, you're encouraged to use a team made of recruits because you and your partner have sucky stats and levels. But then when you have to progress the story, your hero and partner are too underleveled.
Eh...I think every boss in this game is fine except for fucking Dark Matter. I mean, they're hard, but at least you can retry the floor over and over until you get it. This boss can be summed up in one sentence: They somehow took the Bittercold, ripped it off, and made it even worse. A ripoff is bad enough, but a ripoff of something terrible is just stupid.
The only fight I’d consider awful in super is the mega tyranitar, shadow thing, and mega gengar fight. Yea sure you have multiple pokemon fighting with you but that becomes a bad thing when the mega gengars use confuse ray.
And if you play explores of t/d/s and make it to the final bosses, they will have the intimidator iq skill, which may make you never landing a hit if it atticvates
50 million HP? Phfff. Trillion: God of Destruction is named for its villain. Who has 1,000,000,000,000 HP. And you've gotta remove every one of them yourself. Admittedly I'm putting this out of context. The entire game is built around the Trillion fight, training for it and chipping his health down in multiple encounters while fighting the clock and your dwindling resources. But I couldn't help pointing it out.
I wasn't expecting to find gate from megaman X6 at all. Yes, it was really hard to beat back when I was a kid, but never thought I would find him in a random list of hard bosses. Oh the memories. Great, annoying, and difficult boss battle
Gate may have been a pain in the ass to fight as X, but he sure did have an awesome boss theme. In my experience, Zero is able to slash through the orbs for massive damage so I only had to focus on maneuvering
There's a video about the worst Zelda bosses that sums up the Imprisoned quite perfectly: "Skyward Sword had some pretty neat boss battles. It also makes you fight the Imprisoned, so overall it about breaks even. Oh wait, I'm sorry: it makes you fight the Imprisoned _three times,_ so it actually comes out _slightly in the red!"_
My least favorite fight is one from Persona 4. What happens when you take a pointless, annoying character and add in a regenerating shield and a crying baby. You get Shadow Mitsuo.
I can definitely see where you're coming from but when I fought him, I had very little trouble. Though that might be because I had prior knowledge of the fight from other people. Basically, I would recommend either have 1 persona resistant or immune to each element...or just use Black Frost and pretty much wreck him with Agidyne.
He wasn't that bad though. Much like +A Good Dickson though, I probably had the advantage by reading up a strategy plan, but even then, it didn't feel like it was a harsh battle. Honestly the only Persona bosses that annoyed me were Sleeping Table and Arcana Hanged Man from 3 (who the hell thought it was a good idea to have an annoying difficulty curve in the middle of the game during the development process?) and Shadow Yukiko and Shadow Kanji from 4 (seriously, these guys just start off the game after the pretty slow intro by killing you until you're pretty much forced to grind for an hour or two for levels and Personas. What a great way to officially start the game, guys!)
Really I'd say the only problem with the boss is the Evil Smile Ghastly Wail combo which can result in the cheapest of cheap deaths (I've been there trust me). Even then that will almost never happen. You'd essentially need to have all the characters have fear and be paralyzed by fear in order to have that happen.
A Good Dickson Yea, that combo is actually pretty nasty if you don't have anyway to get rid of those ailments, but even then, it rarely happens like you said. The only way I think it could happen is if the game decides to give you the shittiest amount of luck possible.
Am I the only one who didn't have trouble with Young Xehanort? I don't know why, I never had trouble beating him. I fought against him recently and still didn't have a problem even though I hadn't picked up the game in several months.
Nope. In fact, I had anticipated that there was going to be a difficulty spike after I beat Xemnas. Went grinding for a entire day and by the time I reached him, I lost to him about 2 or 3 times and then set up Riku and my dreameaters to beat him. Imo, when compared to his appearance in BbS as the Mysterious Figure, he's kind of a cakewalk.
Little known fact about new destroyman, if you get his combined attack to hit him, it deals about a fifth of his health and stuns him. Keep that in mind next time you fight him
Thank Ramuh you didn't have to fight Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden pre patch from Final Fantasy 11. They were raid bosses which when fought optimally took well over 10 hours, apparently up to 16, even! That's a whole day of trying to kill one fucking boss with multiple friends! At least some versions of Final Fantasy 12 buffed you enough to kill Yiazmat in only a few minutes. It took people getting apparently sick from exhaustion to nerf those FF11 bosses! Maybe Joshscorcher shoulda put that on his list of Square Enix fails.
