Honestly, yeah. They're badass mercs who are no joke at all. They're smart, they fight together, not one at a time, they pull him down by the cape, etc. When the goons are strong and threatening, it makes the hero way more badass.
Its a shame they didn't do a solo Batman movie where he beats up thugs and does investigations into crimes, but nope they make him fight super powered villains with super powered hero's, what's even the point
I think this is one of the most realistic fights of Batman, the bad guys try to attack him at the same time, Batman use his environment, the few times he gets shot you hear him making sounds of pain, because as we know, a bulletproof suit protects you from bullets but you feel strong blows, when batman was shot in the head it is as if he had been hit, other very realistic aspects are that he does not come out unscathed and does not catch the strikes in the air, he covers or dodge them, you have to analyze the fight to notice its realism, because if someone tells you that a batman fight is realistic, it is probably to think that it is not.
According to comic book lore batman's dark Knight persona came from the frank Miller's version where batman was forced to break his code and he did it since. thats the version that Ben Affleck portrait
Apparently back when they first created the character he had no regard for killing for his opponents either! I had no idea, I always understood him to have the no killing rule. The Frank Miller series are always a bit darker so it makes sense! Thank you for the info!
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 in 1940s Batman was seen using guns in the comics. Which is why in Flashpoint Thomas Wayne (as Batman) is seen using guns. Kind of a call back to old school Batman.
Less Affleck's portrayal than Snyder's death-obsessed way of making films. A reticence to kill is always portrayed as weakness, and becoming someone willing to kill without care is depicted as positive growth. Snyder knows Batman has to be shown as cool, therefore Batman has to be completely fine with killing people. The entire 'he deliberately brands people so they get murdered in prison' beat is there for this exact reason.
@@Xrayflames You're not wrong, but Batman would have heard about the branded criminals being murdered, regardless of whether Luthor was paying for it to happen or not, and continued to brand criminals. Luthor may be more directly culpable for the deaths of branded inmates, but Batman choosing to continue branding criminals after a pattern became clear means he also shares in the blame.
Except that batman not killing Ras is an absolute lie. He DID kill Ras, because it was batman the one responsible for the train to fall. You can't provoque an accident knowing that it could kill someone and say that you didn't kill them. Baleman also kill like a lot.
The fact that people can't describe Marvel films any other way apart from they're "fun", tells you everything. Marvel/Disney has brainwashed everyone in to thinking that all superhero movies should be bright and colourful, with a tonne of jokes. It's a shame really because DC/Snyder films were trying to deliver something different and got criticised for it. People missing out because they're too narrow minded.
Yea dude people think all superheroes movies should be same like marvel ,i mean i like marvel i love civil war and infinity war at the same i also love BvS they are unique , grounded and more serious
Yes! After enjoying a dozen of Marvel films, watching BvS was actually quite refreshing and the Ultimate Edition was a lot better than what people make of this movie..
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 Hey, I know some ppl have a problem with Christian bale's batman voice, but I thought it was perfect in batman begins, but got worse in the dark knight and rises. However, why bother faking his voice when he revealed his identity to Rachel in literal 5 seconds?

@@BurridgeMartialArts604 come on ultimate cut doesn't impact any extra on this movie. Hence it has some extra footage which expend some scenes even more proper but again it doesn't make that theatrical cut was bad. I have watched that i enjoyed that. He's the Batman from the Dark Knight Returns story as a basis. He is jaded and tired. He has lost Robin, and has seen that all his work hasn't changed Gotham. He is dark and brutal and the culmination of the movie shows his move towards redemption, and becoming something of the hero he was supposed to be.
Batman is canonically brutal when he fights and consistently breaks bones and severely damages opponents. His philosophy is more suited to making them fear doing it again.
that's what i like about Zack's vision. he don't want to be Marvel-ish, he approaches us DC fans with whole new thing. and i'm not saying everyone shud accept it, but for me, it works.
In every Batman movie that has ever been released, Batman has either directly or indirectly killed somebody. I think they just made a big deal about this one because it was done by Zack Snyder. But this is supposedly a Dark Knight Returns version of Batman who is quite jaded. And most of the brutality that he displays on people is quite the same as he does in the comic books
On point. btw, TDKR Bat shoots a guy right between the eyes to save a kid. I know people love to debate that but if you take out any preconceived notion of what you think should happen and not knowing his rule, it's clear as day what happened there. People just don't want to admit it. Regarding brutality, yes you are also correct. Breaking bones, stabbing, and making thugs bleed is nothing new.
