Got one of these sola blankets, for the price there well made. cant fault mine and does an awesome job at keeping the battery charged on a cloudy day even.
Hey Chris, I have used it a few times on a couple of trips and has been awesome so far. Mainly using it to top up a dual battery system in my 4wd for our fridge. So far so good!

Question - can you bypass the ridge Ryder solar controller that comes with the blanket, and plug directly onto a solar controller?

The solar controller is not built into the blanket at all so you can use whatever solar controller you like.
looks like a good setup ... keen to know how you are going with the solar blanket.. has there been any loss of power input over time and use.