Being a huge Shin Megami Tensei fan I can safely say I HATE MATADOR WITH A BURNING PASSION BURN IN THE UNDERWORLD FOR ALL ETERNITY!!!!! Now I know the SMT games as well as the Persona/Devil Summoner/Devil Survivor games are challenging as all get out but usually the challenge doesn't come until halfway through the midway point you know when you're character is at a decent level and you've recruited some decent demons. But Matador who isn't even the last of the early bosses in Nocturne is harder then the final boss why because he has two annoying abilities which he spams constantly at the start of the fight Red Capote which boosts every stat by a great amount and he'll spam this ability to boost his stats to max then come the second annoying ability Black Capote which lowers the defense, resistance, evasion, and accuracy of the entire party and he'll spam this ability to lower your party's defense, resistance, evasion, and accuracy down to 1 which is the lowest a stat can fall to. And then he'll start annihilating you and your party of demons in one to two hits. I had to level grind all the way to level 40 just to beat him.
To beat Matador all you need is a Nekomata with Sukukaja and Media, and an Ame-no Uzume. You probably won't have that setup at first, but it'll save you a ton of grinding, beat him at level 18.
LordIzanagi89 Yeah unfortunately for me my best Pixie is usually the first one followed by Nekomata yes I did recruit Nekomata and she's taken out right after Pixie removing my two healers.
Axl EXE Very true. But at least it's better than forcing you to overlevel like Yamato Hotsuin from Devil Survivor 2, and Meghanada from Digital Devil Saga 2. It always annoyed me that those two always get a pass, when much more manageable(read: less grindy) SMT bosses like Matador and Shadow Mitsuo always get called out.
A boss I hate is Ryoma in FE Fates. Which fight? ALL OF THEM. In every single chapter in any version where he is an enemy unit, Ryoma is ludicrously strong, fast, and impossible to hit. It's especially bad in Chapter 25 Conquest, because Corrin is the only unit you can use against him as they're seperated from the rest of the party, forcing you to kill one or both of his retainers at the end of the map, who, by the way, have stats strong enough to be Chapter bosses on their own, and since the hallways to them are stuffed with units with a HUGE jump in stats since Chapter 24, and on Hard and above, they have skills that are near impossible to surmount, ESPECIALLY on the right hallway. That, mixed with all the fixed damage skills and stat debuffers, this makes even the highest of Defense fall flat even after one turn.
I have a few bosses that I hate from the FE series (Note: These are only from the ones I have played fully, and just one boss from each game to keep things brief). Sacred Stones: Demon King; the game hypes him up, yet didn't even last two turns before he died. He didn't even get a chance to attack me, just summoned some monsters that ALSO didn't manage to do jack shit. Such a disappointment. The Tellius Series: In both games, it would be Oliver. His personality aside, he was just a crap boss. In POR, he's likely to die to Tibarn if you don't rescue him and the other two laguz, but even if you fight him yourself, any physical damage dealing unit will take him out no problem. Also the four part map was just utter bullshit. In RD, it's the same case for the boss. Just send in any physical unit and you have one very dead senator. And the map is annoying because of having to deal with enemies who can have an advantage over you by virtue of being one staircase higher than you, and the mages with the long ranged fire and wind tome can just fuck right off. Just a crap boss through and through. Awakening: There are PLENTY to choose from, but to me, the worst was Grima. First, he was hyped to be this bringer of calamity, yet when he gets out, he just......flies around, not doing anything. Then when you fight him, he shows that he could easily kill you by depleting nearly all of your HP for every unit before the fight starts, but deus ex machina plot aromor saves you, so insetad of ending it right away by barrel rolling you off his back to let you fall to your painful death, he just sends INFINITE numbers of maxed level enemies until he dies, and considering how easy it is to break the game, my strategy always boiled down to "Send Donnel to destroy him." Then choose sappy ending. Fates: I'll list one for each route. Birthright: Garon Dragon; After his disappointing fight in chapter 27, he transforms into a dragon and kills your Avatar, and are subsequently brought back to life by virtue of the "Friendship is Magic" anime trope and gain more plot armor. You fight an Anakos power infused Garon, and.......he goes down in one turn. You don't have to worry about any of the enemies because he will die before they can do shit. I was tempted to say Xander was the worst, but at least the game tries to justify his pathetic battle by saying he was holding back. There is no excuse for the lousy Garon fight. Conquest: I will agree with you in saying that Ryoma is just the worst to deal with. Nearly impossible to hit, deals massive damage, will nearly always double your units, and Chapter 25 is just awful. Revelations: I never fully enjoyed Revelations. Some maps were cool, like the sea one, but every other one is either a rehash from one of the other routes, feels bland, or relies too heavily on gimmicks, ESPECIALLY the Valla maps. They just felt hollow, lifeless, and gimmicky. As for bosses, they were also bland and forgettable, with the crowning achievement of shit going to Gunter. His betrayal was simultaneously obvious, comes out of nowhere, and was nonsensical (if he hated Garon and his worship for Anakos because his family was killed for rejecting the blood of Anakos, why work for Anakos? Also, why not attack Corrin as soon as he first landed in Valla? Why wait until the very end where Corrin is super powerful? And if he hates Corrin so much that he wants to kill him, why did he not attempt that in Conquest, or show up in a Birthright chapter attacking Corrin). And, as par for the course for worst Great Knight ever, his fight is TRASH. Despite apparently receiving immense power from Anakos, he is still a pushover and doesn't present any sort of challenge. And the map was just boring to me. And those are my most hated Fire Emblem bosses so far.