A guy pulls out a grenade, Batman defends himself and the grenade goes off on the guy and people yell... "Batman doesn't kill!" Get real. Batman isn't an outright murderer. He isn't going to have you dead to rights and kill you. But bet you the kind of injuries people would have sustained by Batman, people could definitely die from it. Point is, if you live in Gotham, don't be a bad guy
Snyder specificaly said that they tryed to go for a Batman that doesn't kill, but doesn't really have a problem with bad guys getting killed through "their own fault". Bunch of guys pull out guns? Don't get surprised if some of you get shot. Is that a granade? Shouldn't have brought it to a fist fight...
@@AndreyKrichevsky So that is Snyder lying. I like Snyder films but he in the Batmobile guns down people with what appears to be some kind large machine gun. I don't have an issue of Batman being portrayed like this, especially if he is meant to be a fallen batman.
I don’t get it when people say “I wish it wasn’t such a dark movie”. Look, it’s a different version, a different telling of the story. If it was the same as the others just because “that’s what people like about Marvel”…we’ll then they may aswell just let Marvel make super hero films. Some of us actually like the more serious telling of a super hero. I think Afflecks Batman is better than Bale’s as for one think, could a man really do a throaty voice every time he changes? That’s not realistic? Afflecks Batman has a voice changer. I think Zack Snyder’s DC universe is the best so far…
I like that DC did go dark, it wouldn't make sense to me (with my incredibly limited understanding in of the comics) to go light and airy like Marvel. I just enjoy light hearted. Movies personally. But after reading the comments and learning more about the characters i definitely have a greater understanding and appreciation of the movie and am excited to watch the Snyder Cut with fresh eyes
This “I hate Martha scene” has come so recycle ♻️ over the years, to the point where it’s pathetic, people are followers, I know damn well, when people were watching BvS, people were not thinking nor worried about that Martha scene after it happened, they have brainwashed people into thinking that scene was bad & useless, in reality...they just took off of what they heard from someone else!
I will admit, maybe the memory of that scene and the aftermath of the critics panning has tainted my memory of the movie. I'm looking forward to rewatching the Snyder cut and seeing it how it was intended!
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 Definately worth a watch. Even though it's called the "ultimate edition" I personaly call it "the actual movie edition". The theatrical version is like a season of a tv show with some episodes missing and others shown out of order...
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 I think the biggest thing with the Martha scene is that Bruce realizes he's not about to kill a criminal. Obviously this Batman kills. A lot. He's jaded. But he's only ever killed killers who are active threats to himself and others. Robin was murdered by the Joker (someone said 10 years prior), and he snapped, realizing the criminals all just ended up back on the streets. But Superman didn't do anything wrong. Batman wanted to murder him out of anger and fear. He was willing to kill Superman just because *if* he turned bad, then he would do untold damage. Even as Clark thought he was dying, he said his mother's name, begging Batman to find and save her.
To me it just shows how deeply affected Batman was from losing his mother (and father). But yeah, now that people say are more in touch with mental health issues lets bash the Batman because he´s not Marvel.
Batman lost his way and is fallen as others have said. This scene however symbolizes the beginning of his resurrection...saving Martha instead of killing Clark.
I wasn’t a huge fan of this movie, but this scene is awesome. And this Batman kills, he doesn’t give a flying eff. Technically more realistic if you ask me, sometimes a badass has to put someone on the floor so they won’t get up.
yeah but we all know his no killing code is for different reasons its because batman believes that if he kills someone he would be no different from them he even has a quote to red hood by saying "if you kill a murderer the numbers of murderers on the world wouldnt change" and he also said he is afraid if he cant stop once he crosses that line so i like it more with the no killing code
Batman doesn't kill people but he does have a brutal fighting style and usually leaves criminals with serious injuries even though he doesn't kill them. Even in the comics his son, Damian Wayne asks him "you aren't willing to kill anyone but you're fine leaving them with life long injuries ?". So yeah this scene did a good job at portraying batman's fighting styles according to the source material.
I have since I learned I was misinformed haha! Although after everything everyone has been talking about in the comments, I'm definitely interested in checking the comics out, not sure where to start thouhh
This Batman is heavily inspired by Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns. He doesn’t kill in that but he paralyzed someone then says to a cop, he’s young he’ll walk again. DC actually made an animated version that’s pretty good but in the comic you see Bruce’s inner monologue and you see how truly insane he is.
