@ I do still have it. Have it with the lemon lawyers taking care of the situation. Light didn’t turn on for about 2 months then it turned on again. And disappeared. Still don’t know what’s wrong with it. They’ve replaced Multiple parts already including the entire gas pipe
I own a CT6 & let me be the first to tell you this new CT5 doesn't even come close to an older model CT6. Where Cadillac went wrong is when they changed their target audience. They keep trying to make luxuries sedans into sports cars because young people like to go fast. While this entire time they're missing the whole point of what made a Cadillac a Cadillac! They're NOT supposed to be fast sedans. They're supposed to look good while driving slow when you're cruising so everyone can see you especially the ladies! Remember, pimping is a business & if you want something with a lot of horsepower go & drive a Camaro, but if you want something that'll get you some booty pull up in an all black CT6 on 20" chrome rims & watch the panties drop. You're welcome!
I completely agree but I got a Cadillac that’s a perfect mix of both, I currently drive a off black 14 CTS V-Sport Premium which is much more luxurious and better quality than the CT5 and it’s a great car with a magical 420hp perfectly combining sportiness, luxury and style

Unfortunately, after year 2, these GM cars creek, and rattle! They just aren't made well. Then you have the rear-end issue . . . The rears in these break! Lubrication is lacking thanks to a major design and engineering flaw. You'll have to continue to replace it and GM will NOT make it a "recall" because the company is not customer friendly. Hard PASS on this garbage!
I'm not a mechanic, but from what my extremely qualified mechanic said, (if I can recall it accurately) the rear end starts to grind due to lack of proper lubercation (mine was AWD) .... So, I believe it was the gears in the rear. They just became worn and damaged- before 80k miles. He's seen this in "a few cts and and ats"
I love Cadillacs, this is a nice car, but it’s not a caddy. The interior looks like it belongs in a Toyota. The dash is nice. The front almost says Cadillac, the sides….no, the rear…..barely. Looks like a Chevrolet Impala & the interior looks cheap compared to other luxury cars. It won’t be a good investment since resale value will collapse since car rental companies will buy many.
This car looks really good on the road. They’ve caught my eye every time I see one.