Dude, you just made my day with this comment. I'm with you with the Ryoma battle. That battle wasn't cool at all. Especially right with you with the right hallway.(No pun intended) You bring Keaton paired up with Camilla to go through that hallway with the thought of "I got this!", and after a few ninja shurikens with Poison Strike and Grizzly Wound the Grandmaster unit comes and kills Keaton with one Hp... It made me say screw my first strategy with splitting up my units. And made waste the turn time I had with Ryoma to get everyone from one side to another. I swear the entire game of Fates is bias to Hoshido, Nohr never gets a break.
I have such a hate boner vs Jinpachi in Tekken 5 and I have a good reason...s why. 1 Most of his atacks are crushes , meaning fuck ton of damage then any other character 2. His moves have better frames then any other character , meaning his moves have higher priority over your moves and on top of that his moves barely has any recovery 3. Has a fucking undogeable / spamable stun 4. Has a hp drain (probably the only fair atack he has) 5. Has a teleport / insta uppercut 6. Even if you dodge his unblockable fireball he can shoot 2nd one instantly which is almost unavoidable
Gate was probably worse from the point that he actually had potential that was squandered, which is arguably worse than someone like Flame Hyenard who has zero good points.
Fistleo the Predatoroid. Admittedly, the battle itself isn't that bad if you just want to kill him and get on with it. But unless you want to spend an unprecedented amount of time grinding for E-Crystals, you need a Level 4 Victory. Which means you have to beat him without hitting the hitbox on his head. Which is a lot more difficult than it sounds. This literally gave me an excruciating headache.
Since I never beat it, I just played X6 and fought "him." ...... Oh lord... It was sooooooooooooooooo bad. But if you play as Black Zero, he's easy as pie.
Omega Snake she's cheap, very cheap in the fact she regenerates her health the ENTIRE fight and can combo you like crazy, so you'll have trouble that's for sure
Oh I see. Last time I played Skyward Sword I was at the Lanaryu Mining Facility still. It's been a while since I played it since other games came up. Beaten Twilight Princess HD recently though.
Can I ask what exactly is so bad about Nygtilger from Ys Origin? I've never really had trouble with that fight, except when playing as The Claw. Khonsclard, on the other hand...
Worse boss for me is the final boss from Grandia III. I pretty much have to max out all my characters in order have a decent chance at beating it because between that boss and the one prior, there is a MASSIVE difficulty spike.
I have not faced Yiazmat, but I have faced the turn-based equivalent: the Nyx Avatar from Persona 3. Anyone who wants to play that game (which is otherwise awesome) make sure you have about two hours open in your schedule to wait for that thing to die.
I mean, I can understand why you feel that way since it was tedious because of the multiple forms it has, but I think by that point you already have the strongest Personas of the game, as well as nifty stats to help ease the pain of it being super long. To me, the two bosses that were both annoying and tediously long in 3 were Arcana Hanged Man and Sleeping Table, since you pretty much had to grind for an additional period of time instead of already having a comfortable level facing them.