As cool as the whole fight looks, there are 2 specific moments that i like the most, that showcase exactly the nature of batman. First is when he pops out of the ground and blows up the guns. Using shock and intimidation to throw everyone off guard, to the point where one of the henchmen is still shooting into the hole in the floor because he didn't even see Batman fly up and is confused about what's going on. The second is the part where batman is taken down by the cape and then stabbed. The fight is dragging on, the element of surprise is gone, batman is getting tired. So his big weakness comes into play - he's just a guy. Half of his stuff is theatrics, and now that the bad guys see through it because they had the time to take a closer look, they can start fighting back effectivey. But then, he's still Batman, so he deals with it...
This is one of the best fight scenes and best Batman fight scenes ever! I like how you can see how good of a hunter/fighter Batman is,He's not just taking on random thugs, those guys are trained killers!😮I Love this!❤️
@@TJ-fe7rr I think off it as he never had intentions to kill and then after years and years off sticking to the same rule. Think like with the joker if batman would have killed that phyco when he had the chance. Robin wouldn't have been killed by the joker. Batman sooner or later realised sometimes you've got to bend the rules to help others
In the more recent movies, the whole 'Batman doesn't kill' and 'Batman does not use guns' has been left behind in the comics, although he doesn't use many guns at all. A few though.
I find it interesting that one of the main take aways people have from the character of Batman is that he doesn't kill, and yet in almost every cinematic version Batman does kill people, either directly or indirectly. At least in BVS there are actual reasons why he kills, whereas other versions either ignore the rule or make a huge deal of the rule and then still have him kill anyway.
I have learned I was apparently gravely misinformed about the no kill rule haha! I was under the impression it was a more or less 'hard rule' for the character. My main experience with batman is Arkham City so that's where my knowledge comes from! Hearing from all you guys has definitely made me more interested in giving the comics a go and getting a better understanding of the characters
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 Yeah, the no kill rule is a bit complicated. A lot of comic writers really stand by it and a lot of others kinda ignore it or find loopholes. A lot of the cartoons and video games really emphasize the no killing thing, but it's really varies from version to version in the comics and the movies. I would definitely give the comics a go if you're interested, they can be really cool.
Yes he kills in BVS, that's the whole thing. He's over the edge, as they describe it in interviews morally bankrupt. The realisation he comes to at the end is that he was wrong, and he tries to rectify that by honouring Superman and forming the Justice League in the next film.
Snyder said he used to be the Batman we all know and love but after 20 years of fighting crime and not getting anywhere he became like this ,realistically i think this would happen to Bruce over a long war
I personally think that including The Batman this is the single best Batman fight scene done. It’s got a certain level of violence and anger to it matched with skill. I would have enjoyed seeing Snyders version of The Dark Knight Returns.

Affleck's Batman had been batman for 20 years at the point of the movie and he was broken when his Robin was killed, so that's when he broke his "no kill" rule. This Batman kills and doesn't care until he is redeemed by Superman's death and resurrection in JL. So Affleck's Batman after this movie doesn't kill people anymore. That being said, every other Batman has killed people in their movies except George Clooney's batman. Also when you said Affleck is Huge, that's an understatement. He is 6'4" and was 230lbs and the time of filming and at 8% body fat (according to his wife). So he got more massive than already was in normal life.
Been watching several of your takes on these movies... Enjoyed all of them so far. Favorite reaction thus far is the one where the dude throws a missed round kick into the metal beam... made me jump too... Keep up the great vids man. Subbed
It is a very well choreographed scene for sure. Upon rewatching it afterwards (on my bigger monitor) I did have an easier time seeing all the action, and had a better appreciation of the scene. I, personally, really like the colorful scheme of the Marvel movies, but think DC has been doing great things lately and I'm looking forward to the Snyder Cut (never saw Justice League yet) and the new Batman movie this year too
I just always remember thinking it was funny that he wasn't supposed to kill people and then he beats everybody within an inch of their life and we are supposed to believe that they all survived
The no kill rule is kinda iffy On one hand, a lot of these thugs are just trying to get on by and eat But on the other hand, you can use Bale’s Batman logic “I’m not gonna kill you. But I don’t have to save you.” In that instance, the villain made their choice and was ready to die for it.
