How many turns of crank shaft in repeating the timing chain marks? and how many turns of crank shaft in the balance shaft marks? my timing chain marks can repeat while turning crank shaft many times, but the balance shaft marks looks never repeating again with my timing chain marks at same time.
Hi, man, another question for you : this engine has two thermostats which are at the inlet and outlet of the engine. After you rebuilt the engine you will add coolant from the radiator and prepare for the first start. I am confused how the coolant enters the engine block? Because there is no coolant inside the engine at this time, and both thermostats are in the off state.
If you see a coolant with a radiator cap, turn off the cap and start the engine. After a while, turn off the engine and check the coolant again. Do this 3-4 times and show that the coolant will become a flower
@@Autoenginecheck Yes, it should go and I don't think it have to be added the coolant into the engine block before put the engine head bolts on but I could not understand how to build the first flow because both hoses of the radiator are blocked by thermostats. may be i think the coolant goes into the block through the tiny jiggle valve of the thermostats , i just thinking but no evidence which i googled on internet.
i need some help i have blown the head gasket on my mr20 it seem as if it worked on before they say it might skip timing if it skim do you tink its ok to rebuild or buy a new one??
Timing chain if the head gasket is bad or the head works. The chain tensioner damper is better given new and chain. If the chain tensioner is good, it is best to give a new damper because the chain is running on it all the time