Since you mentioned Touhou, I'll take a guess and say you're aware of the fan games. Well, my most hated boss is from one of them. Yuyuko Saigyouji from The Genius of Sappheiros is fucking disgusting: 1. She's got absurd amounts of HP for an early-to-mid-game boss, let alone for a double boss. 2. More than half of her attacks hit your entire party for nasty damage, and she can inflict status effects (more on that later) 3. She's almost impossible to damage unless Youmu is defeated first, and Youmu is pretty damn strong herself. 4. Even if Youmu is defeated, she's highly resistant to all sources of damage and status effects. 5. FUCKING *DEATH STATUS.* Not to mention you have to beat her to even get the first decent Death-resisting piece of equipment, and Mokou is the only character who can revive party members that early in the game -(and she's an optional character because fuck you)- with a skill that becomes available *at random.* 6. She can heal herself. It's not a really major heal (approx. what you can deal in 1 or 2 turns) but it's annoying nonetheless. And all that after one the longest dungeons in the game, filled with enemies that can easily wipe your party out (Hresvelgr especially with it's instakill and MP draining attacks) and a ridiculously confusing layout. The one good thing about all this is you get to recruit Youmu after the battle, who is admittedly a pretty decent character. *-but she's level 1-*
I feel like I'm the only person on the planet who enjoys the fight with young xehanort. Also, I wouldn't put parace on my least favorite bosses list because I knew exactly what I was getting myself into; boss scharlachrot however, UGH
Parace.... *Sighs* She is...a problem... And we are the ones who stay determined to deal with that problem! Sooner or later, Fiona and I WILL defeat her! *Clenches fist*
I recently fought young xehanort, but for some reason I didnt have much of a problem facing him, maybe because I had a dream eater that constantly healed me, and also noticed that in his last fase if you avoid his attacks for a while, he'll stop attacking for a while, which gives you enough time to deal damage to the clock.
Normally, I'd be kinda sad if you said you didn't like a boss I like. But since it was Custom Robo, I can't help but be thankful that you mentioned that awesome game!
Eh, Young Xehanort wasn't that bad. Honestly I think the Blackcoat Nightmare was way worse (especially since it has an attack that can put you to 1hp...)
+DeadlockDrago What happens if you get hit it's so the health he drains gets turned into HP balls around the field that the Blackcoat can pick up and heal itself.
10: never played 9: Ben and i would say giganox is worst 8: there’s so many bad fights in the Sonic series so picking one is hard 7: yeah this fight was awful especially how awesome the fight was in the first game was 6: I don’t blame you 5: WORST BATTLE I HAVE EVER FACED ESPECIALLY AS A DIEHARD KH FAN. 4. Took me about an hour a day for a week to beat 3: never played 2: i 10000000000% agree with literally everything said about everything bad about this fight. I quit the game when i first fought lorithia and when i came back, 3 DAYS TO BEAT 1: this fight was terrible. But not as bad as “BUrN To THE GrOunD”
For me nowadays, it's gotta be Okumura from Persona 5 Royal. P5R is my favorite of all time but they managed to take what was already a pretty weak fight in the vanilla game, and make it even worse in Royal by making the robots run away after a couple turns and restarting the respective phase. I spent several in game days grinding and fusing personas WAY higher than my level and I still had less than a minute on the 30 minute time limit when I finally won.
Surprised Plethious was not on the list. From what I have heard no one likes it because of its infamous hip check. I really hope that thing is not in Gen, or at least is not a key quest.
#2: ChuuggaConroy got the Pheonix achievement during this fight, I think. Btw, how to get the pheonix achievement is to get a game over 50 times. 50. #@*/ing. times!!!
I honestly always liked the battles with Rahu (well 1 and 3 anyway). If you pick your parts based on the map and the other robos loadouts, you can usually beat rahu in less then a minute. To me the rahu battles were meant to make players choose their parts and strategies eclectically.
The fun part about Young Xehanort is that he's the Mysterious Figure from Birth By Sleep, so they couldn't make him easier, otherwise that secret boss would have been a different person. BTW, I thought Flame Hyenard from Megaman X7 would be here
Okay, I would dispute your Young Xehanort entry...but my argument is really just that I beat him first try. On Standard. Wargoyle's a better boss from that game to argue about; I have actual defenses for that one (albeit only for Riku's fight).
Awkward or Dull, I mained Melia in Xenoblade Chronicles for the Sole Purpose of her Difficult Control. I'm still not disappointed I did because she deserve more love.
I beg of you, Pleeease do a top ten best/worse dragon quest bosses! Seriously, There is so much talk about final fanasty bosses that I feel dragon quest was just pushed aside. Oh well I can't force you though.
For me, the reason I hated the Khezu, was not only I co stantly got stun locked to death, but there was no music that played whenever I fought him. Just the sounds of the cold wind.
uh quater guy i have a question what happens if you continuously jump on antlion mecha ? cause i tried and i was dodging all the cannonballs by jumping on him
Hey QG. Ever played Custom Robo Arena? I didn't play the original but Arena was fun AF, got me into the franchise, and now I wish we can have more of it.