True plus didn't Michael Keaton blow up a big man from batman returns? Then he tricked two face to fall down a rocky well (with robin watching him)? Didn't he also blow up rhas al ghuls house with all those ninjas still inside? Technically that's still murder
Interesting enough, that mentality is addressed in the 'Knightfall' saga. JPV Batman intentionally lets a guy die and when Bruce hears of it, he realizes JPV Batman is corrupting what Batman is. This is the catalyst that drives Bruce to take back the mantle.
They should have just allowed Snyder to make the 'BvS: Enter the Knight' and then go on with 'BvS: Dawn of Justice' as Nolan and Snyder initially planned. Making them condense the plot of the two movies into one was a mistake.
People keep talking about Batman breaking his “one rule,” In this movie. I personally don’t mind. I would also like to point out that the marvel movies kill bad guys all the time. They even crack jokes in between.
One thing is certain: Nolan should learn from Zack Snyder how to make a badass hero, and awsome fight scenes. And Zack Snyder should learn with Nolan how to make a well written script and emotional meaningful scenes
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed it. I understand people are passionate about what they love, it's what makes people interesting, I have really loved reading the comments and learning more about the characters and the batman universe. It's a shame some people took it as me trying to badmouth DC or Batman, but I do understand, I would be upset too if I thought someone was making fun of something I loved! I never intended it that way
While I love the no kill rule for Batman, it’s kind of redundant considering that he’s consistently shown maiming and crippling people throughout his career. Yeah he doesn’t kill but some of the criminals that he’s fought are definitely going to be eating through a straw and sitting in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives lol.
I personally love how DC goes a little darker than Marvel does. It’s a good balance between the light heartedness of the MCU and Batman is supposed to be “dark”.
I do too! I loved the joker movie with its dark tones and haven't seen the new batman yet but am excited for that. I just thought that the MCU has done a better job of putting it together than the DCEU so far. Hopefully they can turn it around, would be great to get some quality movies out of it
the "no kill" rule tho added to the comics only because the wanted repeat villains and in the older comics he killed all his foes, that and the fact comics in the late 60's 70's were meant to be cleaner. but it became a very important part of his character and all his reasons for doing thing and is the key part of some of his best stories including this one where if you know the context robin, Dick Grayson in this universe, was killed by the joker and in this cannon bruce couldn't take it and stopped caring if he killed criminals to a point that Alfred and even Jim Gordon think he's lost his edge and needs help. so the "no kill" rule is very much NOT BS.
"Batman's not supposed to kill people" This Batman kills people. This is Batman after 20 years on the job, 20 years of dealing with the worst humanity has to offer. This is after Joker beat Robin to death with a crowbar. This Batman is old, tired, jaded, and isn't sure why he even keeps trying.

This Batman kills because he has been broken spiritually by his friends becoming enemies, villains always escaping to kill again, Robin being killed by Joker / Harley, etc (there are lines in the movie referencing this). It isn't until he fights Superman, sees this "god" show humanity and concern for another (Martha) that he starts to reconcile his position. Also, this isn't even confined to the DCEU version. Keaton's Batman killed (witness the opening to Batman Returns for example), Kilmer's Batman caused the death of Two-Face, Bale's Batman also killed Two-Face, let Ra's al Ghul die on the train, and was OK with Bane being killed by Selina. Even the goody-two-shoes Christopher Reeve version of Superman killed Zod in Superman II (original cut) by tossing him to his death in the Fortress of Solitude. A lot of the vitriol aimed at Batfleck killing was more that they just didn't want to like the character / movie and "he doesn't kill" is what they latched on to, ignoring the reasoning given in the BvS movie for him being that way and ignoring all the other versions that have also killed on-screen, never mind in the comics too. Enjoyed your video though, mate. Been working my way through a few now after being recommended one this morning.
To be fair 90% of DC movies have been light while the comics have been dark so it makes sense naturally that a director would want to go that way instead of the campy things we got back in the day
Every batman has Killed. Keaton killed with a smile on his face. Clooney cracked wise while tossing goons off multiple story buildings. Batfleck just does it more physically, 😅😅😅
These movies will be talked about for decades and will encapsulate the harts of many. Chris Reeve did that in 78. No one has managed to fly like Reeve since. Reeve know how to fly.
