    I think if your intellectually honest with yourself, every religion has something to learn from it, but unfortunately it also always has that dogmatic baggage and nonsensical elements that he's talking about. I agree that you have to find that objective, universal truth and build off of that but that's certainly no easy task. I have troubles sometimes trying to reconcile man's mental ability to create his own "reality" and the actual reality of the universe, that concept of "Dharma" or "Logos". I can state things that I believe to be 100 true, the problem is, completing that worldview due to the more cloudy aspects of reality and spirituality.

    I decided I wanted to be a shaman a long time ago, I figured (as in, decided out of my @$$) that to become a shaman I would need to die and be revived, take a life, revive someone else, and bring a life into this world, and usher a life out. I've ticked off at least one of these things so far.
    How on point am I for having never done any book readin' on the topic?