I've played through Xenoblade many times and never have had any issues with Lorithia. Monado enchant gives your physical attacks an Ether base and uses the least of Shulk's talent gauge. Pair that with Melia, who covers damage when enchant wears off, and Dunban, who is ridiculously fast makes the fight a joke. The most bullshit boss in that game is the Avalanche Abassy with its instadeath damage spike; I know it's a super boss, and the highest leveled enemy in the game, but that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever attempted
I remember Chugga talking about how bad Lorithea's fight is and his personal history with it. Surprised you didn't mention her spaming "You'll pay for your insolence!" like Chugga did. Is it some trend that bosses people hate say lines over and over to the point of memes?
number 4 4 hours? huh. FF xv might be able to top that. Remember that giant turtle from FF XIII? He's back. and he is 10X bigger. the rumor said that he will take about 10 HOURS TO BEAT.
Jasper Batt Jr was an easy fight - Seriously I took him down in a few minutes without losing even half of my health. No idea why so many people have trouble with him.
the ironic thing about your pick for the kingdom hearts boss I beat first try. it's the armor I lost to. I only found out about the time rewind recently.
Hey hey, I wanna guess. One of Harmony of Dissonance's bosses are gonna be here, right? ... No? My bad... Also, is LOVE MAX good in Steam? I felt like I want to suffer things up like you against Parace... That being said, where would she rank in your 'Hated Character' list? Yeah I do remember something about you saying X6 being your guilty pleasure... But I can't seem to recall WHICH video...
#7: Thank you for not putting Million Gunman on the list. Honestly, I feel like criticizing his boss fight is getting to be more overdone than Jasper Batt Jr.
Call me an absolute masochist, but this list really makes me want to fight these bosses for myself, Parace in particular. When I get good at mastering Arcana Heart 3’s mechanics, I’m gonna see what all the rage is about.
13:20 you said number 7 for spoilers yet you show their face ruining the spoiler and before anyone says it had a spoiler warning them what was the point of not saying their name of you expected people who don't the story to not proceed or skip over it good list though !
I'm sorry but how is young xehanort a least favirote fight? not trying to down opinions but the fact that he's hard actually makes the fight more thrilling and honestly what level were you at?
Welcome to Quarter Guy's channel, where you have a higher chance of winning the lottery than seeing a top 10 list without Mega Man, Blaze Blue, Arcana Hearts, Castlevania, or Persona on it
In other words, Yiazmat has over SEVENTY THOUSAND BLISSEYS' WORTH OF HEALTH
Roto
The Quarter Guy I've seen your collaboration cheapest fighting game bosses list and I agree that Parace l'sia is the cheapest boss ever and it only took me 15 tries the first time I beat her
70,000 BLISSEYS?! O O F
I did the math.
Yiazmat has approximately 50994000 HP. That's more than 71420 Blisseys.
> Pyribbit from Kirby Triple Deluxe
Oh, this boss got SO MUCH WORSE in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.
Imagine having to fight the damn thing on a strict time-limit.
Don't remind me. (>__
+CodyMayo It's even worse because one of the challenges requires you to use the Hammer class to beat him. Which IS SO SLOW! I usually like to change up the class I'm using depending on the boss. Oh I feel you.
His DX form in dedede tour and the true arena is worse than his original form.
#3, Just fought her today on THE LOWEST DIFFICULTY SETTING and I can definitely see why she gets so much hate
I've got several bosses, but they can be summed up as such: ALMOST EVERY BOSS FROM POKEMON SUPER MYSTERY DUNGEON! I didn't struggle with the game too much the first time but I agree that we were taken to the story dungeons rather quickly

Another great countdown sir. I highly agreed with number 1. The only thing I liked about fighting Gate was his boss music.
Honestly, all of the music from x6 is great.
***** It made up for some shitty level designs, like Blaze Heatnix's stage.
Homer wouldn't like those donuts
Ramón Elbal Ruiz lol. True
They're actually supposed to be modeled after the Ouroboros snake.
I wasn't expecting to find gate from megaman X6 at all. Yes, it was really hard to beat back when I was a kid, but never thought I would find him in a random list of hard bosses. Oh the memories. Great, annoying, and difficult boss battle

I can resume the annoyance in one phrase "There's no need to cry, it'll be quick". Event-Related Whisper Fuck yea
QG MENTIONED CUSTOM ROBO!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS IS MY "game more people need to play"
And it's not the first time, either. Did you see his list for Smash DLC characters?
You failed to mention that Lointhia spams "You'll pay for your insolence!" every few seconds!
At least she only has one character say it, unlike a certain hyena.
Am I the only one who didn't have trouble with Young Xehanort? I don't know why, I never had trouble beating him. I fought against him recently and still didn't have a problem even though I hadn't picked up the game in several months.
no u r not. beat him first try on proud mode.
DarknessKey 1 Whoa.
+The Shady Reviewer it took a hell of a lot if grinding tho
Nope, beat him pretty easily.