Yes, he didn't kill people but in this scene he was broke and angry.People need to understood this, they're just angry at Zack Snyder for no reason, but in JL he was weak, in animated he is badass
@@dianamon2727 Broke means not in terms of money but was emotionally broke and angry, In bvs it shows the clothes of Robin, Also there were some writings on it which joker wrote, So that's the reason why Batman was........
In the Martha scene, When Superman says Save Martha, Batman sees his younger self in Superman and himself as the robber who killed his parents, that’s why he stopped, he realised Superman was just as human as he is. And that is also the reason why the movie opens with Bruce’s parents getting killed because it served as parallel to the Martha scene
I thought that Michael Cane was a serviceable Alfred, but he didn’t care enough about the fact that basically his son was putting his life in danger every night. He was also overly emotional. Jeremy Irons played Alfred as a father figure that was sick of his sons shit and begrudgingly accepted the fact that Bruce can die any day. I liked Irons a lot more.
Also, I prefer DC for taking themselves too seriously. If an all powerful alien fell from the sky, Jeff Basos was trying to kill it and Elon Musk was Dressing up as a bat and killing criminals, it wouldn’t be all fun and campy. It’d be mass hysteria. It’d be dark and taken very seriously. Something like the DCEU would’ve be more akin to reality. When Thor came to earth in the MCU, nobody even cared. They’re fun movies, but not akin to reality.
PPS. Batman kills in almost every interpretation. Batfleck was only less hypocritical of it. The “no killing” rule isn’t written in stone for the character.
I did really enjoy the serious take they took with the Joker and thought it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. That dark and gritty storytelling definitely has a lot of pluses to it. I am really hoping they lean in to that with the upcoming Batman movie as well. It's not that I didn't like the darker DC movies as opposed to Marvel, I just think that Marvel has had more time to discover their identity with the MCU and roll with it. The first and second Thor movies tried to be a bit serious and just weren't great but the third one was a great time because it leaned into the goofiness of it all. I think the DCEU has a lot of potential (I am not a comic book reader so can't speak to those). If it turns out anything like DC's animated series it will be incredible! They definitely have Marvel beat there. Again, all in my humble opinion as someone who knows nothing about the universes outside of the movies haha!!!
I think the lighting IMO with the Batman scenes are very fitting! Because that's how it usually is in the comics and animated series. Very good video btw!
Batfleck is a beast and his voice is how Batman should sound. Voice modulator. It's so much better than "WHERE'S THE TRIGGER" like you rolling into a Chevron and hear a crackhead talking to himself...
Do people not remember what Harvey said in the dark knight? If u don't then he said "u either die a hero or u live long enough to see yourself become the villain" so think about it Snyder wanted to show us that batman who has seen him self become a villain and has lost his way.
About the whole "Martha" thing. The way Batman reacted to Superman saying "Martha" could be a consequence of PTSD. I'm not a psychologist, but don't ppl with PTSD react violently to "triggers" and such?
btw your are wrong about batman not killing people lol in the comics he did .... if u watch the extended cut of this movie...its much better than the cinematic cut...you get to really see batman why he does it, why he has given up trying not to kill...its told in dialogue, its told visually, its told through the actions of bruce, u get to see more of superman why he thinks the batman should be stopped...and what pits them against each other... i think the only thing standing in DC way is WB..glad zack findally gets a chance to show his vision

The most mature comment regarding snyder

Point is, if you live in Gotham, don't be a bad guy
That's a great point to think on... For those who yells, "batman doesn't kills"...
Snyder specificaly said that they tryed to go for a Batman that doesn't kill, but doesn't really have a problem with bad guys getting killed through "their own fault". Bunch of guys pull out guns? If it was the same as the others just because “that’s what people like about Marvel”…we’ll then they may aswell just let Marvel make super hero films. Some of us actually like the more serious telling of a super hero. I think Afflecks Batman is better than Bale’s as for one think, could a man really do a throaty voice every time he changes?
Dont give a shit about a realism, what i do care is being true to the character
Batman doesn't kill people but he does have a brutal fighting style and usually leaves criminals with serious injuries even though he doesn't kill them. Even in the comics his son, Damian Wayne asks him "you aren't willing to kill anyone but you're fine leaving them with life long injuries ?". So yeah this scene did a good job at portraying batman's fighting styles according to the source material.
Ah yes, more “Batman doesn’t kill” from non comic readers.

