I didn’t see a reason why the judges would give the second round to Vero. Although Vero was original, Issei was more dynamic, he was able to traverse the stage using his moves, he was able to switch levels in his rounds. They both were able to listen to the music but in the end Issei was well rounded in his showcase. If Vero had moves wherein he changes level ls like (Airflares, Halos, Headspins, 90s, 00s) not just glides and hammers then he might’ve swayed this battle to his favor. If you also analyze Vero’s 1 on 1 matches he usually does well for top 16 - Top 8 matches but he loses to variety once he battles well rounded bboys. I mean there are only a handful of glides/hammer variation you can use against bboys who can chain low-hi level moves.
As long as he improves his musicality top rock floor rock and foot work and add new power moves he will win again and the first to win 2 times in a row!