You just HAD TO MENTION HIM DIDN'T YOU...-_-
To beat Matador all you need is a Nekomata with Sukukaja and Media, and an Ame-no Uzume.
Still it can be annoying when you need a very specific set-up in order to beat a boss without over-leveling...
***** Same! Ch.17 is my least favorite chapter. It took me Xander getting a crit at 7% with a 17% hit rate to win.
+Douglas Stewart I have my reasons for liking Ryoma the least of the 8 siblings. That fight is definitely one of them.
I'm about to face Ryoma and reading your comment I really am glad I got the DLC's to over-level my units
11:15 Y'know I've never played any of the Arcana Heart games, but if a boss does what it just did there, that sums up the boss quite nicely.
Silverzero Be glad she's optional.
I have such a hate boner vs Jinpachi in Tekken 5 and I have a good reason...s why.
1 Most of his atacks are crushes , meaning fuck ton of damage then any other character
2. His moves have better frames then any other character , meaning his moves have higher priority over your moves and on top of that his moves barely has any recovery
3. Has a fucking undogeable / spamable stun
4. Has a hp drain (probably the only fair atack he has)
5. Has a teleport / insta uppercut
6. Even if you dodge his unblockable fireball he can shoot 2nd one instantly which is almost unavoidable
I was half expecting Flame Hyenard to be somewhere on this list.
Burn burn burn to the ground burn to the ground!
Me too.
Nah, he ripped that one hard enough in the Worst Mavericks list and probably doesn't want to bring up the subject again.
Gate was probably worse from the point that he actually had potential that was squandered, which is arguably worse than someone like Flame Hyenard who has zero good points.
Quinton Blackburn BURN, BURN, BURN TO THE- BURN! BURN TO THE GROUND!
I feel you man, i have to use save states as well also, his charging attack can be unpredictable
Since I never beat it, I just played X6 and fought "him."
...... Oh lord... It was sooooooooooooooooo bad. But if you play as Black Zero, he's easy as pie.
Who was it high max, gate, infinity mjinion ?
At least gate's orbs don't reverse your controls.
I found the Black Coat Nightmare to be MUCH worse. that one attack that can drain you to 1 HP and he can pick up the HP orbs to heal himself.
16:39
Goddamn it, EVERYWHERE I GO, IT'S THOSE DAMN PACHA MEMES. ;~;
But in all seriousness, a well-done list!~
knew Parace was going to make the list...
she would be on my list too...
say snake willeu do a boss fight withher?
+White Darkness when we are ready for round 3
Omega Snake oh o.k then
Omega Snake she's cheap, very cheap in the fact she regenerates her health the ENTIRE fight and can combo you like crazy, so you'll have trouble that's for sure
"Oh look a boss from Skyward Sword is on the list?"
Not a fan of Skyward Sword?
I never said that.
Oh I see. Last time I played Skyward Sword I was at the Lanaryu Mining Facility still. It's been a while since I played it since other games came up. Beaten Twilight Princess HD recently though.
meta527II
Oh I see but I haven't got to that part so I wouldn't know.
I lost the Imprison in the second fight all because I missed once with the catapult!
I hate the third fight more than the second
Can I ask what exactly is so bad about Nygtilger from Ys Origin? I've never really had trouble with that fight, except when playing as The Claw. Khonsclard, on the other hand...
I wonder how many people notice the change in character near the end of the Parace Segment?
I did.
+Axl EXE nice
Did you finish killing the Blinker population?
@@psychie8625 let's just say....I painted the castle red with their blood
@@omegasnake18 I thought so.
BlazingWaters
Actually, the first twelve forms were fine. It was the Death form that took forever to die.
Ise no Kami Oh alright, that makes sense
Why did you refer to Fiora as #7 when her portrait could be seen right there?
To not spoil a plot twist earlier in the game I assume.
Am I the only one pointing out him calling Melia "the squishiest"
+Cyber Kirby Kled would pwn melia, because he squashes squishies...
"Holy shit where are we"
Since you mentioned Touhou, I'll take a guess and say you're aware of the fan games.
Well, my most hated boss is from one of them. Yuyuko Saigyouji from The Genius of Sappheiros is fucking disgusting:
1. She's got absurd amounts of HP for an early-to-mid-game boss, let alone for a double boss.
2. More than half of her attacks hit your entire party for nasty damage, and she can inflict status effects (more on that later)
3. She's almost impossible to damage unless Youmu is defeated first, and Youmu is pretty damn strong herself.
4. Even if Youmu is defeated, she's highly resistant to all sources of damage and status effects.
5. FUCKING *DEATH STATUS.* Not to mention you have to beat her to even get the first decent Death-resisting piece of equipment, and Mokou is the only character who can revive party members that early in the game -(and she's an optional character because fuck you)- with a skill that becomes available *at random.*
You know the worst part, while the Gate, Nightmare Mother and High Max are brutal, the Sigma fight is a joke, especially with the Shadow Armor.