@@BurridgeMartialArts604 you can try to start from First Rebirth Volume or New 52
This Batman is heavily inspired by Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns. He doesn’t kill in that but he paralyzed someone then says to a cop, he’s young he’ll walk again. If a martial arts instructor says that this fight is very realistic, then you know that this scene was a masterpiece.
That's the batman we need to see not just a martial artist but a brutal force of a man
As cool as the whole fight looks, there are 2 specific moments that i like the most, that showcase exactly the nature of batman.
In real life there's no such thing as "not killing someone", not when you're facing armed criminals out to kill you...
This is one of the best fight scenes and best Batman fight scenes ever! I like how you can see how good of a hunter/fighter Batman is,He's not just taking on random thugs, those guys are trained killers!😮I Love this!❤️
This batman is a tired old batman who has become numb to the violence. He doesn't care how bad he hurts you as long as the hostile in neutralised
But Batman never kills. Which is why he started all this in the first place.
The ultimate edition feels like a totally different movie. 10x better tbh
In the more recent movies, the whole 'Batman doesn't kill' and 'Batman does not use guns' has been left behind in the comics, although he doesn't use many guns at all. A few though.
Honestly not really. It was never that black and white in comics either.

I remember playing the Arkham games and thinking the exact same thing!!

I do too! I loved the joker movie with its dark tones and haven't seen the new batman yet but am excited for that. I just thought that the MCU has done a better job of putting it together than the DCEU so far. Hopefully they can turn it around, would be great to get some quality movies out of it
The “no kill” rule is BS. Know the psyche of Batman. It’s only Christian Bales Batman’s code. And Adam Wests’s Batman too. R. Cetrone is magnificent!
the "no kill" rule tho added to the comics only because the wanted repeat villains and in the older comics he killed all his foes, that and the fact comics in the late 60's 70's were meant to be cleaner. but it became a very important part of his character and all his reasons for doing thing and is the key part of some of his best stories including this one where if you know the context robin, Dick Grayson in this universe, was killed by the joker and in this cannon bruce couldn't take it and stopped caring if he killed criminals to a point that Alfred and even Jim Gordon think he's lost his edge and needs help. so the "no kill" rule is very much NOT BS.

Keaton's Batman killed (witness the opening to Batman Returns for example), Kilmer's Batman caused the death of Two-Face, Bale's Batman also killed Two-Face, let Ra's al Ghul
die on the train, and was OK with Bane being killed by Selina.

Batman:
That guy dead!... Yep! 100% dead 😆 dude your hilarious and you just got a new subscriber!
Batman has shot and stab before people in the comics.
Batman didn't need to 'shell up' because he was armored down.
There's a comic book panel where the look on batman's face is priceless when superman punches a hole through the Joker's chest
Batfleck is a beast and his voice is how Batman should sound. Voice modulator. It's so much better than "WHERE'S THE TRIGGER" like you rolling into a Chevron and hear a crackhead talking to himself...
Some of his moves in this scene were ripped straight out of the Arkham series of games and I think this is the best Batman fight scene ever made
Ay don’t diss Jeremy Irons like that
U know Ben Affleck is bigger than the actual Batman is.
"This insane"
You've never read a comic
Do people not remember what Harvey said in the dark knight? If u don't then he said "u either die a hero or u live long enough to see yourself become the villain" so think about it Snyder wanted to show us that batman who has seen him self become a villain and has lost his way.
This is an older batman though, he kinda gave up in the kill rule in this.
This Batman been doing this for 35 years he can care less about the no killing rule.
BvS is my favourite comic book film of all time. Now that's my Batman!
About the whole "Martha" thing. The way Batman reacted to Superman saying "Martha" could be a consequence of PTSD. I'm not a psychologist, but don't ppl with PTSD react violently to "triggers" and such?
Aside from the flamethrower guy this batman indirectly kills some people
This was an older Batman which had grown out of his code. After Superman dies he takes the code again.
btw your are wrong about batman not killing people lol in the comics he did .... if u watch the extended cut of this movie...its much better than the cinematic cut...you get to really see batman why he does it, why he has given up trying not to kill...its told in dialogue, its told visually, its told through the actions of bruce, u get to see more of superman why he thinks the batman should be stopped...and what pits them against each other... i think the only thing standing in DC way is WB..glad zack findally gets a chance to show his vision