15:09 OK, so what is it? Dracula from Castlevania 2 or Flame Hyenard?
15:36 Oh, yeah. This guy. I forgot him.
awesome list, QG! my personal least favorite boss is actually a tie between the two final bosses of Paper Mario Sticker Star
QG, I feel your pain about rhe Khezu. The worst this thing got for me is when it roars 5 TIMES IN A ROW. Im not jokeing they can do that.
14:54 I like Pyribbit boss fight. Not super easy like most of the bosses of the franchise. Not all of the bosses, i said most of them.
On the original 3DS version? Or the HD version in 2.8?
Young Xehanort got nerfed in HD.
@@HarbingerYT HD
Do I detect Shantae & The Pirates Curse at 0:25? :)
1:23
So THAT'S where that one song I used in a Cult of Personality Flipnote came from!!!!
Normally, I'd be kinda sad if you said you didn't like a boss I like. But since it was Custom Robo, I can't help but be thankful that you mentioned that awesome game!
I don't know why, but I keep thinking of the Giganox when I see the Khezu. I have no idea why.
Would you mind telling me all the games in your new intro? I've been going insane trying to figure out the ones at 0:17 and 0:18.
Eh, Young Xehanort wasn't that bad. Honestly I think the Blackcoat Nightmare was way worse (especially since it has an attack that can put you to 1hp...)
yeah that attack was annoying AF. I found young xehanort first try on proud mode
Was it anything like Sephiroth in KH1?
+DeadlockDrago did he get the chance to heal from said attack?
MegaBites456 If you have an item to do so, because it also took away all of your mp. Though it can be interrupted.
+DeadlockDrago What happens if you get hit it's so the health he drains gets turned into HP balls around the field that the Blackcoat can pick up and heal itself.
Just one word(or two)
Bed of Chaos *deep breath* *longer deep breath* *even longer breath* aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
10: never played
9: Ben and i would say giganox is worst
8: there’s so many bad fights in the Sonic series so picking one is hard
7: yeah this fight was awful especially how awesome the fight was in the first game was
6: I don’t blame you
5: WORST BATTLE I HAVE EVER FACED ESPECIALLY AS A DIEHARD KH FAN.
4. Took me about an hour a day for a week to beat
3: never played
2: i 10000000000% agree with literally everything said about everything bad about this fight. I quit the game when i first fought lorithia and when i came back, 3 DAYS TO BEAT
1: this fight was terrible.
This is what happens when metaphors intrude on boss design.
Did it ruin the game for you?
Surprised Plethious was not on the list. From what I have heard no one likes it because of its infamous hip check. I really hope that thing is not in Gen, or at least is not a key quest.
Edit: I looked it up and it is a High Rank Urgent. I think I will stay in low rank for a boy longer.
#2: ChuuggaConroy got the Pheonix achievement during this fight, I think. Btw, how to get the pheonix achievement is to get a game over 50 times. 50. #@*/ing. times!!!
+CharaDreemerr To quote the almighty Jontron "WHAT! WHAT THE FUCK!?"
Somehow I'm not surprised to see her on the list.
BTW, I thought Flame Hyenard from Megaman X7 would be here
Oh, and never got much trouble against Young Xehanort. Dustflier and Wargoyle are a different and worse case
I had trouble with Leechgrave than Dustflier
6:54 Fun fact: the second Imprisoned fight is the reason I stopped playing Skyward Sword.
I honestly think that #1 should be Red from X7 not Gate.
Pretty much.
Although, to be honest, I think almost every boss in X7 makes Gate's fight seem relaxing.
Lite 64 I beat gate on my first try so yeah...
High Max deserves that spot.
At least red cant destroy platforms and can be hurt by regular weapons
Well, red, for the most part, IS 3D gate, he CAN at least be damaged by normal weapons
Instead of New Destroyman, I would've picked Million Gunman
Okay, I would dispute your Young Xehanort entry...but my argument is really just that I beat him first try. On Standard. Wargoyle's a better boss from that game to argue about; I have actual defenses for that one (albeit only for Riku's fight).
Awkward or Dull, I mained Melia in Xenoblade Chronicles for the Sole Purpose of her Difficult Control.
I'm still not disappointed I did because she deserve more love.
You don't hate X6 as much as Clement. Dear Arceus , does Clement hate X6.
Does he hate X7 as much as QG does?
I beg of you, Pleeease do a top ten best/worse dragon quest bosses! Seriously, There is so much talk about final fanasty bosses that I feel dragon quest was just pushed aside. Oh well I can't force you though.
For me, the reason I hated the Khezu, was not only I co stantly got stun locked to death, but there was no music that played whenever I fought him. Just the sounds of the cold wind.
I for one want to know why Max Dood hasn't done a Boss Rage against Parace yet.
This video is a 3 days early birthday present. I'll take it! Thank you Quarter Guy!
I KNEW PARACE WOULD BE HERE!
No mention of the infamous line from Loritha?
12:42 just like no one talked talked about yiazmat before, like EVER
uh quater guy i have a question
what happens if you continuously jump on antlion mecha ?
cause i tried and i was dodging all the cannonballs by jumping on him
Will you do a top 10 least favorite final bosses list QG-San?
10:56 Saw this coming, too.
I'm pretty sure everyone did.
1:27 you might be happy to know there is custom Robo arena for the DS it's a good game
Going to be completely honest here, I just level grinded until Lorithia no longer represented a big problem, it was either that or lose my sanity.
Hey Quarter Guy will you ever do another live stream to beat Parace L'sia
we probably will hopefully soon.
number 4
4 hours? huh. FF xv might be able to top that. Remember that giant turtle from FF XIII? He's back. and he is 10X bigger. the rumor said that he will take about 10 HOURS TO BEAT.
Coming back after 7 Years, Thank GOD NMH3 gave us a much more fun idea with Neo Destroyman
Huh, Flame Hyendard isn't on the list or in the Dishonorable Mentions. That's pretty surprising.
+Alan Wright One per franchise.
Jasper Batt Jr was an easy fight - Seriously I took him down in a few minutes without losing even half of my health. No idea why so many people have trouble with him.
what difficulty?
on bitter he is a pain and on death match he is so hard still haven't beaten him to this day
the ironic thing about your pick for the kingdom hearts boss I beat first try. it's the armor I lost to. I only found out about the time rewind recently.
I learned how to topple lock lorithia everytime she tried to resummon her minons back, making my time with her a bit easier. it was still hell though.
Remember fighting #9 in MHG. Was annoying, especially with trying to mount it, but could have been worse. Was it better or worse for you in that game?
Hey hey, I wanna guess. One of Harmony of Dissonance's bosses are gonna be here, right?
... No? My bad...
Also, is LOVE MAX good in Steam? I felt like I want to suffer things up like you against Parace... That being said, where would she rank in your 'Hated Character' list?
Yeah I do remember something about you saying X6 being your guilty pleasure... But I can't seem to recall WHICH video...
Surprised flame henyard didn't even make the top 10 oe even dishonorable mentions. These bosses must've been real bad in comparison.
#7: Thank you for not putting Million Gunman on the list. Honestly, I feel like criticizing his boss fight is getting to be more overdone than Jasper Batt Jr.
Thanks for putting Khezu on there, QG! I know SEVERAL people, myself included, that absolutely HATE that monster.
The only bosses on this list I've actually fought are New Destroyman and the Antlion. I need to play more games.
Hey The Quarter Guy, do you think maybe you can do Top 10 Cyborgs in Video Games soon Please? :)
Why didn't u put the 3rd fight on the list? (The Imprisoned)
Call me an absolute masochist, but this list really makes me want to fight these bosses for myself, Parace in particular. When I get good at mastering Arcana Heart 3’s mechanics, I’m gonna see what all the rage is about.
How did that go?
Considering you've played the game now (I think) will you re do a final boss list (or do a True final boss list) with Asura's Wrath in it.
13:20 you said number 7 for spoilers yet you show their face ruining the spoiler and before anyone says it had a spoiler warning them what was the point of not saying their name of you expected people who don't the story to not proceed or skip over it good list though !
I love the part where Quarter Guy encounters Parace L'sia and all of a sudden he has haunting flashbacks.
moustapha diaby V-Triggered
***** Exactly!
I'm sorry but how is young xehanort a least favirote fight? not trying to down opinions but the fact that he's hard actually makes the fight more thrilling and honestly what level were you at?
What about the Jameson Robo from Arena? That thing can't even be downed!
5:07 Even after getting punched through windows?
Welcome to Quarter Guy's channel, where you have a higher chance of winning the lottery than seeing a top 10 list without Mega Man, Blaze Blue, Arcana Hearts, Castlevania, or Persona on it
Or Wonderful 101... Or Xenoblade
I’m surprised Demyx didn’t make the list
“Dance Water Dance”
